Had some work done finished last April had a credit of 563.65 when everything was done never let me know I had a credit last week I went in for a cleaning and the girls told me I have that credit so when I went back to speak to the dentist the front desk took this big executive check book in to his office and 10 minutes later she comes out and says we are all out of checks we have to order more so if there was no checks why would you bring the big book into his office I will upd you if I ever get my money back and then she said there is a 40 dollar fee for them to write me a check just the fact you weren't honest with me is why I'm writing this that money means nothing to him but at 70 years old and the holidays coming up it means a lot to me read more

Unfortunately they seem to have closed. I began seeing them in October to have a partial denture plate made and was very happy with them. Upon trying to reach them to pick up my denture it seems they have closed keeping my appliance even though it's fully paid for. This means I must start all over and finding a dentist in plan is a nightmare. After speaking with United Healthcare this is my only choice. Once I find a dentist the process will be denied, I will need to appeal with an 80% chance of approval. I will look great with no front teeth. Thanks HAPPY SMILES and UNITED HEALTH CARE. read more

I've always had a great experience at Happy Smiles. I love the receptionist! She is so kind and helpful and their hygienist was the best I have ever been too. She was extremely gentle, because I am a big baby. A couple was leaving without getting a cleaning and I got them to stay by convincing them how great this dental hygienist was, and she drove a long way, in a storm to make my appointment. Can't say enough about Happy Smiles! Friendly staff and their prices are very reasonable too, even without insurance, compared to most DDS prices. read more

I had a crown done at Happy Similes. It fell out in less than a year. I tried getting it fixed but they refused because the dentist that did the crown no longer worked for them. It's the customers that are rude here. The staff does its best to handle a large clientele but it's never enough. It's always a good idea to plan your day to be patient and wait when you're going to a dentist that's treats everyone whether you can afford to pay or not. This is a Medicaid dental office. After bringing an elderly lady here who is pretty much destitute they served her and saw she was treated with dignity. Too bad the patients don't treat the staff with the same respect. Negative stars. Non hygenists performing teeth cleaning and when they told me my one daughter needed a hygienist to clean her teeth because of build up. When returned tried to charge be $115. Since I got upset the hygienist turned around and said she didn't want to take care of my kids and was refusing treatment. I called insurance to complain and found out they actually billed my insurance for a cleaning last week which didn't happen. When they went to put sealant on son's tooth the tech said to the other just showed me once and then I can figure it out. Stay away from this place read more

No change of gloves from door knobs to mouths I had to request change of gloves to go near me and was scoffed at and eye rolled. They have a very friendly, proactive and efficient staff, the only downfall is the new Dr does not work with Medicaid plans. So those families now need to get a new dentist, but they are so nice that will offer you a free visit to help you out. They go above and beyond. read more

Simply out of necessity, as my wonderful dentist was out of town for a dental seminar, I had a crown come off while eating a gummy bear. The crown had been placed 10-12 years ago by my current dentist. No pain involved, but I didn't want to let it go over the weekend as I know my tooth was susceptible to bacteria and opposing teeth shifting. The "receptionist" was not only rude and severely unprofessional, even after explaining (trying to explain in terms she may understand) that the tooth was sound and vibrant, and just needed to be re-cemented, and frankly, I was willing to have a radiograph done to confirm the health of my tooth and surrounding teeth, structure, and oral health in general. That's customary and great. I went so far as to tell her that even if there wasn't a dentist available that we could re-cement with a temporary cement to carry me through the weekend, and a qualified assistant can do that, legally. TEMPORARY cement. It would have taken no more than 15 minutes, tops, x-ray included. The response I got was one for the books. I've never been talked to the way this person spoke to me, as if I'd had an affair with her husband. Nasty! No time for me. I was told to go to Walmart if I wanted my crown re-cemented and that they weren't accepting new patients. Excuse me? No new patient here. This was a simple emergency FOR ME, a very quick fix and would have never allowed another dentist to perform anything that involved anything other than re-cementing a crown, even temporarily. No harm, no foul. And no appointment. I remained calm and non confrontational as I knew this person was clearly agitated when she answered the phone, after ringing several times. We all have "off days" but this was completely off the chart "real bad day, real bad attitude" kind of day for her and she said what she had to say to me and curtly hung up on me. Again, REALLY? Did you just hang up on me? She did. I wasn't about to call back as I had my answer, NO APPOINTMENT, and obviously the office is either overwhelmed, understaffed, or just making way too much money to give a hoot about folks calling them for simple appointments. I've shared my experience with this office with many many people in the area, as I'm in sales and see an average of 15-20 people a day. For the first 2 weeks I made it my mission to share my honest and sincere experience with any one who would listen and it was no surprise to hear that I wasn't the only one who had similar issues with this person. Surely the dentist knows this, as it's an ongoing problem, and why she's allowing this person to sabotage her business and reputation. Sorry, no excuses can be made for this behavior. Rude is rude and it was most unwarranted. Y'all need to check yourselves before you wreck yourselves! read more

