Previous doc walked in, looked at my chart, wrote new scrips (high BP) and if I wanted to discuss anything else, make an appointment! Dr. Bob discussed my family medical history- parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and siblings. Only then did he proceed with a thorough exam, Rx review, and due to history of heart problems, gave me an EKG right there in his office and went over it with me before I left. If I call them sick, they have never failed to see that same day. If something comes up last minute and I can't make a scheduled appt. I have never been charged. I have gone in for check ups and before leaving, he would say "Anything else we need to look at today?" and I would tell him about a concern I was having and he would come back and check this out, too. I don't just consider him my doctor, I think of him as my friend. And lest you assume I was paid to write this, he has too much integrity to even think of asking a patient to do that!

Last year I had minor issues while picking up my new sunglasses. The lenses were swapped. They fixed it, so not a huge deal there. We're all human, mistakes happen. My complaint is for June of this year. Dr. Garcia was great. He adjusted my prescription since it said it was under corrected. Fine, eyesight can change, I don't have an issue there. I picked out a new pair, and picked them up. I tried them on, and I couldn't see a thing. I wear progressive lenses, so it seemed like the measurements were off. One of the girls checked my measurements and agreed they were off, and sent them off to get them fixed. Got the new pair and tried them out and the same thing. I asked if I could swap the frames, since maybe they are not a good fit. She said fine. She didn't offer to help me find anything new, so I found something and crossed my fingers. Fast forward to now. It's now 3 months after my initial appointment. I go in the third time to get my new glasses. I tried them on and they seem a little bit better. The girl at the front desk (the same one that helped me the last few times) said to just give it time to adjust and to try them on when my eyes are rested. I also mentioned that they feel a bit off, I thought they maybe just needed to be adjusted. After adjusting the nose pads, she said to just try them out and come back if needed. I don't want to come back a 4th time! There was another technician sitting at one of the desks with no customer (the office was empty) but there no offer to assist either. I finally just walked out. The office staff (especially the girl that helped me several times) is not very helpful. I always feel like I'm bothering her and that she doesn't want to be there. I was also told that Heather would contact me about the difference in my glasses and I never heard back. I don't know if I owe more money, or if I am owed a refund. These new glasses still don't feel right. I'm struggling to find the "center". They do need to be adjusted, since they are digging into my ears. For that, I'll just go to a different eye place for assistance. Hopefully I can find a place that will actually take the time and care to assist. At this point I don't know what to do. I've worn glasses my whole life, and I've never had an issue like this before. Transition period yes, but never the struggle to find the "center" of the glasses. It's been over a week, and I'm still struggling. I'm beyond frustrated.

When a friend moved here from a northern state, I recommended Dr. Williams. My friend is now 85 and also still healthy. They respect our approach to natural healthy living and do not browbeat us to take statins and other common drugs for blood pressure. While my BP imay be above the current norms, those norms have changed in recent years, and my BP has always been labile and only goes that low at bedtime. I do feel accepted at this clinic.

I've had several appointments and not a complaint for a single one . I'm seen quickly and every step has always been explained and my questions are always answered completely. Everyone shows compassion and professionalism while being pleasant and personable. Unless you are willing to go to Bascolm-Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Dr. Jacobson is your best bet. He PERSONALLY took the time to understand my entire medical history (rather than having some tech-schooled, slow-writing medical assistant who understands about half of what you are telling her and writes down even less). Even more importantly, Dr. Jacobson demonstrated the ability to think about how existing medical conditions may affect my eyes. After having lots of experiences with MDs of all types, I can honestly say that Dr. Jacobson is definitely a rare and dying breed. Not only does he have an exceptional attention to detail, really good communication skills, outstanding capabilities and the most current knowledge of retinal disease, treatment and care -- he also seems to be a genuinely nice guy. The other MDs in the practice seem equally skilled...I don't have as much first hand experience with them except to say that I had an after-hours emergency and had to page the on-call MD. My call was returned in less than 2 minutes! Dr. Rivalese also offered to see me in the office on Saturday AM. Impressive that they are so responsive to non-life threatening emergencies. Most other MDs would tell their patients to "go to the ER"...but the ER can't do much for eye problems except charge you $2k and tell you to "follow up with your doctor on Monday". Sure, having eye/retina problems is terrible! But knowing that there is competent, professional care is reassuring. Give Georgia Retina and Dr. Jacobson in particular a try...I think they have several locations: Decatur, Riverdale, Perimeter, etc.

She was very helpful and understanding. The doctor was also very pleasant and gave my dad the attention he needed. We left knowing what the problem was and was able to pick up his medication from Walgreens .

Visited on 02/23/2025 . Have ear nose throat infection. The woman came in the room asking me…read morewhich test I wanted. I said I don't know the usual whatever she made me lose some test so I told her just flu and strep she said those were negative and they use a rapid test too for flu and so they're not they're not accurate. The doctor came in to say everything looked all right with his hands closed. He didn't do nothing. he just sat there and so he wouldn't give me anthing except allergy OC . I continue to suffer for three more days till I got where I could drive to the doctor. My husband was working and I was too dizzy to drive but the infection kept coming out and it still shows up on test everywhere but there. . Otherwise he was against giving me anything and I came home and my throat kept hurting, and I can't wash it out and using over-the-counter medicines like my friends told me and it eventually started blowing out thick, nasty yellow stuff in my ears hurting. I was too dizzy to drive to my regular doctor and so I had to wait two days And then go, but I have an infection and why these people can't see it because they didn't. they did not test me or the test were no good and they shouldn't ask somebody that's non-medical what to be tested for I'm very displeased with this location is the one on Turner McCall Boulevard in Rome, Georgia. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money. They got plenty of workers comp people coming in. I guess that's how they stay afloat cause if you need help you gotta go somewhere else.. I'm serious. You can have anything and I'll say nothing's wrong with you. They did nothing for me. They're terrible. I will never go to any urgent care again especially this one.
