Happy Shuttle was very helpful during my trip to Cancun. They took me to my resort from the airport. They took me to Xel-Ha and back with no problems. The only problem I had was when I was leaving to go the airport and my driver was 20 minutes late. That put me in a pretty bad situation at the airport. Shout out to Lucio! This is my 3rd time using Happy Shuttle. 1st two times, the experience was great, van was there, took us to the resort. Great conversation with the driver and there you go. This time, the driver at the airport was a no show. We waited about an hour and Happy Shuttle paid for a cab to take us to the resort in Playa del Carmen. Before I even got to the resort, I had an email from them with a full refund for the round trip which the other half I had not even taken yet. I did not have to call or complain and yes I would have. We had to wait about 10 minutes, it was so hot but right away the person who picked us up was so nice and took us to our hotel pretty quickly and made sure we were comfortable, he would check on us if it was too cold or if we were okay. This service was decent, it got us to our hotel. However, first the instructions say: AVOID doors marked as "Family & Friends Only" so to us that meant, don't go through them. So we walked around the terminal for like 10 minutes trying to figure out where else there was to exit. They should choose another word besides avoid, that means: to keep away from (Merriam-Webster dictionary). Secondly, the man with Happy Shuttle charged us $10 more if we wanted to leave at that moment because he had to wait an hour for another plane to transport more people. He gave us the option to wait or go, but pay more money. That doesn't make sense and there was no information about this in the emails I received. It isn't good for business to set a price and then change it. read more

They were organized, on time and took us straight to our hotel since they offer private shuttle service. We easily found them when we got out of the airport since they were holding a sign and had a marked van and the driver was very pleasant. I need more than 5 stars for the fantastic service we received. Someone was waiting for us as soon as we landed and called a driver immediately. We waited maybe 5 minutes for the shuttle to arrive, quickly loaded and were on our way. Henrry was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us a little info session as we drove from the airport to our resort. The shuttle was stocked with complimentary water and cerveza and the ride was very smooth and direct. We booked round trip service and our return shuttle was just as great. The driver was very nice and the ride was great. The company itself also seems to take care of its employees. Both drivers had very nice things to say about working for Happy Shuttle and spoke of incentives and rewards. I'm definitely a 'type A' personality and was very concerned about not having transportation booked in advance for my cancun trip. Therefore, I booked happy shuttle a few days before our trip based on reviews online (tripadvisor, yelp), and after reading taxis from the airport without a reservation are super expensive and NOT recommended by the Cancun AIRPORT's own website. Happy shuttle was only $53 roundtrip for two people (Total price for both) and was very pleased with the service. no delays in either direction, and the staff was friendly and put up with our awful Spanish, haha. Dont worry, they speak more than enough English to get you to where you need to be too. Driver was safe (no crazy taxi driving!) and van was clean. We got a private shuttle so we wouldn't have to do a lot of stops (only $5-$10 more than a shared shuttle), and it was a great trip. only 20ish minutes from airport to hotel zone. They met all me and my travel buddy's expectations. read more

I ordered their service for my partner the day before his arrival to Cancun. But when he arrived there he was not in their lists and they refused to provide transportation service to him. Very upset that I chose this shuttle company over Canada Transfers and Liam Dodd who were highly recommended to me. I chose this company because of the wifi. Don't fall for it. There is no wifi. Did not work at all. Just a gimmick. They also don't wait for you with a sign. You have to find them, tell them your reservation, then they search for a van to come. Took over a half an hour waiting in the hot sun. On the return to the airport our driver was driving recklessly. He was driving so fast swerving in and out of lanes. At one point he was about to smash into the van in front of us on the highway who had stopped for traffic. I saw it and had to yell for him to stop at which point he slammed on the brakes as hard as he could and barely stopped in time. If I had said something a half a second later, we would have smashed into the back of the van in front of us at a very high speed. He did not say a word. Did not say sorry. I don't know if he was on his phone or he was drunk. Some in our party thought he was drunk. We asked him to slow down and he continued to drive fast and recklessly. We had two kids in the van! He was swerving all over the highway like it was a damn racetrack even after our near death experience and after we had asked him to slow down. I finally had to ask him to get in the right lane and stay there. He never said a word. No sorry. No thank you for saving his life. I am very disappointed that I booked with this company instead of the other shuttles that were recommended to me. Definitely go for Liam Dodd or Canada Transfers. I am so sorry I didn't. read more

We did not find them easily with their sign, but found a couple who was also taking happy shuttle and said they would be back to get us. We used Happy Shuttle to and from our resort. The price for the private round trip was decent and we appreciated the direct transportation since our resort was over an hr away from the airport. We didn't have to wait long after leaving the airport to make our way to the resort. The staff were easy to locate outside the airport and Happy Shuttle emails you instructions on how to find their staff ahead of time. Happy Shuttle emails you to remind you of the pickup transportation from the resort and picked us up as expected. It rained on the day we had to leave so transportation was a little late but we expected it. The drivers were nice. One let me charge my phone and provides us with water. The only thing I worried about was the drive home. The driver was driving pretty fast in the rain which made me nervous. But I've noticed that driving in Mexico is a little scary lol.