I scheduled an appointment at this office prior to reading the Yelp reviews. I actually read the reviews while sitting in the waiting room, and became slightly nervous. Both my kids had appointments for check-ups. They were called to the back about 1 hour after their scheduled appointment. My youngest was anxious, but the staff made her feel very relaxed. Everyone in the back was very pleasant, patient and kind. We absolutely loved Dr.Chi!! Despite the wait, we scheduled return appointments. I would recommend this office - however, suggest that you go on a day when you're not pressed for time. read more

H O R R I B L E ! First, booked with ZocDoc, who I USED to trust. I scheduled with top rated DDS, "Marianna Zadov". In the end, she's a ghost! Not there at all! But I found her at about 5 locations on ZocDoc later! With appointments available at the same time!!!! No mention of this Happy Smile place. Staff unwelcoming from the start. Although only 2 people sitting when I arrived, several others came and went before I was called an hour later. They did a standing 360 head scan then brought me back for X-rays. What was the scan for!!!??? I had to INSIST to only X-ray the single molar that simply needs a new filling. Then I was escorted to another area where there were TWO dental chairs. The woman next to me was finishing up, drills going, etc... I asked my tech what I was doing there. She said I had to be "evaluated" to see what the Dr will do. Screaming from the next room made me uneasy. After 30 minutes of waiting, I'd been in the office TWO HOURS and had NOT met a Dentist! I got up and walked by a tiny Asian woman who appeared to be a Dr or Hygienist. She said she was coming, I said I was going! Do NOT go here! read more

This place is unbelievable. I brought my kids for their check-up appointments at 9am. We were the only patients there. Around 9:15 they call us in for X-rays etc. We were finally done with their cleanings around 10am. I was then told that the dentist travels from west palm beach and she was pulled over and would be here in 10 mins. 20 mins later still no dentist. I finally had enough and told them that waiting an hour and a half for the dentist was unacceptable and that I was leaving. So after 1.5 hours all my kids got was their teeth cleaned. Here's how my experience went with happy smiles dentistry... I went in to get a root canal. I waited for two and a half hours to see the dentist. Nobody came out the entire time to tell me that they were running late or anything, they just left me out in the lobby. Finally when they let me back they had me pay them $1900.00 for the procedure (keep in mind that 1900.00 is a lot of money for me). The dentist was absolutely not apologetic in the least about the wait. she just said that they were backed up. She started the procedure and I asked her why she didn't give me laughing gas and she said that she didn't know that I wanted it. then she found it on the paperwork and told me that if I still wanted it she would have to start all over again. I told her to just keep going because I didn't want to inconvenience her (she sounded flustered and upset). She continued and while cleaning she spilled some kind of bleach/cleaning solution down my throat and I kept choking so she stopped what she was doing and got me a drink. It seemed like she was having a really bad day so I just rolled with the punches. She finally said that she couldn't do the root canal, and would have to get my tooth pulled instead. This is about the worst news that I could've heard because I didn't want to lose anymore teeth (I already had one pulled before this and was horrified that she had to pull another one). She was the dentist so I believed her. She pulled my tooth. The staff told me that they would fix it on my next visit. COVID came along and the dentist canceled my appointment. Since then I've tried to call them repeatedly and they just don't answer the phone, or promise me that the office manager would give me a call back because she was always busy. That was February! It's November 13th today...9 months later I called three times today and talked to them finally! But they still wouldn't give me any info so I went down to the office to talk to her in person. After arguing with her I left telling her that I would get the police to make her give me my money back. I guess that's what I had to do all along, because after I left she called (my wife's phone) and left a message saying that I could come back on Monday to talk about it. So I have to wait the weekend! We'll see how that goes, unless I'm banned from giving my input. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT EVER GET IT BACK OR GET THE PROCEDURE THAT YOU PAID FOR! ALSO HORRIBLE SERVICE! Definitely long wait times. The staff is clearly overbooked and overworked. Took 1 hour 40 minutes after my 'appointment' to be seen for my checkup, and was told if I wanted to have my teeth cleaned I'd have to book another appointment to come back. No thanks. However, they do offer a $25 gift certificate if you'll leave a positive review on Yelp or Google, totally bypassing the whole idea of a review site. I highly recommend Happy Smiles! They were able to see us last minute on Christmas Eve. Once there the staff was friendly and efficient. They are very patient with little ones and now the whole family goes to Happy Smiles. Dr. Michelle is wonderful with kids and it's very easy to make appointments. read more

