Just yesterday we went in to RH and bought a perfect table for $2800. Today we went to go pick it up and the corner of the table is chipped. Needless to say, we were not happy. The worst part about it is, no one seemed to care. Their attitude is as though it's an outlet, and if we damage your items, it doesn't matter. Not to mention that when we bought it the table, we had to inform the sales associate that it came with two leaves. They told us it didn't until we showed them how the table expanded. Ok, perhaps you didn't notice, not a big deal. The guy found the leaves, and my husband tipped him $20 for finding them. So, going into the store cost is money and time and we walked out with nothing. Again, if they cared about wrecking our table, it would've been much better. You get the feeling that they are just thinking, oh well too bad, so sad, we will just get some other poor slob to buy it. We're done! Thins is not the first time they have damaged our items when we went to pick them up, but it will be our last!!!! read more

I really like this store. I've been shopping here for years. When I'm in the area, I always drop in to see what they have in stock. That being said, you have to shop with an open mind. If you are shopping for something specific, you will not always find it. That's the point of an outlet. The inventory is constantly changing but you can score INSANE deals if you are patient. I stopped in today and was lucky enough to score a 5' Gold Starlit Tree for over 80% off retail. INSANE deal, especially considering I purchase a 3' one at their NYC full price retail store last Christmas for more than 3x that! I've done really well in their lighting department in the past as well. You just have to be patient and dig. They are ALWAYS having sales. Today's sale was an additional 25% off your purchase, but I've bought items when they were having an additional 40% off too. That's probably their best sale but that's also when their inventory is the most picked over. On to their customer service. For whatever reason, the same woman always ends up helping me. So, today I asked her name and I'm going to sing her praises. Donna, if you are reading this, you are WONDERFUL! Donna is always kind, informative, and she will go out of her way to help you if you have a question or need assistance. I will continue to shop RH for years to come. read more

This review is for the sales team as the furniture we purchased in the past was really great quality. When attempting to purchase an item from the store it was very clear that the obnoxious sales team had no interest in helping anyone. The first issue is to actually locate someone. The next issue is to have one of the uptight sales associates leave their communal area where they are gossiping and being unhelpful. When they are finally willing to answer a question it would be nice if it was not done in a condescending and rude tone. It was made very clear to us tonight that these women do not work on commission, maybe they should then they might actually do the jobs they were hired to do. read more

This is a review for the customer service and not the furniture My sister purchased a piece of furniture from them, it was her intent to pick it up when she was able to get her husbands car. Unfortunately my brother in law had a death in the family and they were forced to leave town for a few days right after. The store manager Mary Anne called and left a message saying that she needed to come pick up the item asap. I called them myself since my sister was still gone and explained the situation to them and asked if I could come out to the store myself and get the item right away. Mary Anne told me no, and that she was going to give it to the moving company they work with which meant my sister would have to pay another 100 bucks just to get it back from them ! If my sister didn't make arrangements to pick it up from them soon, they'd also charge her storage fees for holding the item. I understand every store has rules and policies, but I felt the way MaryAnne handled the situation was obnoxious and extremely rude. Their furniture isn't cheap, and I only asked for as few more hours to come and pick up the item. I called customer service and their own agent agreed with me !! But MaryAnne would not even agree to hold it, and she let the movers pick it up Bad employees will ruin a decent company read more

The products are elegant and nice looking. Quality looks decent. Customer service in terms of delivery and standing behind products is awful, bottom of the barrel, worst I have seen in quite some time. Products arrived late and chipped. Replacement took as long as the original, without explanation or a care for our construction schedule. Chairs ordered in December are scheduled to arrive in April -- I can make chairs faster than that! And when we probed for the delay in shipment, we were told it's because the chairs are being built in China and they had a New Year!! Stay away. read more

I visited this store yesterday in order to purchase a leather sofa. The selection was not great during this visit- I have been before and had better luck. The real horror story was with the sales team. My husband was sitting on one of the sofas to see if we would want to purchase it. I had wandered to the other side of the store in search of more options. The sales associate actually walked up to my husband and told him that he must not have seen the sign that said "Do not sit on the furniture". She then proceeded to rudely tell him that if he sits on anything, he has to buy it. It's a furniture store. How would we know if we wanted to sit on it in our home if we can't spend three minutes sitting on it in the store? Needless to say, we will never be going back to this store again. I hope that management takes note. They lost a $3,500 minimum sale because of the way that they treat their customers. read more
