We went here several times and found the quality of food to not be good. And it made us sick.

This place has the best chinese food i've ever had, i always recommend it to friends when they are looking for good Chinese takeout. I mobile order from my house and by the time i drive here (about 5 minutes) the food is ready! And delicious!!! Small family business and they are very nice and friendly. My personal favorites are the lo mein and chef's specialty sesame chicken combo. I am now in college out of state and have been for 4 years, but I used to go here regularly in HS, and every time i come home this is a no brainer for dinner at least once while i'm home! read more

One of regular takeout options, I particularly enjoy mainstay items like the Fried Rice, Lo Mein, won ton soup, egg rolls and General Tao's chicken. Some dishes like the Lemon Chicken can be a little hit or miss. I've had when it's excellent and when it's not quite right. The Beef and Broccoli can be a similar hit or miss experience. Spring rolls, fried rice, General Tso's chicken... all delicious. A walk-up takeout order only took them ~12 minutes to prepare, as promised. I suggest picking up some duck sauce for the rolls and some soy sauce for the fried rice. Condiments during Covid 19 are right up at the pick-up window. Friendly and professional service. read more

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Came fast yet the pork in the several pork dishes were raw and the Szechuan beef tastes funny. We ordered about an hour ago and my stomach is on the fritz. Happy House is the best around. Very surprised about all of the negative comments. Wendy who works the phones for the family business is one of the sweetest people around. Their food was pretty good... it's super close to Marsh Creek so we just took it there to eat. The inside of the shop was very cute and seemed nice to sit in. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because we ordered over the phone and the woman I talked to said I could get sweet and sour sauce on the table, but when I picked up my food, there was no sweet and sour sauce. I asked and she said I had to pay for it. I wish that was more straightforward from the beginning. read more

First and last time for this place. I ordered the beef and broccoli with a spring roll. The meat was fatty/bland and not much sauce either. The spring roll was typical, nothing great. Overall the food lacked seasoning, but the prices are good. I'll keep looking for a better Chinese takeout. read more

I live nearby and have eaten there often. Quick service, take-out and delivery. Food is good and inexpensive. Exactly what you should expect of a Chinese takeout with a $6 lunch deal. I've grown rather fond of the Kung Pao Chicken. You can ask for extra spicy. I've never had a problem with the attitudes of the staff. I'm a regular at this restaurant and I think it's a great place for just overall takeout lunch or dinner. Definitely the best place for Chinese food in the area, since I'm local, I think I can easily say that. I haven't tried many different types of dishes, but the General Tso's Chicken and shrimp friend rice is the best, my personal favorites. When I got there the woman behind the desk was on the phone taking an order. She asked "what you say!??" Loudly and then "oh 50 minutes". The person must have said "15 minutes or 50" cause she yelled "50! Of course 50!" In a rude angry manner. I almost left. Wish I had. Service was fine but food was awful. Never will go back. We order take out from Happy House frequently - it's always quick, fresh and hot. Have tried other Chinese in the area - not as good as HH. They use all white meat chicken in their chicken dishes - beef is lean and tender. Always plenty of left overs too. A good bargain for a quick meal. read more

Happy house is absolutely my favorite Chinese place and after a recent awful experience elsewhere I won't be straying ever again. Food is always made fresh extremely quickly, staff is super friendly and the location is very convenient. My boyfriend and I tried this for the first time tonight. We like really basic Chinese food, mostly because it's pretty consistent across the board. We ordered fried rice, general tsos chicken, crab rangoon, and chicken lo mein. The fried rice, while overloaded with onions, was pretty good, as was the crab rangoon. The general tsos chicken was mediocre. The bites were a little chewy, but the flavor was good. The lo mein, however, I found difficult to eat. The noodles were mushy and the texture was completely unappealing. It was also completely lacking in flavor. This was really the deal breaker for me. Overall, a very mediocre experience. We will probably try somewhere new before we return here. read more

The last two experiences that we had with this place were absolutely worst. Tonight, they have gotten 3/4 of our order wrong, even though we double checked. The time before then, the delivery took 2 hours even though it takes 30 minutes (that's including preparing the meal etc.). i will never order from here again. read more

I work from home and order my sushi here almost every day for lunch. Although their specialty is Chinese food, their sushi is quite fresh and tasty. These guys are super friendly and will make you custom rolls if you can describe what you're looking for! I've been to 3 or 4 different local take-out places for sushi and this one is the best. read more

We used to love this place. Tonight dinner was, at best, disappointing. Not enough garlic to have taste to the shrimp in garlic sauce. The seafood club had fake seafood and less taste than an actual club. Definitely the last time we order there until they learn how to make decent food. read more

We ordered food last Friday from the happy house, my husband wanted something spicy, so we ordered beef with red pepper next to it, it was easy to order on-line and it was delivered quickly, but food was disgusting, vegetables were overcooked and looked dead, beef was not only not spicy, it was unseasoned and bland, never again I will order my food from this place. read more
