I did the SWEDISH MASSAGE with HOT STONES and I was 90% percent better... I still felt a bit SORE afterwards but, I was so grateful for her hard work and help. I was able to straighten my back and walk a bit more normally afterwards... I also felt more ENERGETIC. She massaged my whole body and really focused on my PAINFUL spot which was my lower back and tail bone. She also massaged my FACE and EARS. She got a lot of KNOTS out of my upper BACK and NECK... FYI: I am a thin and tall built so I felt everything even if it was on the gentle side. I've had Thai massages that were so rough that my bones felt like it might break afterwards. I want to start off by saying that I was one of the first patrons to visit this establishment and when they started they were good. I would call for appointments and confirm costs but my last visit was disappointing to say the least. I called and confirmed time and was not told about the price increase of $10 per service. I made an appt for 3 people and brought enough cash for service + 20% tip for a $50 service. Upon my arrival I paid for all 3 upfront. I asked for Option 1, 60 mins body and foot which is $50, and was told to get this other one i usually get (with $10 price increase) because they couldn't do the $50 one for 3 people at the same time. My sister and I were shown to our rooms where our masseuses started. My mum waited for 15 minutes for her masseuse to even show and start. My sisters masseuse started to walk on her back. She immediately told them no as she has back issues in which case she just pushed and pressed on her back, no real massage was done. We were very disappointed and let down. When leaving I handed all the cash I had left for tips and the lady started yelling and demanding $20 per person for tip. $20 on a $60 dollar massage is 33 % tip. We went on a Sunday morning and it was not too busy. The 60 mins reflexology massage was very good, nothing spectacular. The massage room for two was private, but there was a gap between the wall to the ceiling so not completely audibly private. The place seemed clean and the therapists were friendly. The cost was very reasonable and they do charge $1 if paying by card. The only thing I did not like was the therapist had to answer a few phone calls during the service. I've been here twice and had very different experiences. The massages themselves are excellent and the prices are reasonable, plus they accept card payments which is convenient. There is a small charge to use your card though. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The walls don't go all the way up, so you hear everything from check-ins to phone calls, and people in other rooms. During my first visit, the lady's phone went off several times, and at one point a man walked in to hand her a phone, which she answered and used to book an appointment while I was still on the table face down with my legs all out in the open. Definitely not relaxing and really inappropriate. On my second visit, I went right before closing and was the only client there. That time, the environment was quiet and peaceful, and overall much better. If you're looking for a spa-like, relaxing escape, this probably isn't the place. The receptionist was extremely rude and bold. Both me and my husband had a great experience with our massage therapist but when we paid the $180 bill for 90 min I tipped $32 which was 18% . The receptionist laughed and said how about at least $20 a piece . I said what? I just tipped 18% that's not good enough for you . She then said our customers tip 30% and I said I highly doubt that and even if that's true a tip is a gesture of appreciation. No employee should tell any customer the tip is not enough . Then she tried to brush me off by saying ok ok ok a bunch. I said just so you know it's extremely rude of u to demand a tip amount. Never again !!!! So I have mixed feelings. My masseuse, the owner/manager, I believe, gave me a wonderful chair massage. She def had power. She didn't hit any spots I was looking to make ache less, but her effort and strength were admirable. I will for sure definitely come again. Now for my mixed feelings. My husband got a female masseuse that could not do it hard enough, and the worst part was that she was texting while massaging. My husband was pissed. I heard him from inside my room telling his masseuse that if she's going to text, then she had better finish texting and then start the massage. One of the best massages I've gotten. I have really bad neck pain on my right side that hits me hard once a month, it's been like this for years. It gets really bad sometimes to where the pain doesn't let me sleep or focus on work or it's really hard to drive and I have a long commute daily to work. The massage I received today, was focused in my neck as I instructed, I got the 90mins because the prices here are honestly so good compared to other places I've been to. And I requested a guy because I need the extra pressure - I didn't get his name but he knew how to locate every knot I had in my neck and undid ALL of them. I was actually amazing. Usually it takes me days of massages to undo them all, but he did it in the first 20 mins, all my neck pack was gone!!!! I was so amazed. Better than a Chiro tbh! tysm!!! 1000% coming back! I didn't care much for this place, but it might be for you. First of all, this is one of those massage places where they walk on your back. I'm not a fan of that, and I didn't know before I got there, but if that's your thing