First, the salon didn't even bother stocking white polish, so I couldn't get French tips that I get every time I go. Then the tech didn't say a word the whole time I was there. I got a simple clear coat gel manicure and this is the garbage I got. No idea what shape she was going for but some parts looked chewed in the corners (she twisted the clippers to break off the nail instead of getting clean clips) and other nails had sharp corners. When I mentioned the Polish under my nails and on my skin, she looked and said she didn't see anything, then gave me a discount and sent me on my way. My nails weren't dry when she sent me off and when she pushed my cuticles back she didn't even bother trimming off the excess. Pretty bad experience and I tore the gel off in less than 24hrs because it was so ugly- you get what you pay for I guess, so though I used to love going there to get my nails done, I will now be going elsewhere.

We got in same day for a walk in, $25 as advertised on sign outside. She was very sweet and on time, however I went in to show her what I wanted his hair to look like because every other barber or stylist ends up giving him a bowl cut bc he doesn't know what to ask for. So we showed her reference pics and explained we didn't want a bowl cut but a low fade with longer on the top to keep his middle part with a sweeping style. She said his hair is thinner than the person in the photo which I could understand but then she immediately took a 0 to the side of his head and went way too far up. So even after I explained I thought the sides were too short, it was too late. After getting home and taking a closer look; everything is uneven and looks terrible. So now we are out $25 plus tip, and have to go to a HOPEFULLY good barber to get a fix. Long story short you get what you pay for, a quick hair cut that could be done by anyone. I wish it would've worked out I wanted to have a reliable, affordable and great stylist nearby for him to go to who knew how to do his hair. Lexi the nail tech at 425 & company really disappoints because she is the one who has told an old client of hers those things while doing her nails. The reason behind this is due to her not scheduling all her clients accordingly and not being clear about her policies. Lexi got upset at a client because the nail design was "too difficult" and she wouldn't have enough time but was already late with the client before, and Ive even seen a similar design on other clients in the past as well. Not only did she rush this client, not do any design, and tell her to prep her own nails next time but she even went out of her way weeks after saying these things to her and doing her nails and blocked her. Not only that but I've also gotten my nails done by her and it was decent she also claimed she couldn't even do an oval French tip because the polish brush was "too big" while the detailing brushes were right on her desk. Shortly into the appointment I realized I was never going to come back after she spoke down on her other clients.

I thought it was nice soaking stuff until my hands started to burn and my finger nails turned to mush. Without asking, the man cut all the sides of my nails down deep (the part that goes into your skin on either side) so I wouldn't get hangnails. Now I HAVE hangnails. Stay away.
