This was honestly the worst dental experience I have ever had. I booked what I was told would be a dental exam that included X-rays and a cleaning. The price was very inexpensive, which I was initially excited about, but I really regret not spending more and going somewhere else from the beginning. They started with the hygienist, who did the cleaning and X-rays. The cleaning itself was fine. What shocked me was the "exam." The dentist did not even perform a comprehensive visual examination of my teeth. My gums were never checked at all. The dentist basically asked whether I was having any pain or sensitivity. When I mentioned sensitivity in one particular tooth, she looked at that tooth and told me that a filling was chipping or had an issue, except that tooth has never even had a filling in the area where I was experiencing sensitivity. A treatment plan I was later provided said a different tooth needed a filling in 3 different areas. That was essentially it. My gums weren't thoroughly evaluated. They were not evaluated whatsoever actually. Other dentists probe the gums to check for recession or problems but that was never done here. My teeth weren't individually examined in any meaningful way, and I walked out not even knowing whether I have cavities or the status of the health of my mouth. I have never left a dental exam feeling so confused about the actual condition of my teeth and gums . When I later called because I was unhappy with the exam, they offered to schedule me with a different dentist at another one of their locations, which would have required me to drive approximately 45 minutes. I had actually been here a couple of years ago and remember the experience being somewhat better. I only returned because they sent me a reminder around the same time I happened to need a cleaning. This visit felt extremely rushed and impersonal, almost like an assembly line. Strangely, I felt like the hygienist was evaluating and discussing my teeth more than the dentist was. I now have to make an appointment with an entirely different dental practice and pay again for a comprehensive examination just to find out what's actually going on with my teeth. So the roughly $200 I spent here feels completely wasted, and choosing the cheaper option is ultimately going to cost me considerably more. If you're on a very tight budget and simply need a basic cleaning, this may be an option. But if you're looking for a genuinely thorough dental examination and want to leave understanding the health of your teeth and gums, I absolutely would not recommend this office. Sher Dental staff is not professional. I left two reviews before and someone decided To erase them. What's wrong Ms Sher? You do not allow me a professional in my field to leave a constructive criticism of your dental services? I had a Dentist named Ms Pham who did not do the right procedure for extracting a front tooth. You are suppose to give the patient enough novocaine to numb the area so that there is no pain. Well Ms Pham gave me only two shots of novocaine and it wasn't enough. A few seconds later I screamed and told her I needed more novocaine and I started to sweat and she got my blood pressure so high that the rest of the procedure could not be done. Ms Sher was never told of the big mistake and was a covered up. It is shameless that Ms Sher never tried to reprimand her staff and I had to go somewhere else to another Dentist. Todays visit was such a relief, my first implant visit, with Dr Pham. She quickly calmed my fears, and proceeded to insert the first part of my procedure, with NO PAIN, I was so emotional after building up so much anxiety, she even offered me a little toy to go home with- lol. My tooth cracked on a Saturday afternoon I walked in at 3:55pm and their office closes at 5pm) and when I walked in Dr.Pham greeted me and didn't hesitate to accept me as a walk-in patient even though they had 2 more patients. Dr Pham did an amazing job, my bond-in looks extremely natural. I am terrified of the anesthesia needle - but needless to say the Dr has the lightest hand i've ever experienced ! and I've been going to dentists my entire life. I'm new to S. Florida and was coming here to be a new client. I made my appt several weeks in advance. Approaching the date of my appt I had received FOUR confirmation text messages. I also responded and confirmed my appt 3 days prior. When I showed up for my appt (after taking time off from work) they tell me I don't have an appt. First telling me that I didn't confirm it then proceeds to tell me that I had called to cancel the appt and that I would call later to reschedule for me and my family. My appt was for just me! I don't have family in FL. So clearly this is a clerical error and they are definitely not verifying WHO they are talking to when they make adjustments to your appts or profiles in their system. What a waste of my time. New client lost. Better off finding an office that knows what their doing at the front desk. read more

I was under the care of Dr. Sher for over a year (see old review below) first impression of the office and staff was good. Once I actually started treatment it became a nightmare. Dr. Sher's bed side manners are terrible. There is no sense of urgency when patients are in pain. Dr. Sher did a deep cavity removal on my tooth that nearly hit a nerve, I was inflamed and in so much pain. I kept calling the office to speak/ see her for care and it took days for her to return my call. The pain was excruciating. Upon finally speaking with her she advised that I would need a root canal... the nightmare continued from there. After scheduling the procedure literally the day of, I recieved a call and am told that the Endodontist is unavailable to do my procedure.... remind you, I'm STILL in pain. Long story short that was it. No other suggestions, no follow up, nothing. I eventually called and requested my file to switch to another dentist. No one questioned me they just emailed me and sent me on my way, STILL in pain. This experience was a nightmare. I hope they have gotten better but I would not recommend this Dentist office. I don't care how many accolades you have if your competence and care for patients is a lack there of. read more

Dr. Sydney Sher did my root canals in 2017 for two of my teeth. Everything looked okay, besides the $4000 bill, until I felt pain in the same two teeth a year after. Turns out she missed one canal on each tooth and here we go again... I had to spend twice that much to get them fixed by Dr. Jay Kopf, which was introduced by Dr. Ardavan Saidi. At first, Dr. Jay Kopf even told me that I may lose one of my teeth but eventually, he did a great job reviving them. I had to feel a lot of pain and waste time by going to his office. If it was only one canal in one tooth you could say it was a rookie mistake, but she missed two canals in two teeth! Only time can tell which dentist actually fixed the tooth. read more

I have seen Dr Sher a number of times over the years since she opened her practice. The location is great. Easy to find and super easy parking directly in front of the office. It's a clean, bright, and beautiful office. Dr Sher has a gentle and professional attitude. She walked me through exactly what she was doing and and was reassuring to me, as I have medical anxiety. Her staff were lovely and the price was very fair and affordable, as I don't have dental insurance. She truly cares about her patients, I can't stress this enough. And she cares about her work.
