I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon and will not be returning. My nail technician told me he would trim all of my cuticles, but he only did two nails and said he would finish the rest later. When the service was almost over, I asked about the remaining cuticles, and he flat-out refused to do them. I was simply asking for the service I was expecting to receive. Because I was uncomfortable with how the situation was being handled, I asked if I could switch to a different nail technician. Instead of handling the request professionally, he called me "crazy as hell." No customer should ever be spoken to that way for asking for the service they're paying for. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, even if there is a disagreement about a service. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon. If you choose to go here, be aware that simply asking for the service you paid for may be met with disrespect rather than professionalism. read more

Me and my best friend visited this salon and no. Her manicure was far longer than she wanted and it wasn't white. It was a transparent milky color. She wanted solid paper white. Not to mention they gave her no chip gel polish instead of the regular when we asked for standard acrylic nails. Now my nails... they are the wrong shape, horribly thick, and started chipping and peeling after a few days when I got the no chip. They are already coming off after a week. I went to this facility to get some relatively simple short acrylic nails done, and the technician was a bit too rough and caused some pain for me when she was filing my nails, which she apologized for in the moment but continued to file the others in the same way. The nails were done very thick, and for the price I paid and the lack of physical labor in my day to day life, I was very disappointed that after my already not good experience whilst getting the nail service, one of the acrylics had already popped off not even 5 full days after I got them. The business owners had an unprofessional response to my review on google, and when I edited mine to address the way they invalidated my experience, they edited theirs (which cannot be seen by anyone reading the reviews) to a more professional reply yet also stated that they "carefully" reviewed records and believe I confused their business with another one, to which I provided proof that it was in fact feedback meant for this business. My mom and I wanted to go to la nails but they were still closed because of covid. So decided to try somewhere new we both havnt tried. It costed $45 each to get our toes done. Picking out the polishes they were call crusty and old when I was trying to find one i liked. Finally found this one . You think the polish would be okay because of how new this place was? I was wrong. To add the lady who did my toes did not use the calus remover even tho I paid extra just for that so my feet are still rough. I was visiting Rockford from New York and needed my nails done. I looked up nail salons near me meanwhile I was here but this was close and I saw the reviews and everything before coming to this nail salon. I arrived and they welcomed the walk in which not many around this area do accept. But we were welcomed and greeted. Staff wise it wasn't enough as more and more customers came in but I'm used to it since the nail salon I got to makes walk ins wait at most 2 hours. My nails were done half way and I got a pedicure and it was the most amazing thing. Both the nail technician and the pedicure guy was amazing. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. It was the most disgusting place I have ever been in. Hair and dirt all on the ground, dirty mop buckets sitting out. Flies everywhere. The nail techs shared files, clippers, and all utensils between the people I was with. They didn't wear gloves. I called to get a quote and how much a full set of acrylics with French tips would be they said $35 maybe a little bit more depending on the length I show up I get my nails done my nails are very short they only come out to about it a centimeter and a half in the lady that I think is the owner came over and told me that it was going to cost $55 plus tip I handed her three 20's and she held the five that was my change and said do you want this to be for the tip and I said no because they overcharged me anyways, And my ring finger, pinky and thumb All have black specs under the clearcoat. GOOGLE TRANSLATE IS MY NEW BESTIE So I really contemplated many times on how this review would go, I went in to the salon 6/16/24 around 11am. I'm a travelinglicensed hairstylist and needed to get in last min for a few business trips this week! This was literally the most degrading experience I ever had in life. I had to turn on Google Translate because the lady who did my pedicure literally gave off bad vibes and bad energy my entire entire service. She also was very sarcastic and joked about certain things that clearly I didn't need! I asked for a basic pedi and an extra 10 min massage. She asked me jokingly if I wanted a cut down laughing in my face when clearly it was nothing extra to file. I asked if she was being funny and she was like yes I am. I told her it wasnt funny and she continued the service; once we got to the massage she kept making comments of the same word in Vietnamese. The repetition and body language is what made me turn my Google Translate on. As you can see in the picture, the first thing Google Translate