They were not listening at all, and although I'm not British, I can tell you that when this happens in California, it's because they don't want your business. So, we moved on. She does pet sitting herself, but also set me up with a pet sitter in another town when I'm in that area. I was impressed with her contracted sitter during our meet and greet. When a last minute need for sitting in Placerville arose, I contacted Tamara and she was able to accomodate my request. Upon arrival I noticed that the facility was very well organized, safe and set up for multiple dogs. I noted that she is extremely experienced with dogs and well versed in behavior. She is very personable and walked me around and explained how her boarding works and the different areas for the dogs. Tamara made me very comfortable leaving my pet while I ran errands for the day. The facility is set up very well for overnight boarding too. My dog had a great time at Happy Tails with Tamara's Great Dane and other guests. I would definitely return. I also had the opportunity to leave my dog with Cheryl in Folsom and had a very positive experience. I appreciate the fact that Happy Tails is licensed and insured. Highly recommended.

I've owned four dogs since I moved to the Jackson area in 1990 and I've had my ups and downs with…read morethe local dog groomers most of whom have no idea what it means to provide good customer service. Fortunately, for my dogs, Nancy opened a shop in Sutter Creek and started grooming my pets at that time and I continue to take my dog to her every month to be groomed. Yes, it's quite a drive from Jackson but I never have to wait and my dog spends little or no time in a kennel because she books one customer at a time. Nancy devotes all her time to my dog while I'm out getting lunch and when I get back an hour later my pet is happy to see me and ready to go. There's never any waiting involved unlike other groomers that expect you to leave your dog all day because they can't manage their time properly. Nancy is great with my dog, and the extra drive time is worth it considerting the high level of service I receive each and every time I visit.
