I have came here 3 times. And the first few times have been alright for my pedicure and full set. Tonight i went for my birthday and the man who did my toes saw i had acrylic on my big toes that needed filled in and he just put gel polish right over top. So now they are lumpy and grown out with gel over top and uneven as hell. Then my nails which are just a simple white tip are uneven and different lengths. My nails and toes were a treat for my birthday and these were so lazily done im so upset. I will never go here again. This was an extremely rushed service- my husband & I went in for pedicures and they were busy, but said they had plenty of time to do our feet and it quickly did become less busy & we put in water... Oh boy here we go... Came here with 3 other people to get some wedding/bridal nails done so we could look fabulous for pictures. Made appointments for 11 and when we walked in every person who worked there was busy. Even though we got seated right away, we waited 20 minutes for the first person to finish up and come help. The one lady who did mine was so rushed and didn't even bother to clean off the polish that was on my skin around my toes. When people get up they just spray bleach in the pedicure bowls and don't even scrub/rinse before they fill it up for the next person. They kept answering phones on speaker (which is fine) and kept telling people to come in right away even though they were jam packed and keeping people who walked in with appointments waiting. People were also calling to make appointments for about a week out and they would say okay but not write anything down. The plus side is they require masks, which is nice with cases on the rise again. But I'll make sure that I will never ever ever come back to this place again. read more

They helped me remove my dip with tip without any damage to my nails and did a new pink gel manicure after another salon made me feel bad and turned me away. I've struggled with finding a decent nail place in Yakima. I'm literally still getting my nails done but I'm so impressed with the customer service and the job they're doing on my nails that I know I'll be back. Came down for vacation and Tina did my nails for me and my mom. While she was doing them I noticed that she was rushing. I noticed that she didn't file after she put the acrylic on so it was raised up on my cuticles and two days later it started coming up on the corners. At the end of a week, my nails were catching on my hair really badly. I'm going to have to get them re-done when I get home. Ideally my nails last for 2 to 3 weeks but this time only a week due to poor application. read more

While I have gone there several times, I shall probably seek another spot next time. I have had my nails dipped and each time there is residual polish on my surrounding skin. But it was the pedicure that finalized the deal: The first manicurist trimmed and filed my toenails too short (and I prefer my toenails squared-not rounded so close to the toe edges to prevent problems with ingrown nails) and I'm rather nervous as to how they will grow out. If I don't get a hangnail, I will be pleasantly surprised! When she was finished, another came to do the polish. I rather just have one person so I have their undistracted attention, She was definitely in a hurry. Had I not been relaxing in their massage chairs, I would have noticed what she was doing so that was my fault. If I could I would give this place negative stars I would! I went in last week for a mani/pedi. I felt like the girl who did my nails was in a rush. There's no pictures of my my pedi but you can still see the old color on some of the nails. As far as my manicure it looked like a 5 year old did my nails. Cuticles weren't pushed back at all and I had all this excess gel on my finger nails and fingers. I called and let them know the gel started to peel up and crack and it hadn't even been a week and they said to go back in. Anyways went back in and they started to file the gel off and told them to soak. They soaked them but still filed after they soaked my hands for a little while instead of just pushing the gel off. They didn't even do a full manicure again they just redid my nails which was fine that's what I was going in for either way but when they finished they wanted to charge me for redoing a job they had messed up in the first place. The original day I went I couldn't stay for them to redo them because I had somewhere else to be so I figured oh well but once they started to crack and peel that's when I had it! How can they do such a crappy job both times and expect the customer to pay twice for a crappy job! Never again!! Do not recommend. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was there for an hour and a half... then it wasn't close to what I wanted. When she asked if I liked them I told her no and explained a couple times. No attempts were made to fix it, she just charged me walked off and never came back. I have glitter polish all over my fingers and my nails are so ugly I cried all the way home. This was a great for me. I don't normally get to do this. now I have to pay someone to repaint them because they are hideous. Great customer service! My sister in law & I went in 2 years ago right before my wedding. Great service then, so we went back. I called a few days ahead to make an appointment for girls day. Went with my mother in law & sister in law. We all got seated right away next to each other. The ladies there were very accommodating & super sweet. They do a kick ass job doing nails. I absolutely love mine ! I pretty much only go to Pronails now. There's one other place that I kinda liked but I feel like they got an attitude if I mentioned I wanted a nail a little extra filed or what ever simple fix I requested. Regardless, you're paying for their service, you shouldn't be made to feel reluctant to say what it is you want. I don't have that problem at Pronails. Would not recommend. We had appointments, showed up on time, chose our colors for pedicures and then they had us put our feet into the water. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. They finally started my pedicure after 45 minutes of waiting. I had to ask for them to go back and remove the color I came in with-she was ready to just move along and paint my toes with a layer of the original color. I had to ask for a base coat before they put the color on also. After an hour and a half we were done. I had planned to do a manicure as well but I didn't have time after just the pedicure. Update 4-15-16 Spoke to the owner/ manager today, she said they'd re-do them, and I explained we live 3 hours away so can't come back. I asked for a refund and she said no, but next time we're in Yakima come in and they would re-do for free-yeah, that won't be happening any time soon! Lesson learned: don't get nails done out of town when you can't go back, and don't pay cash! She said some people have oily nails so "next time" they would apply something to help with that-well, it happened with both my daughter AND her friend, and both have had Shellacs done back home that have lasted 2 weeks so, not so sure of that explanation. Again, really sucks for her to save up for something like this and it goes down the drain. $50 is a big deal but especially when you're 15 :( I, my 15 year old daughter and her friend were in Yakima from out of town. My daughter saved up to treat she and her friend to a shellac manicure, for her friend's birthday, and we came here after reading the good reviews. They were very busy which seemed like a good sign, and the workers were nice. But after only 5 days, both girls' Shellac chipped and came off on several nails. Since its hard enough for a 15 year old to save up $50 plus a tip, it bites extra hard to have a Shellac, which should last 2 weeks, come off so fast. I asked for a short trim, and to my disgust all my toe nails are cut very short. A couple of toe nails are even cut slanted! The staff are very nice and attentive. However, they are understaffed so they have to jump between customers. This means you never get their full attention. My Mani and pedi are okay I want to say. They appear fine at first but then soon there are streaks and bubbles everywhere. Being a person who does my own nails often and am OCD of how perfect they look, I am unsatisfied. They do not use a base coat so beware your nails will not last that long. A tip is to wash your hands and nails really well after they do a massage on your hands with soap and let air dry before they put polish on. Overall, okay work but I will not return. read more

Great customer service, extremely accommodating- they even stayed open late once to finish a mani/pedi so I could come in after work. I've been to many nail salons in Yakima and I rate Pro Nails as one of the best. The first time I walked in I felt welcomed and comfortable, which in my experience is not usually the case. Tina, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. I did have 2 manicurists work on different parts of the process, but that clearly was necessary to accommodate all clients because they were very busy. So, I consider that a good business decision so no one coming in had to wait. Tina speaks excellent English, but I did have difficulty understanding or even hearing the other gal, as they wear face masks. Both gals were very careful and gentle with the electric roller and manual shaper. I didn't feel comfortable placing my hands in the drying machine because it was dirty on the outside. Sanitation is very important in the nail business so that was disappointing. I will probably return for a pedicure soon and will then review that experience. read more

Not the best place I have gone, but they fixed my moms toe nail polish that was messed up from a different place. And they did a pretty good fill on my acrylics. Polish turned out great and I brought my own nail jewels to use. They were happy to put them on my nails and my toes to keep the design the same.