maybe you'll like it. However, they seem to be inconsistent with it; I went for a couple's massage with my wife, and I received a walk on my back while she didn't. Secondly, their pressure was pretty hard. I personally like massages that are so relaxing I may fall asleep. You don't get that here. Here, they will work to get out all the kinks and tightness in your muscles. It can be borderline painful, so keep that in mind. Again, it's not my thing, but it might be yours. Lastly, they focused a majority of their time on my back and shoulders. I know this is typically what gets focused on the most, but I feel like that was a focus for almost 75% of the hour, which is huge. It meant there was little time left for any other areas. Their technique was also a bit repetitive; our masseuses kept doing the same motions over and over, to the point where I wanted them to just hurry up and move to the next thing. The walls don't reach the ceiling so you can hear the other rooms very clearly, which I didn't really like. Just had a 90 minute massage with Cyndi. Honestly,the best massage I've had in years. I wasn't sure when I first arrived at this place of business but I'm glad I gave it a try. The first half of the massage was pretty intense for me but it felt like a necessary evil. I'm glad I stuck with it because that intensity really loosened me up and made the rest of the experience really relaxing. I never fall asleep during massages but I nearly did during this one. Reading through some of the other "comments" I wanted to jump in cause this place is not your "typical" massage where you spend $100 to have someone spray some lavender in the air and move your skin around for an hour. I've been coming here for 2 years. I started when I had a pinched nerve on my shoulder. I've only ever had Andy give me a massage. I do the same package every time. Coming here is intense. I leave sweating and sore but man oh man do I feel amazing in the following days. I love that I don't have to tell Andy anything. I lay down and I am amazed how he immediately is able to target my trouble areas (hips and shoulders). Is this relaxing? No. Does it hurt? Yes. Will you find your arm/shoulder/leg is feeling better a couple of days later? Yes. Will you feel like you've wasted $100s on "fancy" massages? I did. Since coming here, I've never gone back to message green, simply kneaded, or message envy. Okay so if you work a lot, are active and need a massage this is intended to really get the knots out, a d release tension, this is the massage to go to. This isn't the American massages just to feel good, this is that Asian massage to really hear your body towards healing and recovery if you are active and also have soreness. For me I am used to massages and I need ones I can actually FEEL, or ones that go deep enough, and this did it. I would say if you want a more relaxed one, or are not use to getting massages a lot, definitely communicate you want it soft or softer, or let them know you do not want too much pressure. But I got the pressure I was looking for to help get these knots and tense areas on my back and legs out. I would say the neck was little harder for me, but it felt a lot was released. Anyways. Glad I went and feel a lot better from all the deep tension and soreness that needed to get messaged out. My husband treated me for a Valentine's Day massage. What was supposed to have been 60 min reflexology and 20 mins chair. I came in for my appointment and the guy at reception changed it to a full body. He took me to a "room" which was complete open ceilings. I thought I was waiting for someone, but it ended up being him. He dry rubbed my back on top of the blanket for a solid 10+ mins, realizing, he just went straight from the front and didn't even wash his hands. I could hear what was going on in another room which was unsettling on top of it. He gave me a such a weird, aggressive massage. I can handle deep tissue! But that wasn't even that, it was like he was scrubbing dishes and wiping a table. Half way through, I hear someone cooking food in the microwave because then that's all I could smell. At the end, whatever oil he used and wet towel he used to "clean" off, again, it was like he was cleaning a table. I'm seriously confused at what happened to me tonight... First I came in because I've been struggling with terrible headaches, I usually goto relax zone and get a decent massage but this was down the street from my house and I didn't think id leave in way more pain. The man was so insanely rough that I'm literally in so much pain you can't even touch my neck without it hurting. My shoulders feel like they are on fire. During my "head" massage he literally karate chopped my head I'm not even kidding. I was literally thinking to myself WTF is going on. He also pulled my hair twice, and I don't mean on accident like a legit move in his massage. The pressure point he was doing have my skull sore. I'm not sure this could be a legal massage place but I wish I knew a more legit place to leave a complaint. There is still noise you can hear from other people in other rooms and the lobby area is really bright which I normally do not see in massage parlors. I would still recommend this place but make sure you do not come with real high expectations of say a pricier option because this is pretty much a "fast" massage place. I was in need of a foot massage, and found this spot on Yelp. The place was small, but clean. Most foot massages are done in a huge room, but the ones