I've been to Rosa Spa several times and, up until now, I've had about a 95% satisfaction rate. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I brought my own massage oil--something I've never had an issue with before--and although the staff initially agreed, I had to remind the massage therapist repeatedly to actually use it. At one point, she even pulled out her phone to explain why she preferred their oil, insisting it was a "massage oil," which I never questioned. The point is that my oil was specifically crafted for nervous system soothing and fascia work, and instead of understanding or respecting that request, the communication and the technique were off. I didn't enjoy her style, I didn't feel relaxed, and it became clear nothing was going to change during the session, so I just went with it. What made it worse was the attitude I received when I tipped at the end. That reaction honestly discouraged me from returning. I hope this helps the spa improve consistency and communication because the potential is there, but this visit missed the mark. read more

My husband and I have come here many times and usually love our experience, but this visit was incredibly disappointing. We booked a couples massage as usual, but halfway through, our therapists stopped and told us we had to move because they needed the room for another couple. We were separated mid-massage and moved into different rooms - which completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing experience together. I could even hear the new couple come in and ask for a couples massage, and the staff said "yes, we have space" - right after moving us out! We've been loyal customers for a long time, but this felt very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Came here for the first time ever, I have been super stressed the past couple weeks and my shoulders/neck were killing me. They couldn't accommodate me as a walk in at that time, but asked me to return in about 90 minutes. There was no one up front when I got there, but someone came up front within a couple minutes. When I returned, they had me wait 5 minutes for the room to be ready. I was taken through a mini maze to the room, I didn't realize it was as big as it is. I loved the ambiance in here, especially the music, it was quite calming. The massage experience was outstanding, Lisa has magic strong hands and she was very thoughtful to continue to ask if I was ok between each part of the massage. She was extremely thorough! Only thing that I didn't like was that the rooms are not fully enclosed, they are open at the top connecting to the next room. You can hear every foot step, every cough, every sneeze, every door closing, the curtain, the microwave (we were in the back), anyone talking, etc. this kind of ruined the mood, but once you're deep under in a trance, it begins to fade away and you barely notice! read more

Got an hour long couples massage and 20 minutes of that was sitting waiting for them to leave the room and go grab stuff. Also was not very relaxing as the ladies were whispering up charges in our ears 4-5 separate times during the experience. Then at the end when a tip was offered the cashier scoffed (apparently the tip of 20 for an hour wasn't enough?) and looked at her coworkers and they all started speaking Chinese and laughing. I am a 68 year old male, play pickleball regularly and like to get full body massages once or twice a month. I find the massages consistently therapeutic, relaxing and thorough. The masseuse that I see is named Lily. She is always friendly and pleasant but what I find most amazing is her ability to give a consistently wonderful massage that each and every time. She walks back in and asked me if I have appt. My response was yes of course I called to make appt . She then tells me that my appt was never made , which was not my fault ! She was lovely and said I could come the time that I had wanted. I even called to say that I was running a bit late and she was completely fine with that. The first time I went here they did amazing, the second time was AWFUL! I will never be going back here!! Me and my husband went in yesterday for a couples massage. I booked an appointment for 7:30. My husband and I got there at 7:25 and waited 20 minutes to be taken back. Once we get taken back, three women are FRANTICALLY ripping the sheets off and putting new ones on while me and my husband were just standing there. They were bumping into us and laughing. We finally start our massage and the ladies were laughing and talking the entire time, making it very hard to relax. Other workers outside were also talking very loud we could hear them clearly. Me and my husband then hear extremely inappropriate words and then hear one of them say "NO, HES TOO GOOD". The lady I had was not massaging just grazing my skin so I ask her to go harder and she goes way too hard, so I ask her to go a little lighter and her and the other woman start laughing. The entire time she massaged one muscle on my back. She did not touch my lower back at all, which was the whole reason I went in. It was so terrible, I almost asked her to stop entirely so we could leave. At on point the sheet was off my body entirely and I was laying in only my underwear, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. She was not really massaging more just rubbing her hand all over my body. Once they finish, me and my husband agreed that it was a very terrible experience. My husband was in pain the entire time. I told him how uncomfortable I felt. We then go to pay. Side note: I am a very strong believer in tipping well, but I was so unsatisfied I did not tip. We sent our payment and the lady asks us where her tip is. I stand there in disbelief and she says "you need to tip a whole bunch" and husband says no, no tip. My wife and I have been trying a few spots around town but didn't feel they were satisfactory enough until we found this one. We both really like it here but I've personally had a mixed experience when coming. The times that my wife and I have gone for a couple's massage have been great. We both got masseuses that used just the right amount of pressure we wanted, and paid attention to all the spots on our body, including the head, shoulders, glutes and feet - spots that other places we've been to have neglected. These people do a great job and leave you feeling great afterward. They do have a tendency to ask if you want a special oil or treatment or extra time during the massage - all these little extras that will cost you more. You can just politely decline them, but maybe that is off-putting to some people. There was one time I came by myself and the experience wasn't so great. It wasn't because of the masseuse - she did fine - but the front desk lady that day was a problem. She was talking loudly in the hallways during my massage, and I could hear her yelling at some of the other masseuses. She also told my masseuse to hurry it up - my hour had just finished anyway when that happened, but it made my massage end on a pretty sour note. Note that this only happened once; on other days I've seen other people stationed at the front desk, and things have been fine. So the front desk can be a mixed bag, but overall the massages have been excellent and I'm not deterred from coming back. read more
