We negotiated a group rate for our group enjoying some of the local sites, eats, and treats. The company was very friendly and ways to work with in setting up a group rate that included tip, which made things very easy for the group. When we came in, the staff were all very friendly. Yes, few of them spoke English, but all tried their best in communicating, offering us hot tea, and determining if we had any individual preferences. My lady was very nice, and offered a great, relaxing scalp and shoulder massage. The foot/leg massage was perfect after a weekend of snowboarding. My husband was part of the group and remarked that he had enjoyed the entire experience. Several of the ladies in the group pointed out that it was the perfect respite in the middle of our busy day. I gave it a 5/5 after reading the other reviews because I think it's reasonable to have realistic expectations, it's not a fancy Burke Williams, you're paying very basic rates to a franchise, and the employees are subsisting on their tips. For the type of place they are, they did a fantastic job. If you want something fancier, this may not be a good fit. Overall, our group was very happy in terms of both price and service. We have been coming here for years. Today, we came back for 3 foot massages. The massage was great, but when we went to pay for our massage, we were told there was a minimum mandatory tip of no less than 10.00. We have always given a generous tip. But today, we are paying with cash and did not want to put it on a credit card. There is nowhere that states there is a mandatory tip or that the tip cannot be less than 10.00. If they had not been so rude about us not having the extra cash for the tip. We would have considered putting the service on a credit card and giving them a full cash tip. They would not sign when we asked them to sign our loyalty card. Walked away and said the manager wasn't there. Coco and Amy were the two women there we were speaking to. After the quality of care today, we are truly considering not returning here. This is very unfortunate since we have been coming here for years. We still ended up leaving them a tip before we left. Came here for a massage and they recommended cupping therapy so I went ahead and got that for an additional $20. It was all good until I left the place and saw my skin had these gross blisters because they had left the cups on too long in some areas. The masseuse definitely saw it and didn't let me know. I didn't know since it was in my back, until I got in the car and my husband told me it was all blistered. Needless to say, I won't be back. Don't go to these places that have zero training and you don't know what you're getting. Why risk it? read more

I have my regular massage place I go to but I was in temple city and needed to kill some time so I walked in here. I chose 90 min : 60 min feet 30 min body massage. The place was empty, I had my massage with the man and it was good, not great but good considering I just needed to spend some time out of the 115 degree heat. half of the massage is out in the open and the body portion is a private room, don't know if it's because he's a man but that's how it was. I tip based on the amount of price & service so I said $8 on $55 and the man was shocked and frozen. I don't know if shocked is the right word but he was definitely bothered and said $15, which was his way of suggesting what I actually tip him. I've been to places like this before. Where they're not great, not busy and expect the few ppl that walk in to make up their wage. I didn't argue, I said ok but it's not ok for you to haggle with your English speaking customers and not your other customers. Won't be returning. read more

