WORST PEDI EVER - Rushed, total 15 minutes start to finish. She faked the initial work they normally do, acting like she was trimming the cuticles but not even touching them. She even made a mess with the nail polish and barely tried to fix it. I've never experienced anything like it. I've been there before and had OK pedis (never great), but this was absolutely absurd. I can't say I had the best experience here. I'm from out of town and wanted to get my gel mani so my friend who lives here referred me to this place where she always goes. I'm a full specialist so I do facials and nails in my hometown. I was surprised when the lady that did my nails did not follow protocol for gel nails no bonding no anti fungal no nothing she just went straight to put the gel on my bare nails. Now I understand why the prices are so cheap. I was there fifteen minutes in all. I feel for their customers that are not getting the proper treatment for their nails. I was watching my buddies daughter play hoops for Friends HS and my wife told me to get my dogs worked on before our trip to Florida. They were woofing. If I could give a less than 1 rating I would. My sister paid cash for my mom's pedicure this morning at Happy Feet in Moorestown. Then my mom found a gift card in her purse and wanted to use it. My sister told the woman at the front desk that she wanted to use the gift card so the woman took the gift card but questioned my sister when she asked for the cash back that she had JUST paid! Huh? The woman told her she had to look back at the camera footage to make sure she paid her. My sister was like what? I literally just paid you. The woman said fine, but I will check the footage. So we left. My sister got a call 7 mins later that the woman had looked back at the footage and my sister didn't pay her the cash. OMG. My sister argued with her for a few minutes before hanging up. Unreal. The woman just called again and claimed my sister was lying and that her drawer was short the exact amount of the pedicure. If that's even true, it's probably b/c she counted a cash receipt when we wound up paying with a gift card. This is just so unbelievable to us. Why on earth would she try and steal $28 after being loyal customers for years. We will NEVER be back and make sure as many people as possible know about our experience. read more

I have been going there for over 9 years I think. Have only used 3 nail techs and was I felt a consistent with one particular tech for the last 5 years, Sam. Well I can never go back. Was there about 5 weeks ago and had made a last minute appt on Friday(he doesn't work on weekends). They had me in for 6 but I got a call asking me to come in later because he was running behind. No problem. Well I think Sam was mad that he now had this late appt, the whole time he was checking his phone and the time. Didn't even speak to me. I actually felt so bad that I said " i had an earlier appt they rescheduled me" He appeared so annoyed with either the situation or me I actually said you don't have to do the polish. And once he was finish with the cleaning part of the pedicure I just paid and left. I was thinking everyone has an off day, you know. Well, today I went for a pedicure which I scheduled 2 days prior. Get there, get told he is ready for me. Taken to a basin and I take off my shoes and socks and get ready, waiting and then finally get told. " Sam said you were angry with him last time and he isn't doing your pedicures anymore". You know how hurt and embarrassed I was. I've been going there for such a long time, never had a problem, tip every time, just come in, sit down, am quiet and get my service and leave. I have even waited months to get my pedicure by Sam ( he went to Vietnam to visit family), that is the loyalty I had, but then this was how I was treated. The manager is a lovely woman and said someone else could do my pedicures, but as I sat there for about 40 mins, I saw how the techs were looking at me and it would have been deeply unpleasant to stay. I'm sure I'm now somehow an angry black woman to them, while I just sat there in silence and hurt. A title that is unjust and just sad. Can you understand how hurtful it is to be accused of something you didn't do? I was booked and he could have said something way before I got there and in the chair, but he didn't and just wanted to embarrass me for whatever reason. I figure he disliked me for all those 5+years, and he saw an opportunity to get me off his schedule. Sorry for this review that is a vent, just hurt. Now that this has happened, I am seeing the negative reviews and people are right, you are just a number. read more

