I don't know why, but I have to assume that there are no working MRI machines in the entire city of Woodstock, GA. The test was abruptly halted by the MRI Technologist. The concern by the Tech was substantiated. However, the issue could've been resolved with one phone call. Instead, I was sent on a 2.5 hour (1 hour drive each way) mission to retrieve a letter stating that I could move forward with the MRI, and I was never in any danger. Subsequently, the letter that I retrieved and presented to Summit Rome, was heavily scrutinized for validity by the MRI Technologist, at Summit Rome. It's as if the Tech didn't think I would return with this document. All the while, still in excruciating pain. Upon completion of the MRI, I was advised that the test result would be available for me to review via MyChart, on or around Nov 6th. Today is the 18th, and as of noon today, and several unproductive phone calls to the Summit staff, I still had not received the MRI test result. I would eventually find out that the information regarding the availability of my MRI test result, was not accurate. I contacted Summit, Rome via their website messaging on 11/13/25 @ 3:30pm for assistance, no response. A while later (also today), my primary Doctor's office took ownership of the situation, and made things happen for me. Because of their effort, I was finally able to receive and review the result of my MRI, and share the result with my Doctors. I cannot aptly describe the amount of pain and aggravation that I experienced on the day of this MRI test. There was absolutely zero concern for the intense pain that I was in, and no offer of assistance to retrieve the document that could've easily been retrieved by the Summit Rome staff, while I was physically there in their office. In addition, having no medical background, I have no understanding of processes, protocols, and procedures with regards to accessing, retrieving, or reviewing my personal medical records. My Primary Dr's office explained that I needed to give Summit, Rome my permission to fax my results to my Dr's office in Woodstock, GA. I don't live in Rome and it makes zero sense to travel there when the results can simply be faxed. As I spoke to, and explained this to Summit, Rome today, I was told, "that's not how this works" by an employee of Summit, Rome. So now instead of just pulling up the test results in MyChart on my phone (which was wrong information), I was expected to drive an hour one way to get a piece of paper, in 2025? I don't think I need to explain that this was an unsatisfactory response. The runaround that I experienced was unsatisfactory. My advice to Summit, Rome is this...when someone who has health insurance is in the worst pain of their life, this is not the time to turn your back on them. You work in an industry driven by people who come to YOU for HELP! Compassion should've driven someone in Summit, Rome to at least try and source the information, so that I as a patient could've had the MRI, and made my way back home so I could rest and recover. But instead you fell asleep at the wheel! You caused me more stress, pain, and aggravation. You showed no interest in helping me. You ALL wouldn't have a JOB otherwise. In the end, my experience no matter how well documented or not, was the absolute worst. Why not quit and find something else you can do that doesn't involve sitting on your ass and collecting a check for doing as little as humanly possible? There are people who care about other people, and got into the health field for that reason. Why don't you hire THOSE people and have them run your tests, and manage your office? If that's not working for you, how about you TRAIN your staff to find ways to HELP people. Even if it involves taking an extra 30 seconds of your time to help YOUR customers? I'm trying to be nice about it, but I wanted you to know the kind of headache you caused me when visiting your office, and the COMPLETE lack of communication and followup!!

I have had so much improvement since going to him. I just had a Viadisc procedure for lower back pain. I can now stand and walk. I would highly recommend him if you are tired of pain meds and want relief.
