I read all the reviews and decided to try it out before I sign up for a membership. My car had caked on bugs and grime after weeks of driving and baking in the sun. I signed up for the cheap basic and it came out with still plenty of bugs on the front bumper and some overall spots, but that's on me. The BASIC states it's for general dust and dirt - I should have upgraded. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But both points of contact with staff were friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and most importantly I watched as the "wash woman" made an adjustment on the equipment so the giant roller was deactivated for my aftermarket Thule racks. I have had the opportunity to use Happy's Drive Thru Carwash a couple of times. I usually get the medium rate wash, the end result is good for an automatic car wash. This is THE WORST car wash! You could drive through 10 times and your car would still be dirty after. The "pre spray" does absolutely nothing and neither do the neon lights or soap. I was told that there was a Memorial Day Sale and that I would receive a month of unlimited car washes for $10. I've been to this car wash a couple times before and the eight dollar car wash and $12 car wash are really good deals!! I did the $12 one today, since I needed my rims to be cleaned. They have a clean area to dry off your car or even use their vacuum. I just wish it was shaded but this morning it was nice and overcast so I didn't sweat too much drying off my car. I do wish the automatic air dryers lasted a little bit longer or maybe it's a fact I have a small SUV, but there was water all over my car especially on the trunk side. Went into Happy's Drive-thru car wash last Saturday and while inside my side mirror was completely ripped off of my car. I'm a regular of this establishment and sadly won't be returning. I'm not the type to yelp about places because I understand things happen and everything can't go perfectly but the manager never got back to me and it wasn't until the following Saturday that the assistant manager reached out to tell me that they will not pay for the damage that THEY did. C'mon guys. The dryer has been broken for well over a month now. The only one of the drying rollers that work is the overhead one which doesn't even touch the hood of the car, touches maybe the first third of the roof of the car, and then stops. It did the same thing when Wash-2-Go operated this place. Either replace the machinery or fix it. My car gets dirty within an hour of leaving because it's not dried properly. What am I paying for? I'll go through there again in the next day or two and take photos of the dryer, post them, and allow anyone wondering how the new operators are handling this to see for themselves. Five star review specifically for Jasmar who demonstrated exceptional customer service. He was able to succintly describe their different packages without any pressured upselling. I thought something may have flown off my car during the wash and Jasmar immediately offered to check inside the tunnels to look for them. After I said it was my first visit, he took time to familiarize me with their additional and free services; mat washers, towels, vacuums, and cold water bottles. The overall experience exceeded my expectations for a business with an average Yelp rating. Highly recommend. Just a word of caution that their washer and dryer are really strong. Be mindful of that and proceed at your own risk if you have an older vehicle with loose parts. read more

I used to go to another car wash in San Jose, so when I moved to the area here and saw there was only one location in the local area that had a monthly subscription and was an automated wash, I figured they probably had a monopoly of the area and did whatever they wanted. Rolling through it, I was happily surprised by this carwash. Larger space than the prior one I went to, cleaner, more organized, and the wash itself did a better job - for a cheaper overall price than San Jose. Plus they have a mat cleaner machine, towels and a fridge of free water bottles - which was a nice extra touch. Signing up was equally easy, though I drove through when there was someone at the Kiosk already, who walked me through the whole thing, but it's straightforward as could get. I didn't see anything broken inside the car wash like the dryer so that's been fixed since the last reviews I read, and it was a pretty powerful wash all in all. Had to fold in mirrors or they'd get pushed out of place, since it seems the rollers roll in the opposite direction mirrors fold into. That's the only thing I'd warn about - secure your mirrors before going in. Overall 10/10, delivers on everything I'd hope for. read more

So frustrated! Something has changed in their system and it is now breaking the same part of my car. The last time I got a car wash, it broke my rear windshield wiper. I chalked it up to "it was needing to be replaced anyway." I got it replaced and didn't think twice about it. Fast foreword to the next month and I ran my car through the car wash again and it broke it again!! I have been going to this car wash for years and this has happened twice in a row. Things are not the same since they got new equipment. The dry roller has often not working and now the machines are bending the rearview mirrors back against the car. This can be a danger if you don't notice it until you get back on the freeway and try to change lanes. This car wash is the best in Sonoma County! I've tried many and there isn't one that comes close to the level of service that Happy's provides. Prices are reasonable and I can vacuum the inside of my own car which I need to do weekly. The vacuums have super suction and are always in working order. There's even a machine that cleans car rugs. The staff are well trained, polite and knowledgeable. I have to wash my car weekly because I don't have a garage and I transport my snacking toddler grandsons to and from daycare. Happy's offers a membership club that allows me (for a nominal fee) to have my car washed as many times per month as needed. I highly recommend Happy's! read more

First time going to this car wash and I was pleasantly surprised. I finally found a wash that cleans my car properly. With other places I have tried my car is always left with dust especially in the back window and trunk. My car was spotless after going through this wash. Most car washes lightly mist your car with water but this one has some nice power to it which is what gets all the dirt off. The staff is great, they greet you with a smile and provide great costumer service. I bought the wash me clean option and was highly satisfied. Definitely found my new car wash go to. read more

The car wash never completely washes the soap off your car nor does it dry it completely. The vacuums NEVER work! I have to change stations every single time at least 3 times until I find a vacuum station that works! My custom license plate never gets read by the machine, so I have to wait in line for help every single time! They say they put it into the system to register next time and it never does. It used to be better but after changing to "Happy Wash" I've been disappointed every time! read more

The employees that work there are very nice and helpful. I have been there numerous times. When they first opened, I had to go through twice because something was faulty. Went through and all was good. Next several times uneventful, worked well. I brought my convertible through, as I had driven through the previous carwash many times. Happy had, at that time, o brush that swiveled to clean the top of the car, and it tore up my top. Not to a point where it leaks, bit noticeably tore up threads and left spin marks. Day before yesterday when I went through, the carwash just shut down for a few mi uses, with three cars in it. However, it was short lived and my car was clean when I came out. They did give me that carwash for free. I noticed they removed the rotating roof cleaners and just have those mop like things (much better for paint jobs and ragtops). For the convenience of just driving through and having decent people to assist, I would really give it a 3.5. It's only been there a short while and I alone have experienced more than my share of issues there, so a 3.5 is what I would give it, with time to improve. read more
