It's always been a dream of his and he's giving it his all. The grand opening was back in April and has been doing great business. This smoothie and juice bar serves a wide variety of smoothies, açaí bowls, sea moss, juice refreshers, wellness shots and energy and detox drinks. The visits started out pretty good as we were a group of 12 coming into their establishment to start their day and we were their first clients. To walk in we expressed that we understood that only one person was working and that the timing may be a little bit slower due to the fact that she was the only one there. We put our orders in and slowly started seeing other clients of theirs come in the door and place orders. We could tell that some may have been online but let's remember that we walked in as they were opening. We waited an hour and 35 minutes to get paninis and smoothies and started noticing the people that had come in behind us and online orders were getting their food before us. We went to the front counter to ask, "Why are people getting their orders before us?" and we expressed that it was because they placed their orders online and that online orders had their own process. We were unable to accept this as we were their first clients of the day. We waited an hour and a half and people behind us and all non-orders were receiving their food before us. This was not just about the customer service and speed at which we received our order. We ordered a banana and peanut butter panini and two apple and cheese paninis, of which the bread was dry. There were barely any ingredients on the sandwich and it just did not taste good at all. This may be my first time saying I do not recommend a restaurant but this time I must say it. I can say the establishment was clean. It's an open kitchen where you can see the restaurant. They had games for kids to play and the ingredients seem to be fresh. I just spoke with the owner and got a better understanding of what happened. While I won't adjust what was said I will say the due to the fresh ingredients, situational challenges and promptness of reply of the owner, I will adjust my review as to not hurt this local small business. The owner was courteous, understanding and apologetic. She gave a detailed answer as to what happened and how they plan to improve.

Going in, it's very reminiscent of a Herbalife shop. They are not affiliated with Herbalife though, which is very much appreciated. Their menu is also very similar to Herbalife, with energy teas and protein shakes. But it looks like they cut ties with the brand and are doing stuff on their own. The menu was a little strange, they offered holiday shakes on their menu but you couldn't order them. We got a red velvet shake and the girlfriend got a custom smoothie. I got a waffle, and she got an avocado toast. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Took pics and dug in. The waffle was good. A little dense and heavy on the stomach, but you want a breakfast to be hearty to last throughout the day. The red velvet shake was watery, the red velvet extract was a little hard on the pallet, had a good chocolate flavor but a strong chemically aftertaste. The shake needed substance and stabilizer. A frozen fruit like açaí berry or banana would help homogenize the mixture, and instead of red velvet extract use a chocolate powder with red food coloring. Also a little bit of thickener like xanthan gum (used in tiny amounts) to help with mouthfeel. The waffle is good as-is. The avocado toast needs salt to help the fruity notes pop and combat the richness of the avocado. Everything bagel seasoning comes to mind. The owner was a delight, very kind and helpful. Which is why I post ways to tweak what she makes to bring them to that next level. It's not bad shakes, from a nice owner. Worth a shot if you need a shake

Venus nutrition is family run and I had the pleasure of meeting of one of the owners. When I went in today she was very helpful and helping me choose the shake that I wanted along with an energy tea because I hadn't had coffee yet either. They have a variety of standard shakes and also seasonal flavors. I went with the chocolate, covered strawberry, a standard favorite of mine, as well as the scoop of peanut butter powder as well. They have small, medium and large sizes with calorie counts between 200 and 500 cal depending on what size you order. It's a great way to get a nutrition shake when you're on the run and you don't have time to grab something more substantial. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other flavors. They also have a loyalty card which I grabbed because I live right down the road and I know I'll be back for more.

They have a large menu of all kinds of teas and shakes, be it fruity, nutty or chocolatey, they can make it. The lady workin here, I really wish I got her name, was super patient and kind, something tells me she might be the owner. She explained how the protein shakes are high in protein and fiber, while tasting delicious. I typically don't do shakes, because they're filled with sugar and other mystery ingredients. However, on the day I was here, I hadn't had dinner yet, and I was intrigued by the flavors they offered. I decided to get the Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Bread, now that's a mouthful of a name. My shake looked so good, and it tasted even better. It was mostly chocolate, but it wasn't heavy, it was kind of airy tasting, there were tiny chocolate chips that traveled through the straw smoothly for an extra touch of sweetness. I couldn't really taste the peanut butter, but I could see it. This was a very tasty and totally filling protein shake. I just wish they offered a few size options, as it was just a bit too much for me. At Everlasting Nutrition you can also find locally made products, such as honey and soap for purchase. I really enjoyed my protein shake, I can't wait to try more of their menu.
