I was recommended this location to take my sister for her birthday. While the birthday girl loved her total experience, I unfortunately can't say the same. I will start with the good. I requested the Tropical Deluxe pedicure ($72) which I enjoyed. My issue came with my nails. The same guy that did my feet, was assigned to do my nails. I was like great. When discussing what I wanted done I requested powder dip and also coffin nails. I was told I couldn't receive the shape I wanted because I wanted them short (even through the pervious salon I went had no problem doing this). I them requested round shape and was talked into square. He then went to apply the no chip polish; I stopped him and reminded him that I wanted powder did like I stated. He told me that it was powder. I let him finish; know damn well the difference between powder and no chip I didn't want to make a scene and ruin my sister's day. I used to go there regularly, but they have a problem with staffing. There is a very high turn over; every time I find a technician I like, they quickly leave. I have notice that the manager/owner can be rude and condescending, not only with the customers, but the staff as well. Absolutely disgusting service. My two friends and I came in asking for regular manicures, yet we were each charged $74. While I was checking out, a man who didn't even do my nails briefly looked at them and then rang me up for a no-chip (gel) service--which is NOT what I asked for. There was zero communication about pricing or upgrades during the appointment. I later called to question the charge and was transferred multiple times, only to be told that my simple French tip design was an extra $22--again, something that was never mentioned beforehand. To make things worse, I was told to come in person if I had an issue, and then the employee hung up on me mid-conversation. Being overcharged is one thing, but the complete lack of transparency and disrespectful customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I visited Happy Nails on 6/14 for a regular manicure and pedicure. The technician was friendly, and everything looked fine when I left. However, after a short nap and a quick shower that evening, every bit of my nail polish peeled off in sheets. It hadn't even lasted 7 hours. I returned the next morning when they opened and explained what happened. Instead of standing behind their work, I was told they do not guarantee regular polish--even though it failed in less than 7 hours. The manager was dismissive and rude, and while they offered to "try" to fit me in, there was no real effort to resolve the issue. If a salon can't guarantee a basic manicure will last even one day, they shouldn't offer the service. Poor quality and worse customer service. I won't be returning. read more

Today I drove 30 minutes to my appointment only to be told they "don't schedule appointments for eyebrow tinting," which is completely inconsistent with my experience. I just did a polish change and DANNY didn't put a topcoat on my $25 no chip gel polish. I called up to the shop and was told I could come back, but I don't feel like driving back up there. My toes polish is also black, because it stuck to my shoe, because he didn't dry long enough. When I asked for an estimated wait time, he avoided answering and repeatedly told me to "just wait," offering no clarity or courtesy. His attitude quickly became disrespectful--rolling his eyes, acting irritated, and even telling me "you talk too much" when I calmly asked why he seemed upset. I remained polite the entire time and simply expected basic customer service and respect as an adult. I am a regular customer here. Sara usually does my brows and lashes. Friday sara wasn't feeling well, she was coughing really bad. I got medium cluster lash set. The moment I left my lash lifted, I immediately came back and Sara fixed it. I went home to get ready for my event a few hours later the lash came up again. I called they said come back and Sara would fix it. When I got there Sara was rude and didn't want to fix them. She told me to come back Saturday because she didn't feel well, and she would give me a new set. I have been wearing Lashes for 8 years never had this problem. I went back Saturday and Sara refused to fix my lashes and had Emma to re-glue them instead of a new set. That same lash came up again Saturday evening, and my eye is now really irritated and red. The gentleman did the pedicure and it wasn't the best but the whole point was I just needed a polish. He began to do a worse job polishing my toes as I had done the day before when I only had 10 minutes to spare. It was obvious he was new and not ready to take customers for polish. If I could provide zero stars, I would. When I went to get a no-chip manicure, the technician used an electric nail filer but obviously did not know how to use it. He filed straight through 3 of my cuticles and almost filed entirely through my actual nail. I now have a giant pink colored groove in my nails that will need to grow completely out. I left the salon bleeding in multiple spots, my no-chip manicure was soft and peeling off, there was nail polish all over my fingers and to top it off, they refused to give me a refund.
