I went back to this car wash yesterday but forgot that I had visited years ago and left a detailed review. It seems like not much has changed. I found their website and the deals offered on the website are what convinced me to get my car washed at Santa Rosa ProWash. The manager's special online caught my eye but when I got to the car wash, they said that they didn't offer that anymore (same thing they said to me years ago). It seems that bait and switch is their general MO I ended up getting a full service car wash because I wanted them to clean both the interior and exterior. Surprisingly they did a great job on the interior but the exterior could use another wash already! I didn't have the time or the patience to ask them to run it through again, so I just let it be. My car exterior is mostly clean... I tipped the fellow who cleaned my interior, and that was it. Now I've been here twice over several years and I need to just stick with my regular spot in Rohnert Park. You know the saying, fool me once... They do a good enough job, but for the $45/$50 with tip I paid, and the results I got, I should've gone elsewhere. read more

Paid for Clay & Wax -- Was Told "Too Old," Then Fixed It Myself 1. Clay Magic & Wax $150 - 1star 2. Seats shampooed $89 - 5 stars 3. Carpets shampooes $89 - 4 stars (they forgot to do the trunck carpet) 4. Headlamp restoration - 5 stars Total $350 plus tip They claimed the dirt and grime that was still left on my car after they detailed it could not be removed yet as you can see it did. I paid for the "Clay Magic & Wax" service and specifically pointed out rough, contaminated areas on my car when I picked it up. Instead of addressing it, I was told the dirt "could not be removed" because my car is a 2013. That is simply not true. I went home, used a basic detail spray and a clay pad, and within minutes removed most of what I was told was "impossible." I documented it with photos and video -- the clay pad was pulling off significant contamination immediately. Now my paint feels completely smooth, like glass -- which is exactly what a proper clay service is supposed to achieve. Let's be clear: * This was not permanent damage * This was not "because the car is old" * This was removable surface contamination that should have been handled during the service The explanation I was given was inaccurate at best and misleading at worst. If I can correct the issue myself in minutes, there's no reason it should have been left behind after a paid professional service. I paid for a clay treatment and ended up doing the actual work myself. I have photo and video proof of everything. If you're considering this place, check your paint carefully before leaving -- because if you don't, you may be told things "can't be removed" when they absolutely can. Since I had to clean the outside of my car which took several hours I would like a $150 refund for the clay magic and wax that I apparently didn't get. Lastly, I have come here for years for the quick car wash and even the quick detailing because it is priced fair for a decent job but when I pay $150 for a job I expect the outside of the car to be clean and to not be fed a lie probably because I am a woman that dirt and grime can't come off because the car is old. read more

My mom told me about this place and it was near an errand so I gave it a shot. I just wanted an exterior wash and an interior vacuum, but there wasn't a clear menu option for that. Like another reviewer suggested, I wish the menu had been closer to the line area. The salesman (who came to my car in the line, like at In-N-Out) suggested the #1, a full service wash for $60, and I was a bit flustered from the long line and assumed that was the option for the things I asked for, so I just agreed. As I approached the menu up close, the full service was a lot more services than I asked for, but I had already paid for it so there wasn't much to do. The signs also advertise a 30 cent/gallon gas discount, so I figured filling up for a little less would cut the sting out of my mistake in getting such an over the top wash. Unfortunately the gas discount does not apply to any full service washes. I asked the salesman when my car was finished if I just show the gas clerk my receipt to get the gas discount, and he nodded yes and wished me well. So I did, but the clerk said the discount only applies to exterior washes-- not the washes that include interior services. (why?? That seems like a weird rule, and the advertising and signage is extremely misleading if that's true). I told my mom all this and I guess she usually starts with gas and pays for the car wash at the pump and it automatically applies the discount. So I guess I did the wash/gas in the wrong order. The wash itself was okay. It's better than a typical gas station wash, but not by a lot. I'm sure I would have had a better experience with clearer signage and a wash package that was closer to what I actually asked for. read more

Solid car wash inside and out. Paid $40...more than I'd planned, but they really did a good job. I stumbled upon this gas station car wash on my way to Trader Joe's. It at the 76 gas station on the corner of Cleveland and Industrial. Enter on Industrial. You can only see the price list and pay when you're just about to enter the automated wash - wish prices were listed/visible sooner. For an exterior-only clean you go through the automated wash and a few folks hand dry the car at the end. For the interior clean you pull back onto Cleveland and turn right onto Industrial and pull in again but cut the line of cars. This part is a little clunky, but they're doing what they can with limited space. I've been to another Santa Rosa car wash that didn't impress me with their interior clean. Splash works for a quick and reasonably priced exterior-only clean. But glad to have found this option for when I need an interior clean done with care. read more

i got the mini detail with the full service wash for $50 and my car looks brand new! they do an exterior hand wash with microfiber rags and pressure washers before your car goes through the machine, which makes the whole process feel more thorough. after the wash, i pulled around for the mini detail. the employee said it would take about 20 minutes, and there were chairs nearby to wait. the mini detail includes a wheel and rim cleaner, tire dressing, floor mats shampooed, windows and dashboard cleaned, interior dressing, full vacuum, and an air freshener. great customer service all around and i am beyond happy with the results. i am definitely coming back and recommending to friends! this is the perfect place to come to if you don't want to pay $200+ for a full detail but you still want your car to feel like new. read more

Paid $40 for the managers special. It's an exterior wash and basic interior vacuum and wipe down. They did a decent job, not great. No one was friendly. The guy who checked me in didn't offer any guidance on what to do when I finished the wash and how to get to the interior part of the cleaning. They advertise you get $.30 off gas with car wash but when I went in to ask how I redeem my discount he said I don't get a discount because I didn't go inside first and buy the car wash and gas together. Then as I'm walking away he yells at me "big sign outside, must buy together". Super rude. There was plenty of signs advertising the discount on gas but saw so sign about must pay for car wash inside first to receive your discount and so of course I had just got in the car wash line first and paid for the wash there. read more

