Let me start by saying I always pronounce it wrong. I keep referring to Papyrus as "Pay-per-us!"…read more I finally asked a store clerk and she said it is "Pa-Pie-Rus. Easy enough to remember since I'm a dessert lover and PIE is right up there! A family member got me hooked on Papyrus greeting cards. I would marvel at the intricate and artistic details of each beautiful card. The envelope itself is impressive, and most include specialty NIQUEA.D seals. They also come in cello sleeves to protect your purchase. These cards are pricey!!! While you can definitely find some for under $5.00, I find the majority of their cards are in the $10-$15 range. Yes, for one card! Considering the rising cost of greeting cards these days, I only buy them to celebrate special moments in life: weddings, newborn babies, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The people that I give them to are collectors. They admire, appreciate and keep them. I have been keeping greeting cards for decades. I also purchase the cards when they have promotions, such as buy 3 get 1 free, or 20-30% off. If you enjoy fine art and exquisite greeting cards, this is the place! * All visits were pre-COVID closure

There are different special moments that an Ecard or a Text is just not good enough! All the cards here are all nicely made, not like what you get in dollar store or Walmart! They do have "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" specials. Definitely worth getting a few in case you forgot that special anniversaries or birthdays! The store is really spacious and fun to browse!

I found Broadcast Fantasia by accident. It's near Best Buy and the washrooms at CF Markville Mall…read more To make a long story a lot shorter, in early August, I wanted to hit the food court to use the washroom and grab dinner. I wasn't intending to shop. I hit the food court. It was under construction. The washrooms were closed. The next set of washrooms were by this store and Best Buy. Luckily, I wasn't in emergency bladder mode. By the time I walked over here, I felt like I was close. My bladder was grateful to have made it. Me, too! Afterwards, I checked out this store. It had a lot of merchandise that I liked. The housewares section had Sanrio plates, cups, water bottles, and more. I found a cute Hello Kitty acrylic coaster. I was shocked to find out that a single coaster was going for $30. What?! I realize that a lot of the merchandise in this store is cute and imported. It's also overpriced, especially during this Civic Holiday weekend. There was a sale on selected items. Sadly, this coaster wasn't a part of it. If you like plushies, this store has a decent variety. Again, prices are on the expensive side. I recommend saving up before you shop here. If you love K-pop, this store is for you. There was a new releases section. I liked it. It was a throwback to hitting a record store and getting that album that you're dying to listen to. I found a Keroppi change purse. However, it was fuzzy and I can see it getting dirty quickly. How do you wash it? Likely with care and by hand. It was nice to browse. I hope that this store endures. The prices are pretty steep for what you are getting. (347)

This is my go-to KPOP store as it has the most up to date stock (about 2-3 weeks after release) The staff there are super knowledgeable and friendly! Fans just like us and are willing to help on any way, especially if they have deals or promos, they will tell you about it. The prices are fair (basically like Amazon+shipping) so totally worth it. And most times, with new releases, they have pre-order bonuses (you can also pre-order online and pick up in store)

I have only visited this store in Mississauga a few times. I didn't realize that STC had one, so I dropped by to check it out. This store has a lot of cute and practical Japanese and Korean merchandise. It appealed to me. I especially like when you get a product that is both cute and practical. For instance, you could get Angie the booklight. Angie happens to be a purple anglerfish that allows you to read in darker areas. I also liked a bacon mousepad. It was adorable! There were beauty products, such as eyeshadow, hairbands, and facial masks. The prices were pretty good considering the assortment of shades that you got in the former. The selection of hairbands was limited. The facial mask varieties were excellent. This store had a lot of plushies. You can get boba ones in a variety of colours. They were cute and sweet. It also had the cutest PopSockets. The characters on them were rather large, so it may not appeal to everyone. I ended up getting a purple boba tumbler that was heavily discounted. The fact that it had a diamond-cut lid and was purple drew me in to buying it. The price was also right. I had a friendly woman at the checkout. She advised that sale items were final, so exchanges or refunds weren't allowed. I understood this policy, as I had checked that my tumbler was in good shape before I committed to buying it. I paid with a debit card. All went well. My tumbler is pretty cool. It's cute and it keeps cold drinks cold for many hours. I enjoyed shopping at this store. It's deadly if you like cute, practical items. I may need to return and get that bacon mousepad because it's so adorable. (344)
