Our realtor recommended her and she as very thorough. It did take an hour or two but she checked every little thing and made detailed reports. She even gave us progress updates every time she moved from different levels of the home and outside to inside. At the end we all sat down and she went over the big items and was able to answer all the questions we had. Very impressive and she was super nice! Jennifer is the best in the business, I have no doubt. She was a complete pro on the job, and was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on our 112 year old house. She spotted knob and tube wiring hiding deep into the basement, identified electrical and plumbing code issues that were almost hidden, but she caught them. She was very kind and offered good advice on efficient energy options for our situation. The software she uses for inspection is straightforward but extremely thorough. Beyond efficient, professional, timely, communicative, flexible and honest Jen is a kind, warm-hearted and enthusiastic about her work. We were charmed by her relationship to horses, that she sub-contracts the mold inspection to Dog-Gone Mold, and they bring a real Beagle, and she had her eye out for the woodpecker who had done some some sculpting on our new porch. Overall, in this wild and unruly world of home buying, we felt super lucky to even get the go ahead for an inspection. And although items were identified, they were not enough to send us running, and instead we have a very clear "to-do" list that is itemized, connected to information about how to remediate the problems, and connections to contractors. If you are buying a house and must purchase without an inspection, I'd highly recommend Jen, post-purchase, so you can get the thorough report, and easy to follow suggestions of how to build a better house than the one you bought. read more

Jennifer was careful, thoughtful and incredibly thorough. I think that there is a big difference between an adequate inspection and a extraordinary inspection. Jennifer provides the latter. She crawled in tight spaces and looked at the water leaks. Every single GCFI plug problem was noted and this house had plenty. I would recommend her highly. read more
