Michelle is the greatest human ever. I have always been hesitant to have stranger in our space and taking care of our fur children. If I could give Michelle 500 stars on here, I would!! There aren't enough good things to say about her. I found Michelle through Yelp after learning we would need someone to visit our two cats twice a day while we were away. I was understandably nervous about leaving my two fur babies in a total stranger's care but Michelle put me at ease from the minute I met her. She is so friendly, attentive, reliable, and a fantastic communicator. I reached out to her and had a response within 10 min or less, and that did not change while we were away. Michelle also sent me photos of my cats each visit and made sure to provide updates on them. Our smoke detector even went faulty and had a battery issue and Michelle was flexible and helped meet our building's maintenance man to get it repaired. I felt SO comfortable and relieved that my two babies were under Michelle's care while we were gone. Her love for animals is clear, and there is truly no one better to look after your pets while you're away. Michelle pet sat for our cat this past holiday weekend and we could not be happier. First a note about how I feel about my cat. If it wasn't for my husband, I'd be a crazy cat lady for sure. I love her THAT much. As for Michelle, she is a GODSEND, truly. In addition to being great at what she does, she is flexible and prompt and an all-around good person. I first contacted her when we needed an emergency cat-sitter (a family member backed out 2 days before our trip out of town and our cat didn't have the requisite vaccinations to go to a kennel since she's an indoor only cat). I checked Yelp (thanks guys!) and contacted Michelle and she was SO responsive. She came over right away to meet our cat and I was instantly comfortable with her. We were all squared away that day. Since then, we've used her for every holiday/vacation. This woman is so professional, we'll never rely on amateurs again. She is AMAZING with communication - she texts updates and pictures (with kitty in her lap!) and responds VERY quickly even late in the night. I NEVER worry that anything will happen to my cat on her watch (unlike a very bad experience I had with another pet sitting company who LOST MY KEY but that's another story). It's CLEAR that Michelle absolutely loves animals and will care for her clients as she would for her own. When we return from trips, kitty is happy and healthy and not stressed out. As an added bonus, she takes Paypal so you don't even have to find your dusty set of of checkbooks to pay her. I don't know what I'd do without her. Probably never go on vacation again. I can't say enough how lucky we feel that we found her. She listens closely and follows all instructions we give her. She takes care of individual needs of our cats. We're "that couple." You know the ones - We don't own cats - our three cats have pet humans. Each cat likes a different type of cat food, a different type of cat treat, they all look alike and two of them require medication for weird ailments. Our cats are quite frankly spoiled, very intelligent and used to being able to get whatever they want with only a meow and a wave of a paw. So we know we're not the easiest clients. Well, none of that phased Michelle! She did an excellent job caring for our three furballs - even the one who insisted on telling her with ever visit "You're NOT my Mom!" How do we know she did a great job? Because when we got home, all three cats were relaxed and happy - pleased to see us, but not desperate. We need more stars! Michelle is THE BEST. When moving to LA, the transition for my dog back into apartment life from a big backyard was worrisome for me. I wanted to find someone to give a little love to my "stress case" while I was at work. I have been using Michelle for a year now and I couldn't be happier with her. My dog loves her and gets excited when I tell him that Michelle is coming to see him. She is always reachable and is great about communicating her schedule and working with you. Her personality is a ten and me and Toby absolutely adore her. Last week, my dog had a seizure while at the groomer and I was at a complete loss of what to do. I hadn't really established myself with a vet yet seeing that Toby has always been healthy. When the emergency vet that the groomer took him too was was telling me how much I owed them, all of the tests they needed run and yadi yadi ya $$$, I knew I needed a second opinion. The first thing that I did was walk outside and call Michelle. She calmed me down and told me a similar experience that she had with her dog and got me the address and number for the vet that she recommends. I took Toby there, avoided the hefty bills from the emergency vet and thank God, my boy is fine. The best part of it all was that I haven't needed Michelle for several months and had gone a bit dark.
