A one star is too good. Worst mani/ pedi ever. They soaked my hands in acetone for approximately 45 minutes, while doing my pedicure. I thought it was nice soaking stuff until my hands started to burn and my finger nails turned to mush. Without asking, the man cut all the sides of my nails down deep (the part that goes into your skin on either side) so I wouldn't get hangnails. Now I HAVE hangnails. Stay away. read more

Went in yesterday on a recommendation from a friend, and they were amazing! The salon was clean and bright inside. The people working there were friendly and fit me in as a walk in. They were gentle, took their time, and asked me multiple times along the way how everything was looking. Didn't get charged extra for shaping, and it was only ten dollars total for the design. I've been plenty of places in the past where they charge five dollars per nail for art. I'm so so glad to have found a good go to nail place in Ellensburg. Update: went in again for a fill, this time with my little one in tow. They were amazing and made her feel special doing her nails as well! Happy accident! I thought I made an appointment for another salon and realized driving to my appt that it was to here. I decided to go for it. Getting into places is rough around town without an appt! I'm glad I did! They were fast, efficient and so friendly. I had two ripped cuticles that they were so gentle working around and gave me great tips to heal faster. I almost didn't want to give my review because places get crowded fast around here! Happy with my nails! I came in for a fill with decently grown out nails and left with a well done/ filled set. They were clearly sanitizing between customers and it was clean inside and each each station. Four out of five stars, only because my nail tech didn't ask me if I wanted to change the length or change the shape, basically all he asked was the color everything else was up to him. Absolute worst pedicure experience I've had and I have had many pedicures, in a variety of different cities/states over the past 20 years. I called and made a prior appointment, but when I arrived a few minutes early they were still working on another client. Another two people came in after me for their appointment, which was at the same time as mine, and left after about 10-15 minutes. (I had wondered who would do all three of our pedicures at the same time). I was seated at 3:18 and asked politely if I could be done by 4:00. Maybe this was my error and what ultimately contributed to what was to follow. It was about 30 minutes of painful jabbing with dull tools, way too short cutting of nails, and a complete slipshod polish job. It actually looks like I let a child or inexperienced person paint my nails. I'm about to leave for a trip and I have red and raw toes with very uneven and sloppy polish. This was not my first time at this location, but it will be my last. Also, there is only a small parking lot or RPZ parking available for customers. read more

I called on a Saturday morning and was happy to be able to get a same day appointment for 4. 3 of us got absolutely amazing manicures! Really very impressed. If it was just those 3 I would give 5 stars, unfortunately my nail technician ground the base of my nails down so far it bled. I only wanted a gel take-off! I was upset he was using the grinder instead of soaking them off. I know everyone can make a mistake here and there but then he did it again to my other hand not as bad but in the same place. It hurt so bad, it still hurts and I really hope my nail grows back ok. read more

The woman who worked on my nail did not to a great job filing them down-- a lot of jagged edges. I just got a regular manicure, but he edges were not clean. We were able to get in right away which was nice and they were very friendly. The salon was evidently their personal residence, bathroom facilities were not separate from the general public and overall facility not very clean, or well kept at all. I had regular Polish put on my toes with no UV light used for drying . They had me leave the salon with wet paint. I waited over an hour for them to dry and thought they were before I put socks on, to find out later that night that 3 of my toes on each foot was stuck to the socks. I've never left a salon with unfinished/wet paint on any nails. I paid full price $30 and included a $10 tip. I had to redo my nail's myself. Not worth going back whatsoever by any means. read more

I've never had an issue the many times I have been here and the ONE time my nail broke they fixed it with no questions. They do the job spot on and fix an issue if you feel there is one. Every other nail salon was booked so I had to come here WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER. With everything that is happening in the world they DONT SANITIZE they're tools so who knows what else they dont sanitize. I showed him a picture of what I wanted he completely ignored it, so ok whatever but on top of that he did a horrible job 1. Air bubbles 2. Acrylic application was thin and some thick 3. I went to get a pedicure for a holiday event and the service itself only took 15 minutes. Pedicures are suppose to be relaxing, if I wanted a quick paint job I would do it myself. After the nail tech was finished painting I waited in the chair for my toes to dry. Within 10 minutes another nail tech said my nails were ready (they just needed the chair) my nails ended up smearing! Luckily it was only the big toes so I could put sparkles on them and they still look decent. My advice go to DK nails in Yakima, they massage you for a whole hour! And have never rushed me out. The cost is the same -$25 or probably $30 now since Covid. read more

