    Best Margaritas on the Beach!
    Adrienne O.

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The margaritas are perfection, their service is excellent - Gina was just wonderful- their food is mouthwatering!! The Ambience is the show stopper with turquoise ocean views at all angles! And then after all that, we one of the most amazing massages of my life in their upstairs oceanfront massage Spa. Treat yourself!!

Came here for massages. My group and I found this place online and booked while on our cruise ship in port via the WhatsApp app. We all booked one hour massage. We all agree this was by far one of the best massages we have ever had! Best price too. Bring cash for a tip. You will leave feeling amazing! Elizabeth was my masseuse and she literally worked out so many knots and even cracked my back. Felt so good! Much needed and so appreciated. Would highly recommend when in Cabo.

I really wanted to like this spot for a great massage but it was lacking. First of all it is in a building upstairs from the beach. It is not in the beach as advertised. The price is epic, $51 for a 90 minute massage, but the massage is more similar to my wife rubbing my shoulders. You must change in the bathroom, remove all of your clothes and wrap a towel around yourself then walk through a crowd to get to your table. If together with someone else there is no guarantee that you will be near one another. You are massaged in the open among the other customers and the crowd. Finally you go to a small dressing room, Put your clothes on and are sent in your way. I personally recommend looking elsewhere for a more personalized, private and better massage.

I was yelping a good burger place in Cabo and this place popped up which is right next to our hotel! Great! They also have a massage which was more inexpensive compared to the massage place that we frequent. I could see from my balcony that this place has more customers. The other place said Sand Bar only changes their sheets and towels after serving 5 customers while they change their sheets every visit. I bought it but I don't think that's true. Anyway, back to my food review. The burgers were massive. We also ordered oysters, calamari and fish and chips. Ate on the balcony on the beach with a beautiful full red moon. Service was polite and hospitable. Excellent dinner! Next time we're here, I'm gonna try their massage.

First time here!! I reserved two massages here !! 40 dollars for a 60 minute massage!! Very nice people!! The bar area had great views and good bar food!! Service was great!!! We will be back for another massage !! Great job!!

My husband and I booked a 90-minute four-hands massage ($105) for our anniversary. Talk about relaxing and simply heavenly! The ocean breeze and the sound of the waves made it an unforgettable experience. Whenever we visit Cabo, a massage at The Sandbar is always on our itinerary. This was our first time trying a four-hands massage, and wow -- once you try it, you'll never want to go back to just two hands. The massage itself definitely deserves 5 stars. However, I'm giving 3 stars overall because we didn't get the full 90 minutes we paid for. Our appointment was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., and we arrived early at 10:40 a.m. Unbeknownst to us, they started the clock when we checked in at 10:40 a.m. After the massage, I got dressed and checked my watch -- it was 12:09 p.m. That's when I realized we had been shorted on time. When I brought this up, they explained that the session started when we checked in. I really dislike this policy. Even if they counted from 10:40 a.m., it still doesn't add up to a full 90 minutes, especially since 12:09 was after I had already gotten dressed. It was disappointing to feel like we were cheated out of part of the experience. For the quality of the massage, I'd happily give 5 stars, but the time issue is a big letdown -- especially on a special occasion like our anniversary.

Citrus mocktail. Grapefruit and orange juices with grenadine...

Fun place for drinks and light dinner around sunset time. Service was great... friendly, attentive, with a fun atmosphere. Right on the beach! Seats downstairs are in the sand... we sat on the deck (2nd floor) and next time we will come for massages on the third floor! View was amazing... and food was very tasty! We had calamari appetizer. So yummy... tempura style served with tartar sauce (mostly mayo), and lime. Ordered fish tacos and shrimp tacos. They were giant sized for street tacos. Couldn't eat it alll and took the second tacos home for the next day. Yum! Definitely plan to come back so we can enjoy massages before a meal!

Stopped in Cabo while on a cruise and researched this place beforehand. Wife and I booked 90 minute massages ($51 each) with a reservation for brunch to follow. Everything was amazing. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent views right on the beach. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I come to Cabo for! The authentic seafood, the mezcal drinks, and the by-the-beach table. They also had a beef hamburger for the wifey since she's not too keen on the raw stuff LOL

We went to the sandbar to grab some drinks and appetizers before dinner. We were seated right on the beach with a lovely view of the cove. The atmosphere is a fun party vibe, but still good for a date night or family. All of the food was exceptional, and the drinks were good too. I would go back here on my next visit.

The only reason for 4 stars is bc the masseuse could have used a lot more pressure. My husband said his was great. If we ever return to Cabo we will return here for sure.

Had a nice relaxing lunch alone here. My table mates were in bed with food poisoning so I came to town alone. The restaurant had a magic mike show going, and then a beer chugging contest. It was nice to have the entertainment since I sat alone. I ordered Nan has and they were fantastic!! Tourist prices but they do have a 2 for 1 beer deal.

Beautiful place to have a drink and snack. The French fries are excellent and the ceviche was so refreshing. We also had a 90 min massage upstairs and it was sooooo worth it. Plan to feel like a wet noodle afterwards and just chill out for the rest of the day. The music was definitely loud but I actually really enjoyed it. There's no talking so I didn't mind being in the same room as the other people getting the massage. Super friendly staff too. Took off one star because I went back to take food to go and the bar tender was pressuring me to buy a drink while I waited for my food

We were warmly greeted by Miguel who let us pick our table. The ambiance is welcoming and warm with great views. We started with some beer and the Cadillac Margarita; the Margarita was presented beautifully and strongly poured. We also chose the Flaming cheese to start with as mentioned on the other Yelp reviews. We loved that and highly recommend it; the corn and chorizo were delicious! For our entrees we went with the Mexican Combo and the Surf n Turf. The Mexican Combo came with a Chicken Enchilada, Chile Relleno and Skirt Steak. The surf n turf had lobster tail, bacon-wrapped filet, mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. My boyfriend mentioned that he wasn't too fond of how the filet was cooked, but thankfully I enjoyed it while he preferred my skirt steak. We ordered the Flan and Churros for dessert and they didn't disappoint. The Churros came with chocolates caramel and marshmallow dipping sauces. I loved the marshmallow and my boyfriend loved the caramel. We stayed for a few hours and enjoyed some more shots and beverages while watching the sunset. Miguel and his staff were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Catrina. You should definitely make a stop here while in Cabo; the prices are more than reasonable and the service is exceptional!

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.
