I have been a good customer. I make my appointments, I call rather than simply not showing up, I pay for my services, I tip, and I communicate respectfully. I should be able to ask a question about my appointment or the price of my service without being treated as though I am causing a problem. There was also confusion regarding my price. I was initially quoted $70. I asked for a breakdown because based on the prices I had previously paid and the additional services explained to me, I calculated $65. After asking for clarification, the final amount was in fact $65, which I paid. What was most disappointing was the overall change in treatment. My hands were handled much more aggressively than usual, communication was dismissive, and after all of that, I left with gel that is visibly lumpy and uneven on my nails. I don't expect perfection from any business. Mistakes happen. What I do expect is professionalism, respectful communication, accountability when something goes wrong, and quality work for the service I'm paying for.