Don't ever come to this place! I'm going to file a complaint on BBB. First of all just to FYI, their one hour massage is $35 now which is different from the price on Yelp. I do not mind the price at all. What threw me off is when they asked for a MANDATORY $10 tip! Originally I was going to give $8 (a little over 22% tip) which is more like a courtesy tip considering the LOW quality of the massage. I have never encountered such shameful business manners. Worst case scenario, you should've told your customers beforehand. Customer should be notified of what they getting themselves into before they accept the price for your services if you were going to charge a "never-heard-of" FIXED tip which is over 28%. I would give 0 star if I could! Now let's talk about the massage. I've gotten massages all over the places in LA and OC and also in other states and countries this is by far the worst massage experience. The lady who worked on me is definitely not licensed because her method of massaging (I had the deep tissue)is very off and she never really hit any "right" spots that a regular masseuse would hit. So the whole time I was feeling that she was getting close to work on a knot but then somehow she just missed them. It was a total rubdown! If this was a food tasting experience I would use the word "bland" if you get what I mean. And last but not the least, the lady must've put her feet or knees on the bed by my head when she worked on my lower back, there was a strong terrible disgusting smell coming from the feet. The place itself is small but it's very clean. Its not all loud like some if the asian massage places ive tried. I got the combo 1 and the lady that was working on me was very nice, she didnt use her elbow much which is a plus. I think she went to the bathroom in the middle of our session and my session was supposed to be 1 hour and 10 minutes and when i was dressed and ready to pay, it hit the 1 hour mark so i definitely got ripped for some time plus the time she went to the restroom. I was at this place today 3/15/22 The guy doing the massage was great, very little spoken English at this place so hard to communicate clearly. Unfortunately at the moment I was ready to pay I handed cash a good tip to the person who performed the massage, when the asian lady who was handling my credit card at the register suggested that I should give him more, "the work he did is very hard" were her exact word. I found it very awkward as we tip in this country for the good quality of service rendered to us and not becasue if the work is easy or hard. Would I not tip if the work is not hard but the service is good? I don't think so..tip.is always welcome but should never be demanded specially if you are already being generous. This definitely made me to be the first and last visit to "Happy Feet" there are other places most definitely to go. Get CICI if you want the LAZIEST RUBDOWN OF LIFE. My aging nana could have done a better job, for I would feel the love at least. Such a heavy-handed, lazy lady. Lack of skill is one thing, but such brazen disregard for a paying customer is so appalling. Why do I say this? The highlights: The arms part---she pulled my arms up but not at all enough to stretch it, just put it up quickly. It felt stupid. Foot part---my FAVORITE---she was only using 1 hand during this part. Guess what the other hand was doing? On her freaking phone, which was vibrating close to my feet. Mind you, she spent the half of my hour on my feet. Ugh! Her 1 working hand was doing lazy up and down motions on my leg, even pausing mid-rub to text, AND to take a personal whispery call. I was so bothered as I kept looking down to see what she was doing that I ended up with my head actually spinning so much that I felt sick. No lie. The back part--- putting her weight on me just in different places. That was pretty much the whole routine. Wow. To top it all off, I was outside when i looked at my watch to see that it was still 10mins before my hour would have been up. Talk about a nightmare. I know it's not fair to rate the whole place by this one experience but man, was it BAD. Nice decor, but the noise from nonstop chatter and cars on the blvd absolutely drowned out the already-low music. Not relaxing. Try this place if you want but steer clear of Cici. I was here Mon Sep 23 and I was worked on by Cissy! The place is pretty big and cleanwith lounge chairs specifically for your foot and head massage. They soak your feet with a blue water that feels great and have your lie down as they massage your head. Then they move you to a little private room where they give you a back massage and a hot stone massage! Fantastic! The price was $30. I felt great after and will be returning! read more

Today both my wife and I had one of the worst massages of our lives. We both don't recommend this place to anybody. I had two massage therapists help me because during my massage the first just sucked so bad like she didn't know what she was doing. Then the second one came I thought this guy would be good but he sucked too. All these people do is just push and then when they're tired of pushing they put oil all over you and they use they're elbow and they swim all over your back with whatever motions they can come up with. They just make it up on the fly, and they just keep using that oil because it's free. Then when they get bored of doing whatever they think is right they get these hot stone and try to do the same. You get the drift? I would like our money back because they simply sucked and they had no clue how to massage. read more

I love a good cheap massage. If I want to pay top dollar, I'm typically getting a deep tissue but if I want to actually enjoy my massage, I'll go to a place like there where it's $20 a hour. I had a gentleman do the foot massage special. He applied a lot of tension in areas like neck and shoulders and also even lightly cracked my neck (which I loved). I would give it a higher star but when he was near my head, he smelled like cigarette smoke. I can't expect much for paying such a deal. read more

I have been coming to this place since they moved here a year ago. ( previous owner sold it and the current team moved here from San Gabriel and kept the existing name). Place is clean and relaxing. Lucy is really good so is Grace. I normally do an hour and half ( price went up to $60 in 2019) and all my aches just melt away. BTW in response to the post about $10 tip on a $35 massage - it's customary to tip massage therapists over the 15-20% restaurant standard. It's hard labor and they certainly deserve a higher tip than a server bringing your plates or pouring you a glass of wine. read more

