Dr. Inouye is very personable, easy to talk to, she said she doesn't do surgeries and goes every Tuesday to Straub Kapolei. We will continue to come to Pali Momi, Aiea. Return visit in two weeks with more xrays. First time that I can recall hubs will be off work for all 3 holidays this year. He is always working on holidays. He can barely walk nor move his fractured side without severe pain. Just call me, Florence Nightin' Gail- chief chauffeur, cook and body washer. Enjoy your holidays and keep safe. This whole person type of care is just an example of his compassion as a doctor and this is also reflected by everyone who works in the office as well. This office truly takes you in as family and not just another patient in their files. Parking is easy as the office is served by a very large parking structure that is connected to the building. Paying for parking is also very easy as there are payment kiosks on every floor that take both physical and touches payment options. Appointments are fairly easy to get if you are in immediate need as they allow for same day or next day appointments if you call when they open. This has been an absolute life saver for times when you are feeling sick and would love to see someone right away.

Parking is easy and no validation to the parking tickets you get upon entering. Pay your ticket by kiosk located on floor 1 and 3. Not sure if there's one on the 2nd floor since I never go to that floor anyways! Waiting room is small and cozy so don't bring your whole family with you cause theres like 5-6 chairs. He seemed like a caring person and a good listener. I had told him about aunty's recent hospitalizations... and he went to visit her in the hospital! Located on the third level of the Mary Savio Medical Plaza, Dr. Harada's Office was clean, bright, and decorated with sakura (cherry blossom) stickers! The staff were efficient and professional! The doctor was very helpful and intuitive! He went over the medications, treatments, and suggested practical things for aunty to do... plus, he sent her to the lab for bloodwork. He was excellent talking to children and parents, and suggested certain shots for them to take and gave sound advice. Unfortunately, he retired and now my son goes to Dr. Ryan Chung. He is also very nice and will explain thoroughly if we have any questions. Although appointments are always scheduled far in advance, they will fit us in when they can if my kids are sick, and I am reminded by email or text for appts scheduled far in advance. The front desk is always on it and if I have a question, the assistant or doctor will call within a day, usually after or close to closing. If their primary dr is off, there are 2 others that cover so I don't have to wait or find another doctor. They have a 2 story play area for little kids, and a hand sanitizer in the waiting room as well. Paid parking is in the building, but I always shop at pearlridge so I park at the pearlridge parking lot instead.

When you do call them on the phone, it's a long holding time to get someone from the urology department. I called May 2026 to request a change in urologists since Dr. Lee was unresponsive and had an unreasonable rescheduling policy with Pali Momi imaging. They said they would get back to me with a "transfer of care" but they never did. They tried to get me to transfer to Castle urology, which is too far for me. I was told they are understaffed but THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM. It's their problem, and Straub Pearlridge has made no attempt to resolve this. Don't bother to get a blood test at this clinic. Long wait times. I ended up leaving after waiting for 45 minutes. The clinic was packed with people who had the flu. Shortly afterwards, I caught the flu from waiting so long in a crowded, shared space with sick patients. Years back, I ran into the same problem with HPH Straub psychiatry department. I could only see a doctor once a month online for 10 minutes. Their talk therapists weren't taking new patients. 15-20 years ago, Straub was a decent system. But for certain specialists and clinics, they have gone downhill. I strongly suggest to avoid Straub Pearlridge, especially their urology department and for getting blood tests.

You don't see that a lot. We met under emergency circumstances. I had called Dr.Jans office to see if they could see me right away because I was pregnant and bleeding heavily and informed them of a possible miscarriage. They were able to get me in right away. My other half and I were in absolute tears we knew our situation wasn't ideal. Dr. Jan's knowledge and ease and helping us get through this situation made me feel so at ease. Although I had to do an emergency D n C procedure I appreciated her professionalism and grace in how she was able to handle and control the situation. I was very nervous and through out the whole process she talked me through everything before she did it and most of all remained calm. I honestly feel like that day she saved me life. I made the mistake of mentioning that I was interested in having a home birth and she told me that if this was the route I wanted to go I would have to let her know right away because she would no longer accept me as a patient. My entire pregnancy I received dual care through Dr Jan and my midwife. Ultimately, it was going to be baby that would decide where she would be born. On the day that my water broke, labor progressed quickly and smoothly and baby was born at home with neither Dr Jan or my midwife present. Everything just happened so quickly, thank the heavens. Dr Jan was never notified of my home birth and she tried to contact me the week of my due date, but as a first time mom being freshly postpartum she was not my main priority. I reached out to her office a couple of weeks later and left a message but no one ever returned my call. When trying to make a follow up appointment I called her office several times and left multiple messages, again never to be called back. Finally, I went down to her office thinking that I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Upon entering, the waiting room was empty, and the receptionist was sitting behind the desk on her phone. She even mentioned seeing my messages but commented that she didn't return any calls yet. Dr Jan walked out briefly then went back to her office. The receptionist followed her then came back to say that Dr Jan said she would no longer accept me as a patient. Their reasoning was that I gave birth at home and didn't answer when they called.
