Within a month the flooring is falling apart and separating. They are creating tripping hazards for me, my husband and our family. We submitted a warranty claim that went absolutely nowhere. Floor & Decor had an expert come (that we had to pay for) just to tell us it was the person that installed the floors that caused the damage. This is absolutely not the case, my husband tested the extra planks and saw that the planks are breaking off with the barest of touches. Floor & Decor is doing absolutely NOTHING about this and refuses to acknowledge our warranty. Whenever we try to pursue this, they claim our case has been closed. (First red flag, the two times I stopped in there were no other customers in the store) Unwilling to help me, threw papers at me, and was not willing to offer a solution. Went back the very next day hoping to get help from a different EE however I was met with the same opposition. Mind you, I walked in with a smile both times asking them if they could help me yet neither employee offered any assistance and was extremely rude. I immediately went to the North Babylon location (the store had lots of customers) where I was greeted by the employees with a big smile and they assisted me from soup to nuts with kindness and patience. I walked out of North Babylon feeling like a valued customer-Five stars! The Port Jeff store would get zero stars from me if I was able to do so. Never again.

So I called Dunrite and was told they could either give me a new one or just have someone come and look at it - it probably wasn't a big problem. So I agreed to have someone look at it. They us Bodewell appliance services so they came and ordered 3 parts which were delivered to the house. when they came back to actually fix the dryer - they said they didn't need the parts - it was just a loose connection. At this point, I contacted Dunrite and said I just wanted a new unit. HOWEVER THEY FAILED TO MENTION TO ME DURING OUR ORIGINAL CONVERSATION THAT ONCE SERVICE COMES, DUNRITE CAN'T REPLACE THE UNIT. They are no longer involved - how unfortunate - they assured me that they would love to help me - however their hands are tied because now I was dealing with Bodewell. Dunrite was no longer responsible for the product they sold to me. This would have been so much easier if they had told me that when I was deciding whether to have it replaced or just try fixing it. Very disappointed and I won't be returning to the store for anything.

In frustration we left indicating our CC company would handle the dispute. MVP told the CC company it was the user & not a malfunctioning chainsaw This was on top of us giving them our old chainsaw to inspect for repairs, first. So in total, we had an obnoxiously condescending attitude when we sought their help. Were lied to us that we should just purchase a new chainsaw. Discarding our old chainsaw, AND refusing to provide a credit/return slip for the defective chainsaw we actually returned AND being out the original chainsaw to seek repairs, elsewhere. We strongly support ANY LOCAL businesses, but these guys are truly CRIMINALS. PS I tried to post his with zero stars and the system will not allow that.