This is my "go to" place to bring my car and my wife's car for a wash. The $16.99 express wash is a nice price for a good wash. The guys working there work hard and have the soaping up and drying down! And if I need the inside detailed they do a great job, too. The price went up to $54, but in my humble opinion, its still worth it! Came here at the last second as my car badly needed a wash and an interior clean. I got the mini detailing package for a great price. Everyone that works here was super efficient and did a good job. My car looked significantly cleaner with all my surfaces being wiped and carpets being vacuumed. The only con was that they forgot to vacuum my trunk but they took care of it right away when I mentioned it. I'm definitely coming back here. Rather expensive for the service and very confusing. It's sort of an automatic wash. You stay in the car while it goes through the wash with a couple of guys sponging the car down at the start. As it comes out a guy dries. It isn't clear where to go after the wash for interior cleaning. One person did interior. Seems like he's done a fairly decent job. I just moved to Sonoma County from Southern California and was looking for a new carwash spot. I saw the good reviews this place had - one even mentioning that you could ask for a full hand wash - and decided to give it a shot. I showed up around 8am on a Saturday morning, and there was already a line into the street. On the up side, the crew here works quickly so that line moves pretty swiftly. While waiting, I spoke to the lead crewmember about getting a full hand wash for my truck, i.e., not putting it through the machine with the big brushes. He said it would be $50 detail service and explained where to go when it was my turn. So far so good. For the wash itself, three guys did the initial cleaning with pressure sprayers, just as they do with all vehicles that come through. Then I parked in the detailing bay where one guy did some final-touch cleaning, towel drying, and tire dressing. I was a little disappointed with the quality of the wash overall. My windshield still had a little gunk on it and there were water streaks on the body that they missed during the drying phase. More importantly though, they didn't touch the interior - not even a quick vacuum or wipe-down of the dash. I asked about this and they said that this was an extra service. In my experience, any "detailing" service, even just the low-end $50 one, should include some sort of an interior clean. I can see why this place is popular. These guys work quickly, the prices are relatively low, and your vehicle will be basically clean afterwards. However, if you're looking for thorough cleaning and attention to detail, then this is not it. I would maybe come here again if I were in a pinch, but I'll probably continue my search elsewhere for a good hand-wash car wash. read more

I was looking for a good car was so I came hear based on the reviews and ratings I was seeing. It is in a 76 station so I filled up and paid for the best car wash offered and got in a long line of cars for my exterior wash for $20. While I was in line, the wash guy came up to the window and I asked about an interior clean. He said it was an additional $35 and I gave him my card and he was able to charge while I waited in line. The line passed very quickly, I ran my car thru the wash then drove it around to the area where a guy was waiting to do the interior. What a pleasant surprise!! This guy was fast and very thorough. He wiped and vacuumed very nook and cranny in the inside, wiped every window, and applied a shine solution to my tires. He left no stone unturned and knew exactly where to clean. Been here three times. First time here was excellent and I was impressed with the service. However, the last two times I have been here for a wash, most of the employees have been rude and lazy. They rush me into the tunnel while I'm still waiting to get my debit card back. Then when it comes to the drying, they halfway dried my vehicle and only dressed two of the tires. I checked reviews for different full service car washes in Santa Rosa and decided to give ProWash a try this past Saturday. (I usually go to Splash down the road but I really needed the extra treatment including interior cleaning, glass cleaned, etc.) I couldn't be more pleased with the ProWash experience and the results. My 2004 BMW came out shiny and newish looking on the outside and super clean on the inside. The rubber floor mats were pretty much spotless, the leather seats were cleaner than I've seem them since I bought the car, and windows were sparkling. I drove during sunset later in the day and was like "oh my gosh I can actually see again"! The wait time was just fine and the value spot on. I went through the wash, and pulled around to have them work on the detail. And they were detailed! They even paid attention to the top of my vehicle, which a lot of places don't do (I have a small SUV), they tend to let it air dry and I end up getting water spots. They even cleaned the cup holders! Another thing that other places miss! They paid attention to the inside of the door frames too. My car has never looked so clean! $50 well spent. read more

They used some sort of cleaner/chemical on the dash of my husbands jag that destroyed the surface and refused to take responsibility for it. Tried to gaslight me into that nothing had happened and what my eyes were seeing wasn't there AND/OR I had done it myself. See the photos for what was a smooth surface is now a scratched and sticky mess. The manager said he didn't give a shi*t if I gave a poor review on Yelp. Based on other reviews, I figured I'd be really pleased with this place. All the guys were nice and professional, but I was not all that satisfied with my experience. I paid $50 for the mini detail service because I was told that it was the only option if I wanted the inside vacuumed and the dash wiped down, in addition to the exterior wash. I didn't really want to pay that much but figured I'd treat myself. Well, the vacuum job was a joke, my cup holders weren't even touched and there were noticeably large spots on my windshield and all over my exterior. This was not the mini detail I expected. They told me it would take 45-60 minutes, so I took a walk to get some coffee, came back about 25-30 minutes later and my car was already done. The guys were busy helping other customers when I returned, and no one was available for me to point out the areas that were missed, so I headed home to finish cleaning my car. I expected a little more than the usual $20-$30 car wash for a mini detail job. Not sure I'll be back, although I'd like to give them another shot, but I definitely won't get the $50.00 mini detail again because that was not worth the money and a bit of a let down. read more

I basically just paid $34 plus a five dollar tip to go through a three minute car wash that I could've done across the street at shell for about $10.
