Not getting WiFi in the living room! It goes in and out! Can I do anything to help the signal? There is a modem in the living room!

We came down to the beach for three days and paid for the weekly plan. We got maybe a few solid hours of uninterrupted Internet. We were getting booted off the network constantly!, and had to keep reconnecting. As I'm writing this review (from my handy reliable smartphone), the network has been down for HOURS now. Oh, and there is no way to call about your problem because the office closes at like 7pm. Looks like we're not watching game of thrones tonight. The only thing on worth watching and we can't now. Only positive part of all this, was the friendly tech support guy we talked to days earlier. The only possible reason I can find is that their infrastructure simply isn't up to the task of providing decent wifi. **checking wifi on the ipad once more, and still nothing. Our HOA recently contracted with this amateurish, underfunded, cable/phone/internet company. They're a JOKE. !!! They must have equipment that other companies have discarded. I've worked with and help organize cable companies and never, ever, witnessed this type of service structure since the 1990s. They've stretched their equipment to a ridiculous level. When I heard Harbor Communication's advertisement on Yahoo Sports Radio this morning, I made note of their web address because our firm needs some work done. I'm new to the area and have been looking for a reputable local company that we could call on for ongoing service. However, I got quite a surprise when I called late morning today: they are not accepting new clients at this time. Huh?! Harborcom pays money to advertise their services but when a firm calls because they heard the advertisement, they're suddenly choosing to NOT be available. I have never experienced anything like that in all my years in business. Not only will Harborcom NOT get our business - I will certainly not speak favorably of them to others. read more
