Alex, the owner, was a pleasure from start to finish. From calling ahead of time and speaking with him on the phone, to communicating issues with my car, to check out. I liked how other maintenance that needed to be done were presented to me in a clear manner, without feeling pushed. It was estimated the repairs would be done around 2:30pm but called at 1pm that it was finished so not only done in a timely manner but didn't forget to call me (past mechanics have done that to me where all day will go by waiting for a call until I have to call them and it drives me crazy!) Issues were connected to my air conditioner and had a 3.5 hour drive ahead of me; had AC on the whole way and didn't run into the same problems. Car was making a strange noise noise and I took it in here for the first time. I had thought something was wrong with the transmission but the experienced technician Eric soon diagnosed this as a wheel bearing problem. Some shops might have gone along with the transmission problem to sell a much more expensive bogus repair. The repair was completed same day as promised at a fair price and they also did an inspection evaluation of recommended service for the vehicle with cost estimates but not any upselling pressure. My vehicle (2016 BMW 3 series) had overheating warnings so I had it towed in and this shop confirmed the reason which was a faulty sensor. They were honest about the time it would take to get looked at. The vehicle is working well and several drives later everything is still tip top. When I was about to drive away however, I noticed my vehicle had a lot of dust on it as well as scratches all over the exterior. I asked Alex to come take a look at the scratches but he didn't seem convinced it was anything that happened while my car was at his shop. The scratches seem like they'll buff out at least. I had a bad coolant sensor which they replaced as well as a coolant fluid flush and replacement. The job totaled $528 after parts, labor, taxes, and additional fees. They recommended 8 other jobs which were mostly irrelevant to what I came in for and would've run me several thousand dollars in additional spending. Unwary customer beware because those are disguised as deficiencies on your inspection report. read more

I choose Happy Karz after reading Yelp reviews and they could not have been more wrong. This place it's dishonest, will over charge you for things you don't need, and their poor inspection may leave you in a dangerous position. I took a 2019 challenger in to address a creaking sound coming from the suspension. Grok determined with 90% accuracy the issue to be a failed sway bar bushing. I told that to the folks at Happy Karz but they didn't care. After "looking" at my car, I was presented with a $1300 quote for new shocks. Having done a bounce test myself, and with the info from grok, I decided to pass. When I uploaded my quote to grok it concurred that happy Karz was trying to rip me off. THEN, I noticed a brand new noise. When I called happy Karz to inquire about the new noise I was told by the owner Alex that they had not even taken my wheel off. I'm not sure how good of a diagnosis you can make about struts and brakes without taking off the wheel. So, I took it to Lee Martin Automotive and they confirmed the problem to be the sway bar bushing, and quoted me $400. They were "unsure" why happy Karz determined I need struts as they were in great condition. HOWEVER, I learned the drive shaft was cracked - something happy Karz should've noticed but they didn't, instead trying to rob me, and send me in my way with no thought of my safety and the cracked drive shaft they missed during their five second inspection. Excellent quality auto repairs, at an honest, reasonable rate. I had my drivers side door handle break. The RAM dealer wanted me to leave my truck "for 4-5 days until we can get to it". I contacted Happy H Karz, and Fernando got back with me the same day. I brought my truck over there, left it for several hours and they dismantled the door panes to find that a cable had snapped. I am so glad I did. They did really nice work, keeping it clean and treating the classic with the respect it deserves. They did the work the way you would do it yourself, on your own car (clean, tidy, finished properly). They don't cut corners to rush the job, and it works properly. This is the shop I've been looking for! I cannot say enough good things about the guys at Happy H Karz! Took our car in with an A/C issue and were told they were 90% certain it was a bad compressor. They ran an electrical diagnostic "just to be safe". Unfortunately, it was a bad compressor. They had the part in stock and had it fixed the same day...an hour earlier than they promised! Everyone I saw was polite. I hung out with Fernando for the entire morning. He explained what work they would do if it was the compressor or just the freon. Once they realized that it was the compressor, Alex explained everything that was happening and gave me a true estimate. They also checked out the entire car and made recommendations as to what services we should plan for. Mostly fluid changes but noted that we needed new wiper blades and actually gave a percentage of wear the brakes had! No pressure, just facts. All charges are transparent. They are very affordable, too, which is a huge bonus!! Everyone talks about the clean lobby but it's so much more than that. It's inviting. The couches are ridiculously comfortable, the TV is at a manageable volume, the A/C is just right. Had I had a blanket I would probably still be asleep there. HIGHLY recommend!! read more

brought my 99 tacoma to fix AC blowing hot air. I thought it was a bad compressor and needed to be replaced, but after they ran their diagnostics it turned out that it had no freon. they did an evacuate, vacuum, and recharge with freon and added a UV dye to see if there is a leak. I was in and out in less than 1-1/2 hrs. They explained everything to me in detail and were super friendly. Nice to have cold air blowing out again especially in this summer heat. read more
