They were able to quickly come out - even during a hectic, busy season with lots of homes experiencing frozen pipes. I got a text before the plumber came with the name of the employee who would be coming which was nice. Don showed up on time and patiently explained what he discovered was the issue to my husband who was out of town and on speaker phone. Don was able to fix the issue , and ensured that our major faucet (kitchen) was working before he left , even though this wasn't the faucet that had been repaired. On top of a great job with fair prices , Don was polite, funny and helped ensured all baby gates were closed when going from upstairs/ downstairs several time to keep my toddler safe. I had to write this review. Plumbing Plus just left our house and I had such a good experience with…read morethem they deserve this review. I was very frustrated trying to find someone to repair our outside water hydrant because it required cutting through drywall in our basement to get to the water line. Another plumber had told us it was located in a different spot in the basement and recommended we just make it nonfunctional outside, which we did. For his visit (and inaccurate diagnosis with a camera--I do think this other plumber was well-intentioned he just didn't know what he was talking about) he charged us $100 and told us if we decided to fix it by cutting through drywall it would cost $698. I didn't go with him because he said he couldn't be responsible for any structural damage if it occurred (He thought he had to go through a joist.) Based on this information, I told Plumbing Plus the situation and over the phone they bid $280 to fix it. This morning they came out and found that the faucet access was in a different spot. They found exactly where it was and cut through the drywall in that spot., fixed it in less time (probably 30 minutes or so) and only charged me $135. Prior to this, they also sent me proof of licensure and insurance. They said they'd be here at 8 am and they were actually here exactly at 8 am. I've never had that happen. I'm so thrilled because I find it so hard to find honest contractors who know what they are doing. These guys do. The plumber's name was Mark Chadwick. Thank you, thank you!!! By the way, you'll need to find someone else to fix the drywall. Plumbers don't do this, but at least now you know who to call for your plumbing.

RIDICULOUS PRICING! Called for a service on A/C unit that wasn't cooling. Tech showed up and…read morewithin 30 seconds knew it was a bad capacitor on the outdoor unit. Charged $99 just to come out, $337 to replace the capacitor. Contacted the service manager who told me the labor was $149 (took him less than 10 minutes) which means I paid $188 for the capacitor, which the service manager told me was an $80 part but I found the identical part on Amazon for $18.10. Quite the mark up!!! All he could say was "industry standard"... They lost me as a customer, and they are the ones I had install the entire system.
