This was my first visit. I made an appointment for 10:30am on a Saturday -- for a gel manicure, pedicure & eyebrow wax. There was 3 people working, each one busy, so I wasn't started until 10:55am. No biggie, nail salons typically have a wait, even when you make an appointment & they were apologetic. My lady was very nice, although I didn't catch her name. She did a good job on my mani, my only little complaint was the leftover polish spots on my skin. The pedicure went well too. They have many options for pedicures, I went with the paraffin wax pedi which felt great. They also offered a small water & cup of fruit which was nice! -1 star star because by the time my pedi was done I had been at the salon for about 3 hours so I didn't bother getting my eyebrow wax. My advice is don't book/walk in, for the mornings, especially on a weekend. After 12pm it really slowed down in there & that's when I'll be coming back. read more

I was getting my nails filled today, and was having them filed down as they usually do... then i started to get an unbearable pain and burning in my nail and whole ring finger, then it started happening to my left thumb and right pinky, like I had just put them on the stove. he kept trying to ask/ tell me I was already having this pain before I came in... I told him no, and he still proceeded. I was visibly and audibly in searing pain and it was completely disregarded and he continued to do my nails and said "you're fine" "beauty is pain" "don't cry your fine" he told me to stop moving around and said "I'm almost done." It was disrespectful and unprofessional. i was charged almost $50 for my appointment, and when I got into my car, i couldn't even hold my steering wheel because my fingers and nails hurt to much to touch. Now, 8 hours later, my ring finger is now numb (like I had just put super glue all over it). the pain was just a little bit relieved after I had soaked it in ice for a very long time. Somewhat cheap prices but bad quality service. I was completely disappointed with the services provided. I've had my nails done here before but this was a whole new level of unprofessional, I know a handful of people with the same experiences. read more

The reason I only put three stars is because of the results, my nails look good shape wise. I asked for a candy cane design though and was given just stripes. I provided a picture and everything. I do understand it can be hard to do designs but I much would've rather preferred being told he couldn't do it vs just giving me straight diagonal stripes with few variation. I completely understand it's hard for some designs but I wish I could've just gotten a solid colored nail instead or a discount because of how messed up they look. 56 bucks after tip, for shellac acrylics. So I made an appointment here and asked for a mani and pedi. Nobody asked if I wanted gel or regular. So I get here and they ask if I am doing gel or regular. I say regular. Gel has done nothing but ruin my nails. And they tell me they only do gel on finger nails, they won't do regular polish. I ask why and tell them it would have been good to know before I made my appointment. He said I should have asked. Their excuse was that they can't dry the nails before you leave if regular. But they don't dry the toes so I'm not sure how that excuse makes any sense. I think they just want you to spend more. So how about the next time someone makes an appointment you ask if they want gel or regular and advise then that you only do gel. Then the guy tells me when I called to let them know I was running late that I should have asked then if they do gel and regular. Why would I ask that? I've been getting mani and pedis for over a decade and have never found a nail salon that won't put regular polish on your fingers. There are tons of nail salons around, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLACE! If the guy wouldn't have made it my fault and they offered this important information up front I would have come every two weeks all summer. This salon is literally the worst salon I've ever gone to. I went in asking for a Moz dip manicure and walked out with a Barbie pink manicure. A few days later my nail cracked and I called them to repair it before I leave for my trip. There were some young girl on the phone who supposedly put me on hold however I was able to hear the lady yell in the back saying "do we look like we have time today". Well... prepandemic I loved this place. Now... when I make an appointment, I am not seen until about 30 min later. When the technician is bouncing between different people. I get they may be short staffed. But they should focus on not over booking!!! It really is frustrating and the lack of communication on what is even going on is very frustrating. Normally every time I go here it's a good experience but this time was absolutely terrible. They got my friend and I in pretty quickly so the wait wasn't the issue. It was the finished product. I asked for a pink fill and the gentleman asked if this other pink powder would work. I said as long as it will look good I don't mind, whatever is easiest for you. The overall process was normal and everything seemed fine until I had to pay. Typically at other salons I have only paid $20 for JUST a powder fill and top coat. No color or anything else. I was charged $31 for this. I was confused and just payed. After we walked out I look at my nails and the color is not the same, my cuticles were not trimmed, and the skin around my nails looked like someone took a chainsaw to them. I moved to Ellensburg in July and found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out. I've been driving to this salon every few weeks ever since because they are so amazing, the drive is worth it! The staff is friendly and covid conscious; they take your temperature at the door and have you wash your hands before touching anything at the salon. I have gotten both acrylics and dip powder here and my nails always end up looking so good and last too. I have gotten constant compliments on my nails since coming to this salon, especially on my Halloween nails which were completely free handed! Because of the amazing job they've done with the dip powder, my natural nails have gotten a chance to grow longer and be strong enough not to break like they usually do; I am so impressed. I've also gotten a couple pedicures here and they are enjoyable and relaxing, plus the sugar scrub they use smells incredible! If you're looking for amazing nails, I'd definitely recommend coming here. read more