Was told to "sit & wait"..they were going back& forth with another patient that was there...at 1pm another patient came in & they got checked in Immidiatly...so I rolled my eyes then they checked me in...1:10 pm got called to do Registration...well that's why I was 15 minutes early....then at 1:30pm they called the other patient that arrived after me..oh I was mad...same second front desk receptionist says to the nurse to bring my son as well. 1:45pm I'm sitting in the waiting room...my son is getting X-rays done. However, the first follow up appointment that they had available was 3 months later. Ok, fine. Due to the service needed, I was advised to have the work done over 2 appointments. Fast forward to 3 months later, I arrived to the 1st appointment at 6p (my appointment time) only to be told everyone left at 4p due to Halloween. No one from the office reached out to reschedule the appointment since they changed their office hours. I did however receive a call to confirm my 2nd appointment that was scheduled for the next week at 6p. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the office that the doctor leaves at 4p and they would call me back to reschedule. I've called the office multiple times and left messages with their answering service. No one has returned my calls. I will not be returning. read more

I had an appointment set today with Happy Smiles that I had made a while ago when I was offered cheap dental insurance. This dentist office was my only option, but I figured the insurance was cheap enough so I would go ahead and switch dentists. Today was supposed to be my new patient appointment and was the first time I had ever been to this office. My appointment was set for 1:40. At 8am I received a phone call from a man at the office telling me that my insurance had been terminated in 2013 and that I would need to call my insurance company. I had just signed up for this insurance in January and my payment was just taken out, just like it had been for the past few months, so I knew he was mistaken. But I went ahead and called the insurance company and they said my plan was active and that the dentist office was wrong. A few hours later, a lady at Happy Smiles called me and told me my insurance was fine. Thanks for stressing me out! Anyway I left early to make my appointment, but ended up circling the seacoast bank four times because I had no idea where to go and there were no signs for Happy Smiles. Finally I called Happy smiles and the lady that answered said we are inside the seacoast bank on the 2nd floor. Confused... but I still decided to give it a try. I went in and wasn't greeted by anyone but was handed paperwork. I noticed there were barely any chairs left and the waiting room was full. After doing the paperwork, I sat in the waiting room for about an hour past my appointment time until I heard another women in the waiting room go up to the desk and say that she would like to reschedule because she had been waiting for almost two hours. I guess the one star I gave could symbolize how thankful I am that during my wait time I had a chance to read reviews on this place and then kindly walk out before ever being called back into a room! I can't wait to run back to Great Smiles and not ever have to deal with this office again. read more

I had an appointment today at 9 a.m. When I walked in they said the doctor called in about 10 minutes ago and said he is not coming in today. During my first appointment they tried to upsell me on treatments that were not covered by insurance. They seemed upset when I was unsure and they did not explain things well. I went in for an evaluation and said my teeth were really hurting me that day, they were super busy but cleaned my teeth anyways because they thought it would help the pain somewhat. This is a three ring cluster f*ck of a dental office. Called and scheduled an appointment for teeth cleaning. Arrived early to fill out any paperwork they would have. It took roughly two hours just to get x-rays and an explanation of benefits. The explanation of benefits must have been for someone elses insurance because they wanted to charge me for a cleaning and fillings which would be covered by my insurance. They tried to confuse me with types of services recommended by the dentist and services quoted. Dentist recommend a normal cleaning and they quoted me for deep cleaning. Dentists said nothing about gingavitis but was quoted for gingavitis treatments. The overall service received was very low quality and unprofessional. Lobby television was so loud everyone had to yell to speak. Customers were standing at the check in window filling out survey information on a laptop while other customers were conducting transactions right next to them. There was certainly no privacy. The overall appearance of the office was dirty and broken. One of the arm rests for the dental chair was broken so I had to sit with my arm cross my body or tucked under my leg so it wouldn't fall down. There should never be a reason a patient should have to be shuffled from room to room to room and back to lobby. It should flow better. A patient that schedules a cleaning should be able to get a cleaning the day the schedule, within 90 minutes of arriving regardless of what services they may need down the road. I will not return to this dentist office and will never recommend it to anyone that asks. read more

When I went up to check on when I would be seen I discovered that they couldn't find the x-rays that were sent to them and couldn't tell me what time I would be seen. Several patients left after waiting for 2 hours!! Needless to say, I left and this time won't be back.
