I came in today for a pedicure. I've been to the salon many times in the past. I won't be back. When I arrived, the water was already ready for me. I sat down and looked into the water. There were multiple hairs and small black specks of something in the water.... Idk why I decided to still put my feet in, but I did. The pedicure was fine. Actually looks great. But when I was done, the woman replaced the plastic covering without ever disinfecting the tub. Just a note: the woman doing my toenails had pierced a hole in the plastic covering to drain the water with my feet still in the tub... I brought it to the attention of the owner. I actually told her this is the 2nd time I've noticed this happen here. (It was.) She said nonchalantly, "we usually do." and waved me off. So gross honestly. I'm uncomfortable. She left the acrylic way too thick. Not very welcoming, she turned her attitude upside down when i told her i just wanted regular gel polish and she kept pushing the other polish on me. I showed her a picture of simple short square nails, but the thickness and inconsistency on my nails is embarrassing. I just wanted to get out of there, she didn't take her time and seemed rushed to get me out. I was nice and had no attitude. Paid for my service but most likely won't go again. read more

I called Trend Set at 9:30 when they opened, and was able to schedule same day appointments at 11. We arrived for our spa pedicures and I can't say enough about how wonderful our pedicures were! They took their time and made sure we were comfortable and the temperature was to our liking. The leg and foot massages were amazing! So much so that my husband fell asleep during his. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly, the owner (Nancy) is interactive and involved with her staff and clients, and it's very clean! I wouldn't expect anything less considering I was a client of Nancy's when she was solo in her own suite and I knew exactly how she operated. Although this is about a 25 minute drive for us, we will continue to come back! read more

Nails painted poorly, also thinned my nails with electric file unnecessarily. My daughter was also getting a manicure. Several times she asked to see the color board to pick out a nail polish color. The technician did not respond and without asking, picked up a bottle of white nail polish and just starting painting my daughter's nails with it. I tried to interject as I sitting next to my daughter and told the technician that my daughter wanted to look at the color options. I got no response. It was a very odd experience. Well visiting my mom and Yucaipa wanted to treat her to a manicure, and I made an appointment for us for a full set for myself The girl that did my acrylic said was sweet quiet nothing special but the nails look good. The manicure on the other hand was absolutely horrific left with cut up cuticles. She was extremely upset that my mom did not get gel nail polish no hand massage. It literally was 10 minutes max . Bad experience! After my pedicure started, the woman stopped in the muscle of curing my nails and just sat there in front of me with a strange look. She was pulled from me and a woman outside on a break was called in. Pedicure was good, but then I was given two right footed paper sandles and I could hardly walk. I was forced to walk out onto the dirty street with my left foot hanging out of the backwards slipper. THEN...I was overcharged $1.05!!! WTF!!! No dryers for pedicures!!! Overcharged!!! The woman in charge acted like she didn't give two shits about my struggles walking in these cheap ass shoes! Didn't care one bit!!! First and last time I'll go here! I felt uncomfortable. I was getting my nails done when one of the working were talking, looked at my nails and said "ewww..." I got upset, and before that, the person doing my nails cut my cuticle on accident and proceeded to put acetone AND alcohol in it. It burned really bad. I had a reference and then a drawn reference that I made showing what I wanted. I had three colors, pink, a darker pink, and white. She only did one vibrant pink, and when I said I wanted white she said "ugh, white." Not only that, the person next to her wanted to see the drawing version of the reference I had. The person doing my nails pulled it up and gave her phone to her. All of a sudden, they are laughing their butt off. The lady with the phone proceeds to walk around the room, laughing at the drawn reference I had. I felt embarrassed, and the employees kept looking at me like I was crazy. My design wasn't funny, it was just flowers on my nails. I wanted to curl up into a ball for the rest of the day. I would go again, just probably get someone else to do my nails.
