I went in thinking " Ok, this is obviously a country store". And I observed some things that I was going to keep off here in my review thinking it was a one off occourance. But after reading the comments below and seeing the "Owners" participating in a ''flame war" here on yelp because someone didn't have a good experience I'm obviously taking off the gloves cause it reinforces what I witnessed.... I went in with my male friend and he was quite amazed by the variety of materials offered for sale at this place. Obviously being a geek myself I was tickled with delight over the hodge podge of Weapons and smoking paraphernalia, but was quickly crashed down to reality when I was suddenly awakened from my blissful shopping by what appeared to be a loud mouthed troll and her brood of young-lings. Apparently I chose a bad time to check this place out as it was feeding time. Now don't get me wrong I love family businesses, but family dinner in the middle of the store is just to far for me. The mother was yelling and cursing as she was trying to keep the young-lings in line. Me and my friend politely exited the location in haste as this quickly began to resemble a scene from either Deliverance or Cabin Fever. While inside I did notice they do have a wide array of offerings from Food, Toy's, Weapons, and Dinner Items. Sanitary habits are slightly to far and near for my tastes. Best of luck to them hopefully they grasp the concept of GREAT customer service and appearance in the future, I personally won't be back I like wearing my own skin. read more

Heard about this place on Greg & the Morning Buzz and figured i would try them out. I went in with a couple of my friends and it turns out we all agreed they had the best subs we had ever had. I got a Chicken Salad Sub, I was at first confused when they asked me what kind i wanted? Turns out they offer 4 flavors, i went with the Garlic, Basil & Tomato. I then watched as they mixed the chicken salad to order! Talk about Fresh! My friends each Tried a Meatball of the week sub, Apparently every week they offer a couple of different flavors of meatballs, not the traditional kind. They had BBQ and Buffalo Chicken Meatballs as the 2 flavors to choose from and they each got one and split them so they could each try both flavors. The meatballs where moist and extremely flavorful. We Topped off our lunch with Cupcakes from JD's Sweets & Treats which is now located inside this location and apparently we lucked into this place on $1 cupcake day which i guess is every Thursday! The owners where very friendly and the place had a very unique mix of items for sale to look at while we where waiting for our food. All in all i will be recommending this place to my friends and am excited to take advantage of their catering options when my next party comes along! read more

We went into this place today for the first time and it was a true pleasure too find such a unique place! While we where there the owner was at the stove making Jalapeno Mustard that he let me sample and boy was it great! (they offered to let us sample any of the other home made preserves they had on hand). They had a 3 year old girl who was helping a 16 yr old dust the shelves and they both where more then willing to chat with us and recomend things we should try. We went for a couple of their specialty hotdogs and a pulled pork sandwich, Both where great. I got a couple of Texas Dogs (wich has bacon and cheddar cheese on it) and my GF got the Pulled Pork Sandwich wich is the best I have ever tried! Now mind you this is where this shop gets dangerouse, while we where waiting for the food to be ready we found an assortment of things that we "just had to have" LOL. Included in this where 20 hand dipped incence for $1, Hand Poured Aloe Soaps, a Pocket Knife, and an assortment of hand made chocolate treats! I go to happy pappys almost every day, they have delicious food and the prices are very reasonable, they make the food right infront of you so you can see everything they use. I have NEVER seen barefoot dirty kids in the kitchen. they always wear gloves when preparing my food and wash their hands before and after. The woman that works there is always nice and conversates with you while she cooks, which I have to say is a welcome change to the usual "have a nice day" attitudes of most place now. As for the smoothies they have you watch them freshly made as you order it they use milk,ice yougurt real fruit, also they provide you a taster to see if you would like sugar, again you don't get that kind of service most places. The children that are there are very well manored and the littlest one is pure entertainment!! I will continue to go to happy pappy's and I would encourage other to visit as well they are family owned and operated and it is a refreshing change to the "would you like fries with that?" day's! read more

Im a lil insulted that my review didnt make it in..as it may have been FAKE if any one knows me in this city of Rochester,nh..and alot of people do..if i didnt like a place they would ALL know it..im not fake I like the place..I like the people...I LOVE the fruit smoothies and I love the value for the buck..if u dont like it..dont go there..there are plenty that do.. there is room for everyone to have a buisiness or life..and room for improvement..and if u think a bad review is gonna close a place..especially when its untrue..good luck to u.. read more

I found Happy Pappy's on Facebook and after months of seeing all the fantastic photos of the food they prepare I decided to ask if they would ship to Atlanta. My passion in life are meatballs, Who doesn't love a good meatball? I placed my order and in 3 days I had my package of 2 dozen meatballs along with some extra goodies these fine folks were nice enough to add in. The meatballs were hand formed and very tasty! The sauce reminded me of my moms and accompanied the meatballs perfectly read more

Love everything about this store! They are super kid friendly, and my daughter loves their kids meals followed by a cookie dough sundae!
