As an update. I was contacted by a potential customer who asked me how Plum Sage resolved our complete dissatisfaction for their huge "miss" on my daughter's wedding day. The answer is they NEVER returned a single phone call or email. As you can see on yelp here they also had the opportunity to apologize publicly and refund a potion of $7k. But they didn't do that either. Pictures don't lie and the fact they completely ignore an extremely upset customer means you have to ask yourself, why would anyone use this awful company. Their deceit and blatant poor workmanship along with lack of character makes wonder how many other people have lost their money to this business. read more

Erin and her team were SO amazing for our wedding. We only needed limited florals so picked up at her studio instead of having full service since we didn't meet the minimum. Despite this, I never felt like I was getting less than 100% of her effort and attention, which I think can be hard to find sometimes when your bill isn't in the 10s of thousands. The florals we got were better than I could have imagined and were packed up so perfectly for transport. She executed my vision perfectly and made adjustments along the way as my vision changed. I work in surgery as a nurse. My staff and I wanted to buy flowers to be sent to a coworker for her last day. The process was very simple and fast delivery!! I just think the price was much for the small arrangement and the level the flowers were cut it could have been a more beautiful arrangement left longer. Just kinda let down a little. So I'll just start out by saying I'm not very creative and I don't know much about flowers. I'm allergic to a few, including roses, so I was pretty uncreative when it came to my wedding bouquet. I pretty much found one on theknot.com and said "I want that one." I saw Plum Sage had several recognitions and whatnot so I decided to work w/ them. The girls who run it are pretty nice and I thought the understood what I was looking for. It wasn't hard, I had a photo. They suggested kangaroo paw to go along w/ the bouquet since they are red (matched my colors) and my husband and I met in Australia. Prices were reasonable so I went what the hey! Let's do it! Then comes wedding day....there was 2 calla lilies in my bouquet and the kangaroo paws weren't red, they were dingy gold...which worked perfect...or not so perfect w/ the fact my colors were red and silver. But 2 callas? REALLY? Everything else in the arrangement was cheap crap flowers and it looked nothing at all like the 10 calla bouquet I had requested. I spent $150 to get a few cheap flowers and 2 callas which can be purchased for $2 each...these aren't the giant ones I'm talking here, just normal. I was so disappointed I only use the flowers to walk down the aisle...had a throw bouquet which was suppose to look like a mini mine...yha, it had no callas. Not sure what I paid for.... b/c I would have been just fine throwing my real one away since it looked like most people's throw away ones anyways. Then I write after the wedding, not to get money back, but so she knew. She told me that it would have cost another $25 to get the one I originally requested...thanks for telling me that, I would have paid - $25 isn't exactly going to break the budget, and basically threw it back on me that she thought I understood that my calla lily bouquet was going to be more or less 2 callas. Doing wedding retakes in July, and will just make my own bouquet w/ more than 2 callas and I bet it will cost way under $175 and look better. As a follow- as you see from the comment below I was wrong on the price...so I went down to the flower shop that sells whole sale, well mini callas are $2.99 a stem. I got 10 for $39. So I think Plum Sage may be getting ripped off if they are paying $9 per stem. Bad suppliers I guess, dingy gold kangaroo paws and $9 callas? Also, Yelp is a place for consumer to write their experience and yha it sucks mine was bad, but did the follow up and the email telling me not to blast them on Yelp really needed? A good follow up is a refund, not one telling me I don't know what I'm talking about and have no right to say it. Sorry Plum Sage...you can't win them all. read more

I did not want flowers to take up a large percentage of my wedding budget. I was hesitant to contact Plum Sage since they had consistently been voted a "Knot Pick" for the last 3 years and thought that they'd laugh at my budget. I finally caved and called them. They listened to what I wanted - colors, feeling, overall look - and created a variety of options to fit within the budget. A few things I wasn't crazy about: While they are great to work with via email, our phone convos were not as successful...Erin always sounded rushed or annoyed (and I'm sure she was busy) but I would hang up and feel bad for calling...that should NEVER be the case. Additionally, we were responsible for returning all the vases. Maybe all florists do this and if so, this is a moot point, BUT I found it extremely annoying that the day after the wedding I had to take care of this task. Sure, I could have assigned someone to do it, but that's just passing the annoyance onto someone else. All in all - I would recommend Plum Sage, regardless of your budget. They definitely have a knack for bringing your vague vision of wedding day flowers into a clear, beautiful reality! read more

There is a reason that Plum Sage keeps getting "Best of the Knot" for wedding flowers. Because they really are the best. I decided to use them on the recommendation of a work friend who had interviewed them and then ended up regretting not to hire them for her flowers. After talking to Erin and giving her the idea of what I wanted for my flowers she was onboard. And I'm glad that she was. My wedding flowers were spectacular, unique and at the same time highlighted my dress, our reception space and our wedding cake. I could not have been happier. To top it off, the price was very reasonable. The service, quality of the flowers and the uniqueness of the design were outstanding for the dollars. My husband and I hired Plum Sage for our 6/25/16 wedding in Larkspur, CO and I am so happy we did!!! Mallory was our design consultant and contact the entire time...she is AWESOME! We wanted a "lost in the woods at twilight" look to our wedding - lots of moss, candles, ferns, etc. They completely nailed the look and surpassed my every expectation! My jaw dropped when they dropped off the bridal flowers to my mother's farm where were were getting ready. And the flowers at the ceremony site and in the reception room...WOW! Just stunning, absolutely stunning! I cannot wait to see the pictures! Our initial meeting with them was great and I knew we were in good hands. They have the cutest old townhouse they are based in near downtown Denver. Very neat vibe. We loved how they have their computer and screen pulled up to design your wedding right there with them and to capture every idea. I made lots and lots of additions and changes over the 9 months we were planning (including moving to a new venue) and Mallory was so accommodating and welcoming to every change! I really liked that they were truly excited to do our flowers! They take a lot of pride in the arrangements they produce and you can tell they love what they do. Additionally, Plum Sage showed up early on the day of the wedding to do extensive set-up, hand delivered personal flowers to where I was getting ready, stayed till the start of the reception to move flowers from the ceremony to the reception, and then came back at midnight to pick everything up. What service! Our wedding coordinators and the venue just adored them to! Our flowers were so beautiful that they made the entire wedding. And the pictures I have seen so far are stunning. I had a good experience with Plum Sage! I can attest that yes, their email convos may have been a bit shortened and terse, but I'm guessing they are just busy. I didn't take it personally. They didn't have an attitude when I needed to slash my floral budget in half, or when I needed to make last minute changes, and my flowers ended up being gorgeous. I'm not a big flower person though. I love the way they look, but hate to see all the waste when they die. Plum Sage offered great suggestions for me, kept my budget in mind, and were on time with the delivery. Elizabeth helped me last minute put together a bouquet and boutonniere for a wedding right after Christmas. She was very responsive and had the best layout for sending over a proposal for the flowers, it was nice to see the actual photos of what the flowers looked like so there wasn't any confusion. The price point was also perfect. My wedding was on December 28 so it was right in the middle of the busiest holidays but that didn't bother Elizabeth and she was very excited to work with me.