It was our first time visiting this place so they asked if we wanted body massage for $30 & we agreed even though we originally just wanted foot massage. The owner is nice and facility is clean. The owner gave me the hardest and painful massage. She said I'll be in pain but will feel better. No that's not what massage should be. During my massage session she kept running to do her business on my massage time. That's not cool. Her worker wanted to ask questions but she didn't know how so she assumed we're Vietnamese and I ended up explaining to her in Mandarin that we're not Vietnamese. My group came here around 9 in the evening thinking we still had enough time for a 1 hr massage. we were surprised that they didn't have any masseuse available even though they only had like 3 clients being serviced. I appreciated the fact that they called someone over and they only made us wait 10 minutes. That is where the appreciation ends. We all thought their 1 hr foot massage should only cost about $15 plus tips since that was what fellow yelpers suggested. It actually costs 20 and I can say with confidence that I've had better experiences from other places. I wasn't even asked if the pressure applied was ok or not. I don't remember smelling any aromatic oils or lotions used so that's kind of a let down for me. i believe they soaked my feet in a bucket of warm, unscented water at the start of the session and did dry massages all over my body prior to the foot massage. After the masseuse was done with me he didn't even bother to offer me tea while the one beside me who finished only seconds earlier was offered some. Over all, by the end of the session we all wished we tried somewhere else. I wouldn't come back here ever. read more

Unfortunately, I just had a very upsetting experience here. My party and I, three of us, arrive an hour before closing, and we waited approx 30 minutes. No one greeted us, or gave us an update on when we would be receiving out massages. So, as time passed, they sat the 3 of us, and we waiting about 5 minutes before they told us that they didn't have enough masseurs for us and to come back tomorrow. What upsets me the most is they probably knew when we walked in that they didn't have enough masseurs and still had us wait. Very disappointed in the customer service we just received.. read more

Great place, let me start by saying that the photos on here all a little out dated as there has been lots of renovations and the over all look has changed. The service is kind and very thorough. Every one is nice and very professional and when you stand up it's like you have new feet. It's crazy how good they are. Went in for a foot massage but ended up with a full body massage. Masseuse Sally was good. For a small person I wasn't expecting much strength but I was wrong. The pressure was good for my back, shoulder, and neck. Overall setting was nice except the noise. I could hear the customer in the room next to me who was talking way to much while i was getting my massage done. They had a dryer in back which I could heard the clink and clump noise spinning around. I have been coming here for massage. The lady who gave me massages no longer works there. I had other massage therapist who helped me out. The massage continue to be good. However, the other therapists continuously cutting 5 minutes short in both full-body or foot massage. I gave them a few chances to see if there would be a change; however, this was consistently 5 minutes short. My tip was not bad as I have been tipping them $10 for a 1 hour massage. This place defines "hole-in-the-wall"! Happy Feet Round? What makes it round? Why not a square? I'm confused with the name of this place. However, it doesn't take away from the quality service! Warning: This review is for Linda and Tina only. They are the reason why I am a returning customer. Please note that there is some truth to the phrase "hit or miss" when speaking on behalf of massage parlors in SGV. I've had a couple terrible experiences at this place with other masseuses so be mindful that your experience will correlate with the person you choose to massage you. With that said, my experiences with Tina and Linda have been nothing short of relaxing. They are both highly skilled and apply the right amount of pressure at the right places. The experience starts off with a foot soak while the masseuse massages your scalp and face. Then they work their magic on your arms, legs, and back for a full 60 minutes. Y'all, this is called a "Foot Massage"! During my massages, I get so relaxed that I usually drift off to Stage 1 sleep (alpha waves!) by the time the masseuse works on my back. Other days, I drift off after 10 minutes when they work out the kinks in my neck. Tina and Linda are both so sweet, accommodating, and talented. Great foot massage! Lots of focus on head, feet, and back. Ambiance was nice! Soft music, nice decor, and staff isn't chatty or distracted. Was suffering a migraine and the foot massage did the trick. $20 can't be beat. I did leave with a stiff lower back but I came in with that and they're not miracle workers. Pressure was good and I expect my lower back to loosen up with the work they did. Especially loved that I called and they had space to take me, no appointment necessary.
