Ordered out from here on a Tuesday as our usual spot is closed on Tuesdays and having tried at least three other local cheap Chinese takeout places and been disappointed, we thought we would give Super Wok a go. We ordered by phone and got pleasant service and our order was ready at the appointed time. The food here that's marked spicy seems a bit spicier than their Chester County counterparts, in a good way. The Kung Pao chicken is the best we have had in this area. We wet surprised to find mushrooms in it and the sauce a bit thinner than we would have expected but still flavorful. We also ordered the General Tso's chicken which was a bit sweet and came without the usual few florets of broccoli. The chicken with garlic sauce was also pleasantly spicy. We also tasted the pork fried rice and the egg rolls. Both were good, but not exceptional. The standout here were the fried dumplings which seemed to be homemade and I would return for these. A solid meal, decent prices, plenty of parking and worth a return trip. read more

I hadn't eaten their food in about ten years. I tried it right after the "new" owners bought the place, but the food was disappointing. Then last week I read a few reviews that were very positive, so today I decided to give it another try. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup, House Chow Mei Fun, and Beef with Snow Peas. All were very good. The soup was tasty and not too peppery. It would have been more authentic with "Clouds Ears" wood mushrooms instead of white button mushrooms, but it was tasty. The Mei Fun was a huge portion and it was especially tasty with pieces of sweet celery, pork, chicken, shrimp, bamboo shots and noodles. The beef with snow peas was also very good with a tasty brown sauce. I can't wait to try some of the other dishes on their menu. read more

I honestly don't know why this business has 3 stars. For take out Chinese it's really really good. I love their lo mein the best- it's not super greasy and has a lot of flavor. Their wonton soup is perfect for cold days and "cold" days. My kids love their chicken and broccoli and shrimp fried rice as well. Our order is always correct and until finding super wok- I maybe ordered Chinese 1-2 times a year. Their menu is priced well and the quality is just as good if not better than some more expensive joints in the area. read more

Perfectly serviceable Chinese in a convenient location (113 between Phoenixville and Exton). Wonton soup was very good and the noodles that accompanied it were fresh. Szechuan beef was also very good and, most importantly, when I requsted "extra spicy" I did, in fact, receive *extra spicy*. Efficient and fine customer service at pickup. This has been our go-to Chinese take out for years. The food quality went from excellent to fair, but recently it has been phenomenal. Not sure if there are new people running it or a different chef, but in the past month, the food has been better than ever. One suggestion...the sweet and sour chicken is delicious. Large pieces of white meat chicken, delicious coating. It would be nice to have some pineapple, peppers, etc in the sauce. The sauce is very tasty, but it would be better if it wasn't just plain without any fruit or veggies. read more

Super wok has the most delicious Chinese food. It is our favorite! We orders the crab rangoons. Delish! Crispy, not oily at all, and flavorful. The wonton soup is so flavorful and fresh. Chicken and broccoli was prepared perfectly- chicken was moist and broccoli perfectly cooked. The general Tso chicken was also awesome, as well as the vegetable fried rice. Been here twice now, both times have been EXCELLENT. We have gotten the General Tsos Chicken, Veggie Lo Mein, crab rangoon and the Chicken w/broccoli and all have been fantastic. Prices are just a little high, and they don't offer delivery, but you get a TON of food which makes it well worth it. We have looked all over Exton, thorndale, chester springs, etc and this place is by far the best. Don't waste your time going anywhere else, just go here first. You wont be disappointed. read more

Wow! Just moved to the area and I wasn't sure about ordering take-out from a strip mall. Walking in I started thinking my first instinct was right and I should walk out- the place wouldn't win any awards on its appearance- but I'm so glad I ordered despite my reservations. The staff was very friendly and accepted changes to the menu (no cabbage,but snow peas instead, please ) with a smile on their face. We had a ten minute wait and the food was ready. Unpacking the bag, I was pleasantly surprised by the really sturdy packaging and generous portion sizes! I ordered way to much, but we were pleased to have left overs the following day. We used to love the food here. Since the new ownership, we have been more than disappointed. We have tried many times thinking it was just new owners getting used to the business, but the food is bland overall. Last night ordered the triple delight (shrimp/scallops and chicken) it had 4 shrimp and 2 scallops and some chicken. Bland. Even the rice is awful! Not the traditional sticky rice - but very dry. Super Wok used to be the best food around. We started eating here back in 1997 and loved the food and got to know the owners. The business was sold and now the food is inedible! The rice is minute rice in soy sauce, not even fried. How can you mess up fried rice? We gave them a second shot thinking we had an off night and the results were the same. Food that we threw away. After going there for yrs then taking a break to do keto I ordered takeout. Just spring rolls, veggie mei fun and general Tao shrimp. The spring roll were cold inside and burnt on outside. Smelled like old oil at $1.25 a pop. The mei fun noodles disintegrated into tiny pieces with hardly any veggies or flavor. The Shrimp was over cooked in a thick batter. I ordered Mongolian chicken, veggie fried rice and crab fried wontons. Rice was good that's about about it. Pretty expensive for not that good of tasting Chinese food. Sauce for the Mongolian chicken tasted like it was out of a can and generally just bland tasting. The won tons were also bland. No much flavor at all.