I went here got my toes. Painted and a full set. The young man who painted my toes was awesome and did a good. My set however was done by another man and he was awful he was so rough and rude. He made 2 of my fingers bleed didn't even care or notice i had bleeding open cuts due the fact he was watching tv on his IPAD. I will never come back my fingers still hurt. read more

We visited this salon the day after they were opened after five long months of shutdown . Everyone was very welcoming and so kind. The place was spotless and all restrictions were being followed. The service was ok. They were nice, and seemed to be doing an ok job at at first. I asked for dip powder. Everything was going well until it was time for the polish. The nail tech layered on too thick of a coat several times. My nails ended up looking and feeling very bumpy. My cuticles also didn't get trimmed or pushed back. I would have appreciated it if they actually listened to what I had asked for which was short square looking natural and they look thick and bumpy. Upsetting that they charged me full price when it wasn't even a full set, $50 is outrageous for the work they actually did. Other places only charge $35 for dip powder. See picture below. The tech used dirty tools from a dirty tray to grind down and buff my nails and the new color developed tiny air bubbles all over the surface. Never go there again. read more

Quite possibly the worst salon I have ever been to. First, there was 1 man working, he said he was the owner, with about 6 customers. He went back and forth between doing my nails and doing 3 pedicures, it was a nightmare. He spoke negatively about my previous manicure, demonstrated that his way was the right way and that no one was smart enough to train and work with him. Full set acrylic: 1) Owner placed tips, did not cut the tips, and then proceeded to lay acrylic over long uncut tips. This resulted in him having to cut the acrylic nail in its hardened state causing pain and discomfort with each cut. I have never had a nail technician do this before. They usually cut the tip down and then apply the acrylic over it. 2) the acrylic was applied inconsistently making it look like it had been grown out for a week. He had filed down the cuticle and nail which is normal but because he didnt apply acrylic to the cuticle it also looked dry.The application was uneven. This is a problem because the purpose of going to a salon and getting your nails done is to make your nails look beautiful. This did not happen. 3) When he was filing my nails he told me the pain was a result of me having weak nails. When he was using the file to even out and shape my nail he told me that the nail shape i wanted was not going to look any good on me. During this he accidently moved the file over my skin causing immediate pain, he did not apologize but told me it was my fault for moving. *i have been to many salons but neverr have I been treated or blamed for something I did not do. I have had people be rude but the quality of the work done was all i cared about. The nail work was bad. I actually had to go in to another salon to get a fill after a week. I would not recommend this establishment if you will have service done by the owner himself. The pedicure stations looked amazing but i cant comment on the service because i have not received a pedicure from this place. read more

Big sigh* I just moved out here from the Seattle area and am still on a quest to find my nail salon. I came to Happy Feet last week at 330pm. The door was locked. That time I ended up going somewhere else that was terrible. Fast forward after my vacation to LV, my feet needed some love. Came back to happy feet and they were open. First thing i noticed was that it was a mess. Clutter everywhere. The 2nd thing i noticed was the smell. Are they living and cooking here? A gal was folding laundry and then she started cutting up a dang mango?!?! The only other person there was on the phone. He quickly asked me what i wanted and told me to pick a color and sit. He turned on his headset and continued to talk. He did a great job scrubbing my heels. They sure needed it!! My toes look fine too but cuticles aren't trimmed enough and he was killing me how hard he was digging under my nails with the sharp end of that tool. then after he was done he went and sat down on the couch, put his feet up, and continued to talk. Then he started chewing very loudly on I dont know what. And the volume on the TV was blaring. Then he came up to check my toes and he let out this huge burp!!! Bahahahaha I didnt even care. I was cracking up. Sorry but I wont be back to deal with this for a $30 pedicure. All I want to do is relax when Im at the salon. Not happening here. read more

I come here all the time. I love the massage chairs and the people here. Young runs the place and he's always friendly! He remembers me and is great to talk with. They have wine that they offer while getting a your nails done! They also offer water every time. I love the hot stone and roller that they use to massage. It's just so relaxing!!! read more
