I won't be coming back here ever again. I called a day in advance and asked if I could get an appointment for the next day. The woman who answered said no problem, tomorrow at 2pm. So I show up at 2pm the next day at the same time as 3 other women who were walk-ins. All 3 of them were seated and immediately taken care of while I waited. I waited for 45 minutes before somebody sat down with me and asked what I wanted. I said I had an appointment to get acrylics and the lady rolled her eyes and said, "I don't do nails" and walked away. Wtf? What's the point of scheduling an appointment if it won't be respected? Whats the point of even HAVING appointments if walk-ins will be taken first? What's the point of working at a nail salon if you can't do acrylics? There's a lot of competition from nail salons in Yucaipa and Happiness is one of the best arising Oak Glen and Yucaipa Blvd.There's 8 manicure and 8 pedicure massage seats so there's also usually openings for walk-ins. They do waxing too and a few other treatments in the private room in the back. Prices are a couple of dollars cheaper than the competition across Yucaipa Blvd but there's a less extensive set of colors and brands. Happiness isn't trying to be a swanky spa - it's functional, soothing and clean. No more no less. Staff are not continually talking to you or each other which some will like and others hate. I like to relax and enjoy; so less is more in the conversation department for me. The lower leg massage is one of the best I've ever had - probably l because I have soft feet So I don't need the callous treatment and they spent extra time on my feet and calves. Some of the controls for the massage seats don't show the functions properly but they all work. The massage they give is better than average without pushing you out of your seat. I like the range of pedicure treatments on offer and importantly they use new sanding blocks and files each time. read more

Didn't yelp this place before I went and didn't make an appointment either. Just tired and wanted to get it done quickly. A man did my nails (Peter?) and they turned out pretty nicely. The place was clean and quiet- functional but not spa like. My nail tech talked casually with me but let me sit and relax quietly for most of the manicure and the employees didn't talk to each other- this was exactly what I was hoping for after a long day at work. My mani cost me $33 including a broken nail, gel manicure, and a nice tip. While I was there I overheard someone else complaining about her manicure, however. I recently moved to the area and was hesitant to go here due to the yelp reviews, but the location is ideal, the same shopping area I can get my eyebrows threaded and do some grocery shopping at Vons. I was pleasantly surprised, the salon was not busy and I was helped immediately. They have a good selection of nail polishes and their prices are fair. Never coming here again. I get there at 11:10 am as soon as I walk in they tell me to sit at a chair. I waited 29 min until I asked how much longer until I get attended and they tell me another 30 min!!! I told the lady i had to leave at 12pm and she just laughed. That really pissed me off and said you should of said it would be an hour wait instead of having me sit down and having to think I'll be attended right away. I was skeptical about coming here because of the reviews but as I witnessed myself they weren't lying when they said they have crappy service. WORST NAIL SALON IVE EVER GONE TOO!! I wanted some really nice nails for a special accession & let me tell you, I spent 60$ for some of the worst sh**ist nails I've ever gotten. I wish I wasn't so dumb and told them something and not give them the 60$. If you want some really nice design nails I don't recommend this place because they won't give you what you want. I just don't recommend coming here in general. If I were able to I would give this place a -10. I wish I can show you the nails I wanted and how they really turned out but Just know that, the color was not the same as the picture, They weren't the same exact size I wanted & I wanted rhinestones and instead of that they put glitter. Contrary to the other reviews, my equipment was sanitized and opened directly from the autoclaved sealed packs. The service was friendly, pricing was comparable to other places in the city and surrounding areas and my mani/pedi lasted as long as it typically does when I have gotten them done elsewhere. I'd return there to have them done again. *If you're looking for a 4 star salon, all of these local places are not going to fulfill your requirements. You need to go to an upscale true "salon" to find that. Keep in mind you get what you pay for and if you're looking for your standard no appointment necessary $20 mani or pedi this is typical. read more

My experience in this salon was horrible. I asked for a gel manicure, one solid color no design. Nothing too complicated. Unfortunately I walked out with my nails looking like i did them myself with my left hand. She took forver doing my nails (maybe it was her first time doing gel..idk) and then told me that she was tired of doing my nail. To where she literally just stoped, turned off the light and said well there you go... I ended up having the use her tool to get all the excess glue out of my nails and cuticle myself. There are parts of my nails that are not cover in polish, parts of my finger that are. Also, usually when you get a mani they lotion your hand up and give you a lil massage... I got none of that. I got sh*tty attitude and service. i asked them to fix it, they told me to just wait and that they'll reshape them.... that's not what i need. I had to pay 23$ for a mess. I've never had such bad experience and I won't be returning. I suggest you look somewhere else to get your nails needs done. read more

i will NEVER come here again! my sister and i made an appointment today for 2:30. we got there at about 2:25 to be there early. when we walked in we were greeted and told to sit in the waiting area. we waited there for about 15 mins, didn't even get colors to pick from or anything. then we finally got into the pedi chairs. no water in the bowls and still waiting for colors. we waited in the chairs for another 30-35 mins. people were coming in with NO APPOINTMENT and we're getting helped first. we got our shoes on and started to leave then they said "5 more mins" and put water in the bowls. they finally started our toes at 3:15! never going there again. i only tipped bc i didn't want bad karma. read more

Do I have to give it one star? Completely unprofessional I have a tight schedule and that's why I make appointments! I have been going to this location for almost a year and on several appointments I waited over half an hour and couldn't even be seen for my manicure so I could get back to work. I completely wasted my time. That's what an appointment is for! I've shared my experience with coworkers and learned that they have done the same thing to them even putting them in a pedicure chair and letting them soak for over 40 minutes till the water was cold and they never got their pedicure...they had to leave as well. Bad customer...I'd rather pay a couple $ more down the street and be able to be seen at the I scheduled with them. On my last visit I asked for 11:15am.