Tools were not satanized from what I saw and she also did not exchange for a clean towel once the lady before me left. It didn't look dirty in there but i sure felt like nothing was sanitary. Service was extremely slow, I was in there for 2 hours and it was just me and one other person in the salon. I got a dip manicure and the color selection was lacking. They had every color of the rainbow but no basic neutral colors like a light pink or beige. I went for the one of the few lightest colors they had, one the model it was a mauvey pink shade but once she applied it, it looks like I have no color on my nails. It was also really expensive, I thought, for the service that was provided. $40 for basically sitting there keeping this lady company for 2 hours and no color on my nails to show. They are very friendly and try to make the customer feel comfortable as best possible great customer service. The gal who did my pedicure used to work at Q Nails on Main St (they are also really good) but I like the new place and new equipment! She is great at pedi's... I honestly do not recommend this place. One lady took me for prep. She did not sanitize my hands or hers. She really used her own long nails to push back my cuticles! She then proceeded to buff out my nails & cut off a piece of my skin with the drill. I was then passed to one guy who did my actual acrylics. All was well until he drilled over my nails. It was painful but i didnt think much of it. As i got home I realized he had filed my nails to horribly. I asked for coffin and got a edge on one side of the nail & the other side was curved. I had to fix it myself.. still unrecoverable. I have pictures that are four days after I went in. As you can see my cuticles & skin are torn off. I didn't realize this until all the scabbing. All the jewels fell off the first day. Also such a horrible & uneven paint. All in all, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. Its totally not worth it. read more

So glad this place exists! After going around town making reservations and failed attempts, this place came to the rescue! I had a very particular manicure in mind and this place was the only one who could pull it off. Tony's Nails failed hard but that's a whole other review. I called in the afternoon after every other place turned me down and they gladly took me in right at closing time! Kim is such a wonderful person and she did such a fantastic job on my nails. This is one of the worse nail salons I have been to. They charged me $60 for a full set of acrylics and then later that night charge me an extra five I called the next day to tell them about the extra five that I should've not been charged on my card and they told me "oh it was a finger slip and that the five dollars will go back on my card within the next couple days." It has now been a week and I still have not received the five dollars back however it is just five dollars so I don't wanna make a big deal about it but what the fuck five dollars should not of been extra charged from my bank account for no reason. I had also gotten two diamonds on my middle finger and ring finger it has been a week and The diamonds have fallen off this has never happened in the past at other nail salons before. If you go here do not pay with card because you'll get charged extra money and charged way more than what it should be the quality of the nails are not even good they look like someone who just started doing nails did them they are not worth $60 plus an additional five dollars for no reason also don't get diamonds here the diamonds will fall off within a week and it is just not worth the $60. Also we are in a pandemic it is February 2021 and they didn't even clean their workstation before I sat down or at all also the other workers in there we're not wearing mask the only one wearing a mask was the one doing my nails. read more

DON'T GO HERE. The last few times I've been have been horrible. They have used the drill to take off all of my gel polish. Instead of wrapping them with acetone and tin foil. Because of this my nails have been ground down to nothing and are so flimsy they all broke, I had to take all polish off and put on nail strengthener. The new place I go to that does things correctly we're horrified when I told them how Happys does their nails. Very disappointed that a nail salon would be stupid enough to grind someone's nails down that badly and basically ruin them for about a month until I can grow and strengthen them back. And now I am well educated in what not to do so as to never let that happen again! I would never go here again and do not recommend for anyone else. read more

We were walk ins and there was only one other person in the salon and the woman kept asking us to make an appointment and was quite rude about it. If you want to be an establishment that only takes appointments, then you need to change your policy to "by appointment only".