picked up was "they always want a massage?" Who the hell is they? This was my 2nd obvious red flag during the service because WTF IS THEY? By the time we hit 45 minutes to an hour in the service, one of her coworkers was coming over to see how much longer she was going to take, and you could clearly see she was irritated when she responded. Sooooo I turned the Google Translate back on, Only to find out, she then said" this is car repair" ! I've never experienced such hatred and degrading moments in my life while receiving a service, I didn't react in the moment because I still was hoping to believe it could have been a misunderstanding, but when I showed it to the coworker she was talking to it was very clear I wasn't naive! I politely (which I'm made I did) told her it was rude and how upset I was and she OFFERED ME A PEDI WITH A NEW PERSON LIKE WHAT no discount no manager call nothing but a return with someone else. I never really right reviews especially not negative ones but I hope this is a review that at least warns people that this salon definitely was not kind. I got the most basic service and upgrade on the menu and still was treated like crap! I'll never come back and I really hope that lady has a moment where she becomes a better person inside! The second to last time I went, I got my nails done for Valentine's Day, and one of the male workers was inappropriately telling me he wanted my number and that he wanted to take me out for a date - which is EXTREMELY unprofessional!!!! He was also twice my age... and the most recent time I went, I got a pedicure done and not 5 minutes after I was done, my toe nail polish had bubbled up weird and you could barely see it. I'm disgusted! I called and scheduled an appt for a pedicure, and mentioned to them i need someone that is very experienced in pedicures, because my feet are extremely dry and need work. I went in today. I had won one of the contests they offered on Facebook! It came in at the right time, seeing my current nail tech moved out of state! Tina says ohh you're so lucky you won, you never came here before. So lucky! I thought ok-so I go get my $52 pedicure that wasn't worth $5. The man that did my pedicure seems like he had no clue what he was doing! Soaked my feet for a minute pulls them out, and removes the polish and puts them back in tub! Which was fine, then he proceeds to apply either the scrub or mask on my legs then all of a sudden he applies the callous remover with the metal grater and then immediately started using the grater on my feet. Took off too much skin, I was bleeding, and he then continued using the pomice type scrubber and I jerked my foot back because it burned and hurt, o oh to find out he cut me and I was bleeding. . I called Tina over and told her why do you guys do pedicures backwards. Normally nails are cut and cleaned then the rest of the process. She said oh no, why you complain it's free. Seriously? That's when you should do your best to win me over so I can move to your salon. She said it twice, why complain it's free?!? . Wow such amazing service. So she said oh u want your nails cut? Umm, yes-seeing that they are long. . He couldn't even use the clipper to cut my nails she came and had to do them and she was annoyed! She said oh he told me he is doing it last cuz it's too thick? I don't have thick toe nails, and was never told this before-seeing I get pedicures frequently. Needless to say I can't put any pressure on my foot and all I can say is I better not get an infection. I went to Happy Nails on 2-16-2022 for a fill and polish. When spending my money, I expect friendly customer service and a casual conversation. Well that's not what I received. My nail tech barely said two words the whole time he was on my nails. That was somewhat disappointing, but no big deal. Now, when it came to what I wanted, I got something completely different. I wanted my nails painted black with multi color or silver sparkles on top. What I got was black polish that did not cover the tip of my nails and as they call it "sugar" nail on top (dipped black powder with sparkles). It looked okay, but I was concerned with it staying on as no clear coat was provided. Well, I be damned! Upon returning home, the "sugar" nail was rubbing off. I could not go back because they were close and the next day, I was leaving on vacation. I was ticked! 6 out of 10 nails were messed up. Upon returning to town (2-21-2022), I went to get them re-polished. I wanted a whole different color, but that is not what I received. Tina just painted a clear coat over most nails and put the "sugar" on a few others. Well I left there with lumpy nails and the polish came off again. I paid $10 dollars for these "sugar" nails! Tina did not even ask me anything, she just went over what was there and I left. I was so upset! She had the nervous to try to up sale me on a pedicure. All they want is your money! No commitment to "true" customer service and I am done with EVER going back! read more

Get a pedicure thought you were suppose to get a massage as well....not there. Thought that maybe first time whatever .. went a second & same thing no massage thats the sweet thing about getting a pedicure.They get so busy they tend to rush thru it all then you end up w crappy looking nails. Crooked and then thick, big humps, sides aren't filed nicely asked for gel got acrylic ... left with my big toe nails both filed oddly not straight across.. yea my wedding was the next day so not happy.