here are actually sectioned off. I got the 60 minute foot massage for $25, but I should've opted for a 90 minute massage. My masseuse was great and knew exactly where to work out my knots. It was my first time here. I called ahead to make an appointment. "Cindy" was my therapist. I was warmly greeted when I entered and they made me feel welcomed. A few interesting things happened during my massage. First, the good. This woman does amazing acrobatic techniques such as climbing on top of the table and massaging you with her feet! This consists of also massaging your butt using her knees to press down (she is essentially kneeling on top of your glutes, while her hands are working on your shoulders). This felt so amazing! Don't be shy, my friends! This is how they massage you at these Asian places. The room was nice and clean, dim, and there was pleasant music that was softly playing. The linens smelled fresh and clean. Their prices are very reasonable compared to others in the vicinity. Now the bad: The room was terribly cold, and it was noisy! The "rooms" are basically just cubicles, so you can hear every time someone walks through the front door, sneezes, grunts, farts, etc. I've been to many massage places and this was the noisiest environment I've experienced. You hear everything. Another thing; while Cindy had good technique, she was uneven on my body. For example, she spent considerably more time working on my back than when I was laying face up, and some parts of the body were done rather quickly while others she spent more time. I also experienced unevenness in the pressure she was using. At times, she would go from a comfortable hard and firm (which I like) to bone-crushing hard! I had to tell her twice to please ease up because I was hurting. After seeing that she kept doing it despite my requests, I just gave up and bore with it. First time here and it was AWESOME. I woke up with my back killing me and knowing I needed to get in somewhere quick...but I had a client call at 11am, so I needed someone that could see me early. Called around to quite a few different places and most don't open until 11am OR they are more expensive than what I was looking for. I called Temecula Rose Massage: they could see me at 10:15 for a 30 minute full body massage (which was only $25!)...SOLD! Upon arrival, they asked that I pay first - in my rush I only had my card and no cash so be warned that you will pay a $1 fee for using your card. They told me I could write the tip in after the massage. Walked in, since it was still a little early, I was the only person there so it was quiet, which was nice. You do get a semi-private room which is also nice, but open ceiling so you will hear other noises. I brought my headphones just in case, but didn't need to use them. Soft music was playing and the sheets/towels smelled and looked clean. My masseuse came in; she spoke quietly and asked if I wanted soft or hard pressure (I chose hard), and she was AWESOME. Super firm pressure and worked on my back for the majority of the 30 minutes which is exactly what I needed. I also got a nice surprise of a hot stone massage at the end!! I have to say that it felt like it was way longer than 30 minutes, she was so good. One thing to note is that although it is a 30 minute "full body" massage, it's not really. Like I said, about 20 minutes was on my back, and the last 10 was split between the stones, my arms, and then she just kind of rubbed the backs of my legs for a minute each. So it's not truly a full body massage like you would typically get, but 1,000% worth the $25+tip for an awesome 30 minute massage. I will definitely go back and get a longer session. My masseuse's name was Sydney/Cindy (I was in a massage fog when I asked and didn't ask her to repeat it lol). Left her a $7 tip, and I highly recommend requesting her! I realllllllly wanted to like this place based on past reviews and reasonable prices. Unfortunately I wasn't happy with the quality of the massage. The guy who worked on me was nice and super friendly. But it really boils down to the massage. Before I forget, I will point out that they do charge you before the service. This was a first for me. Because what If you don't like the work and don't want to tip?? So bizarre and very unorthodox. I asked for the one hour full body oil massage. So when my massage started, what got to me was the amount of time wasted doing pressure points, or not even that, I called it pinching or poking. No joke it felt like maybe 15-20 mins of just that. Finally the oil part started and the only thing done with the oil was using the forearms to roll up and down the back over and over. Other places there are diff ways and techniques. I really started to question if he was a legitimate masseuse. There was a point towards the end when they work on "pressure points" on your head. My God! it was painful. He was digging his fingers into my skull, my cheek bones, even. Then when working on my feet and arms, NO LOTION OR OIL. RAW DRY SKIN. This was not comfortable AT ALL. I came in with very little make up on, as I went towards the later afternoon. Warning to girls with makeup. Just don't wear any. I was cracking up bc, I draw my eyebrows in, and at that point he rubbed it all off. Not his fault or problem (I get it) but funny to me, that's all. I still tipped a $5 bill. I didn't want to, but I know Asians expect it. Funny enough, I was sharing my experience to a friend. She just so happen to go to this location, but a year ago.