The first time I came here, I got a pedicure here about a month ago and it was $25. The man who did the pedicure was good. He did accidentally poked me once, but other than that everything was great. Everyone was friendly. They offered me water and they give a discount when you pay cash. I will definitely will be back. However, they need to work on their gel manicures. I was taken in immediately as a walk-in without any comments about being busy or anything. They kept leaving me for appointments that walked in. I was there for almost 3 entire hours for a basic manicure and pedicure and eyebrow wax. The eyebrow wax seemed ok at first but it burned when they put some kind of cooling lotion on. Let me just start by saying when you first arrive it looks very nice, clean and put together. My sister and I realized As time went on you start to get pissed because literally they cut your toes right up in your pedicure process as well as a Manicure. When i asked for 4 different colored gels on my fingers I was told it was $1 a color , then I would have to pay $5 if I wanted them coffin shaped even tho my nails are very short .. opted out to one color and square lol. My biggest issue was my toe nails were cut super short and some uneven. As well ass my finger nails. THEN to top it off. When it became time to pay the woman who seemed to be the owner was just throwing numbers around adding them up .. We ended up paying $175 for two full sets w gel and gel pedicures .. when I asked for a brochure to see why it would cost so much as my sister and I get way more extravagant nails for a lower price the woman became very rude and loud. Not happy! Furious actually. I have been going here for years and, while it was never the best, it was convenient. That is until the owner accuses you of stealing! I was there with my mother and sister today and paid for myself and my mother. These were two seperate transactions. After paying my bill, my mother's pedicure was completed about 10 minutes later. I payed her bill and then my mom said she had a gift card. Withing 3 minutes, I told the woman that I actually had a gift card and that I would need the money back that I just paid. She was confused and said that I had only paid for my pedicure. After some time, she finally gave me my money back and said she needed to check the cameras. I was like what? Is she serious? She has seen me in her establishment many times and decided to accuse a loyal customer of being a thief? How infuriating. I will absolutely never return here. She actually called me and said the cameras only show me coming to the counter twice, so again she accused me of being a thief. She even said she has witnesses!! She clearly did not check the cameras and instead decided to disrespect a loyal customer who was trying to have a nice and relaxing day with my sister and elderly mother. Please do not spend your hard earned money at this place. Horrible owner. Horrible customer service. There are so many wonderful salons in the area. This woman does not deserve your money. read more

Really terrible service. She made my nails crooked. I had to keep asking her to fix my nails because some of them were longer than the other ones and then I told her that I wanted them to be more Straight, this is what I ended up with. Then she tried to tip herself at the end and wouldn't give me my money when I asked for my change back. It cost me $50 for these nails and then she tried to tip her self on top of that. I ended up tipping her $7 because she only gave me $3 back when i asked for my change. I'll never be coming here again. I gave this a try recently and was underwhelmed. The interior is nice however I found the two TV's going at the same time with two different channels running distracting. In addition, the employees not working with a client were lounging and on their cell phones in the customer stations. They have plastic covers inside the pedi bins which may be good for cleanliness however I felt like I was soaking in a large garbage bag. Posh in Route 38 has hard plastic bins which I found to be unnoticeable. The Pedi....I decided to upgrade to one of their options which includes a scrub, callus removal, hot stone. I don't recall receiving any type of callus removal. Selected the lavender scent for lotion and she used a small packet of lotion barely enough for one keg. She used the hot stone at the end for approximately one minute on each leg. In the end, I felt like I had a basic pedicure and paid for the upgrade. If you want a wonderful, relaxing pedi with great products and service, go to Posh on Route 38 or Tiffany's on Route 70. Tiffany's has an awesome callus peel. read more

Went today for a fill and gel topcoat. My nails are filed poorly. Some are fine and others are lopsided. Some are very think too. I'm very picky and I find it very hard to communicate with some of the operators which could be the problem. The biggest no no is that they speak to each other in their native language which is annoying. Don't have them do a design. They are not artistic at all. I guess I haven't found my new nail place yet. I am now stuck for two weeks with a design that was supposed to be a beautiful tree branch with flowers (gave her a picture which she assured me she could do) but got something that my kids say looks like Indian feathers. Don't do designs if you can't paint. Back to Akoi I go. It's a little further from me but even though they are Asian they only speak English which is very respectable. First time here for a mani and pedi for me and my 12yo daughter. Nail tech was assigned and asked if I wanted gel manicure I said no thanks she offered me gel nail manicure I again declined. During pedicure it felt rushed and no attention to how each nail was filed/cut to different lengths. During manicure a wave of customers entered and my nail tech abruptly left me to attend to another customer (no appt). The nail tech who took over began to laugh and talk with the other staff as if I wasn't there! I did change my nail polish choice and she seemed annoyed. Then the previous nail tech walked by and loudly exclaimed you changed your nail color again! I selected a pale pink and it could barely be seen so changed to different shade of pink that she polished right over top. If I am a paying customer my color choice is my prerogative. After the tech polished me she said " ok have fun" and didn't carry my purse or cell phone to the drying station! I carried my things over and was asked if I was paying for both myself and daughter. I proceeded to sit down to dry without responding. As I was getting my card out to pay I chipped my nail and asked to have it fixed. She polished over the nail and it left a divid. My nails look good. Which is why it got 4 stars. The final product came out worthy of that much. The experience however rates more 2-3 stars. I was a walk in during what seemed like a busy time which I understand. I would have gladly waited. However, they took me right away but I had about 20 seconds to pick a color (thankfully I came with a picture because they are for a wedding) and then my "treat your self" "little bit of relaxation time" was completely rushed. What they have to understand is giving exceptional customer service especially now that people are trying to get out after the pandemic. They only lasted a little over 10 days before they started breaking and crumbling off with very little effort.
