We arrived around 4:30 PM, the place was empty, but by the time we left at 6:05 PM, four or five customers had come in, all ordering takeout. Two employees were working. Both were friendly and smiling, but service is strictly counter‑based. Restaurant seating is limited, 10 tables total. Drinks are refrigerated bottles and cans; there's no fountain drinks, cups, or ice. I personally found this very strange. The food is the highlight of Southern Style Chicken & Waffles . The chicken is served piping hot, and the fries are perfectly crispy. One important note: you can't order mixed chicken. It's either white meat or dark meat, so I had to order both platters and my father and I switched chicken around to get what we wanted. Meals come with one side, and extras are $4.99 each. Chicken orders start at three pieces, no smaller portions available. As for sides, the mac & cheese wasn't my favorite, though other's , including the guy, selling it, seemed to think it was great. My dad found the coleslaw just "so‑so" and said he would not order it again. Ratings: * Chicken: A+ * French fries: A+ * Mac & cheese: B‑ * Coleslaw: C+ Overall, the chicken and fries are excellent, and I plan to return to try their catfish, whiting and waffles, which I've heard are all very good. The restaurant and rest room were pretty clean - pretty good for a Waffle House. The prices were pretty standard compared to other Waffle Houses. Be a bit cautious driving through the parking lot, because there were quite a few potholes. Also, this location only does to-go orders from 11pm to 6am (as of Jan 2025). Since there are plenty of Waffle Housed along I-95, perhaps I'll visit another one in the near future.
