I had not received any communication--no letters, no calls--about a balance for over a year, yet when I showed up for an appointment, they suddenly said I owed money. Not only did they refuse to provide the care I needed, but they also made up this mysterious "balance" out of nowhere. How can a practice treat patients this way, especially when they're in pain? I mostly worked with doctor Larry Grillo and Manny. Manny is an excellent listener and communicator. with every interaction I truly feel, he's had my best interests in mind. For example, I wanted to get as much work as possible done in each visit. so as not to have to return often. Yet Manny made sure i wasn't doing too much work in any single visit as i had debilitating TMJ last year and to much work could retrigger that TMJ. I am the type of patient who can be very functional in real life but becomes a 2-3 year old emotionally in the dentist chair. It's pretty nerve wracking, and I took almost a year off from repairing my mouth because my C-PTSD emotional responses were unpredictable and traumatizing. Paired with my difficult dental issues, it took a lot for me to go into a new dental office. However, I was referred by a very good friend who really felt like I would be treated well and would be able to feel comfortable and relax enough to get said treatment. She was right! I'm very impressed with Dr Grillo's expertise and efficiency during treatment evidenced by pain free appointments and miraculous results. I really was happy and in an excellent mood throughout both of my appointments. The assistant even told me I was an excellent patient which in its own way is hysterical. Disappointing Dental Clinic - Chronic Appointment Delays…read more My recent visit was a letdown. They consistently delayed my appointment, leaving me waiting for over half an hour. They scheduled my appointment for 08:00 although the staff showed up around 08:10. Nothing was prepared, they asked me to fill up some paperwork which I already did online using the excuse that they having an issue with the system, the real issue is that they are not well prepared to accept patients on scheduled time and they don't value others time. The rushed check-up only added to the frustration. Avoid this clinic if you value your time and expect professionalism.
