We ordered my longtime favorite--the chocolate malt--along with a vanilla and a strawberry soft-serve in waffle cones. There is simply nothing like these cold, sweet treats on a hot summer day. After visiting and trying ice cream shops all along the East Coast during our vacation, Carl's still stands out as a true gem. The quality, tradition, and experience are every bit as special as I remembered. Thank you for continuing to create memories for generations of families. The interior is very clean, has variety of waffle cones, signature bundles, all ice creams are made in house, you can sample the flavors before ordering ànd I had great service from Justin. I don't know if I had order it with one of the waffle cones, if it would have balanced it out. But it was nice to see Justin incorporate all of the ingredients together on a cold plate.
