They're a great hidden gem! I came in and needed a pedicure and a fill-in on a shoddy full set. I was greeted with a smile and a bottle of water. As for the fill-in She thinned out the thick powder from the other place and it looked perfect! I got gel too which looked fabulous. Pedicures are spot on! They spend time with you and are very nice. I was a loyal patron of another local nail salon and had a few bad experiences to cause me to look elsewhere and....Wow, what I was missing I found at Happy Nails with Miss Vivian! My first and every appointment, she takes her time and always delivers beautiful, quality work. Her shop is exceptionally clean, her demeanor is caring and positive no matter what time of day I pop in. I have actually developed a very nice connection with Vivian, who is the owner and her staff. In fact, I get hugs when I leave if they are not too busy! This experience and every time I visit this shop I feel so much better when I leave.. My skin glows as the facials are affordable and sooooo relaxing and my nails...always perfect! This salon is very clean. The experience was really nice and my nails didn't chip/crack for almost 2 weeks, not shellac! The prices are great too. They are closed on Tuesdays and I suggest making an appointment if you don't want to risk waiting, they don't have a lot of employees. read more

Just don't! I have been getting SNS nails for many years at another shop but after a move I thought it was a bit too far to go. Happy Nail was the worst I have ever gotten. The SNS started chipping off after two days. Never have I had that happen before. Lilly was the SNS technician and I also got a pedicure. The pedicure chairs were old mismatched and obviously second hand. The seats were so uncomfortable. There were two SNS technicians Lilly and the owner Vincent and one pedicure lady. When my mom and I first walked in there was one customer and all three of them were around her. They got tHe pedicure chairs ready for us and we sat in those chairs for the majority of the Four hours we were in that shop. A couple of other customers came in and Vincent was waiting on two at a time a left Lilly to complete our services. Lilly finally moved me to her station to complete the SNS. She was slow and methodical leaving me to believe this might be a good shop. Also I should mention "gentle" does not seem be a word they understand. I went back in after two days to get resolved why my nails broke so quickly. At first they only wanted to replace the broken three but I knew if one completely came off and the others chipped all needed to be replaced. Vincent the owner agreed to replace all the nails after a bit of discussion with French manicure SNS. Vincent speaks good English and I know he understood when I asked him to be gentle and not use the grinder on my nails but rather a soft pad. I had to pull my hand back and tell him he was hurting me three times. Now Already after 5 days I have had one chip. They guarantee the SNS will last one month. I will NOT be going back. I cannot recommend this shop at all. If you like old equipment poorly trained staff and up selling every time you go in then this is the shop for you. As for me I will spend my hard earned $'s elsewhere. read more

Highly recommend their pedicure service, which includes double massages with exfoliating sugar scrub and lotion. What brings more the feelings of being pampered? That being said, the salon deserves a booming business, as there is no place else in Gwinnett county that offers such quality service with a warm and friendly staff. Manicures and pedicures are done with care - and the shop is so clean, you could eat off the floors! Prices are reasonable and since most of the shopping center is unoccupied, parking is easy. The only negative, as other reviewers have stated, is that there are only 3 employees. Unless you call in advance, you may have to wait. I love this place. Went there about a month ago after reading reviews on Yelp. I live about 1/2 mile from there, had gone to Capri Nails by Publix for years. Capri is great but always noisy and hectic. Everything you read on these reviews of Happy Nails on Yelp is true and then some. Friendly, calm, relaxing, professional, courteous, etc. Etc. Wow! First time customer and will definitely be a repeat. Went in today around 1045 as a walk in hoping for a mani/pedi. I was seen right away and then decided I wanted to get pink and whites instead of a mani. No problem at all, walked out a little over an hour later a very happy customer. Both ladies were very professional and took their time. The pedicure was so relaxing! I took notice of the tools which were brand new(watched them take them out of a new sealed bag). The pink and white process was much quicker than I anticipated and came out really nice! $60 total and def worth it. Facility is very clean and tables,chairs, appliances all very nice and appeared new. The lady who did the pink and whites (I believe she was the owner) reviewed several other services they offer such as eyelash extensions and spa services. We discussed types of products they use and chemicals that she avoids in order to use the safest possible. I was really impressed! This shopping center is usually quiet and empty which was nice for me because I didn't have to wait very long for service. First time at this salon. I'm visiting family in the area and needed a fill and a pedicure which I went on 2 separate visits. The fill was basic but she changed the shape of my nails a little bit which I didn't like. The pedicure is why they get 5 stars! She took her time and made sure she did everything perfectly. I about fell asleep from the extra long massage you get and I only got the classic spa pedicure which is $25! Granted I was the only one in the salon so I'm not sure if they do this all the time. Love this place. Very close to where I live and they are so friendly and priced reasonably! Every time I go somewhere else (such as near my work on lunch) I regret it and make my way back here. I like going here because its very close to where I live and theres never a wait when I go in there. Some salons are always packed so always having to wait can get irritating. I believe it's the owner who does my nails everytime and she is always there and she does a good job on my nails. And im in and out. Initially, I loved coming here. They always do a great job. But, the last 3 times I've gone after they should have been open already, no one was there! The shop was closed. And, I'm not referring to 3 minutes after opening hours. It's been an hour later. I'm very loyal and don't like to move around, but I'm busy like most of us and hate that I can't depend on them to be open when they should be so I think I"m going to have to find some place else to go. read more

I am SO GRATEFUL I found this salon. My husband and I moved here three weeks ago from Queens New York. I do not drive and and when I saw a place I can get my nails done that I could walk to as we live only a half a mile away I was happy. I read all the reviews and will say everyone is TRUE. The salon was eat off the floors clean. The owner was sweet, attentive, friendly, caring. She asked if the water temperature was OK, if she was massaging too hard, was I happy with the color. My point she wanted to be sure I was comfortable and happy. She gave me advice on things to do here. This was a fabulous experience and I told her that it looks like she will be stuck with me for a long long time. What a hard working, caring and patient owner. While I don't know how to do nails it sure would be a great place to work...answering phones, cleaning up...anything... I would love any excuse to spend more time at this great salon.
