I hesitated to write this review realizing that in doing so this wonderful little gem of a place might be overrun with vacationers, seeking their own slice of paradise. But I also realized it wouldn't fair to keep it all to ourselves. Not to mention, the owners, Joan and Olga, have done such an amazing job remodeling Harbor Lane Court it deserves attention ... The decision to stay at Harbor Lane was last minute and not without hesitation. We've stayed at a number of places on the island but this was new & I admit, I was skeptical of all the 5 star reviews. Silly me. It was well past check in time when we arrived but were greeted by the owners, Olga & Joan. An unexpected surprise, that made it feel more like a bed & breakfast. A+ Joan gave us a brief tour, pointing out all the amenities and conveniences, of which there are several. Seriously, you need pack only two things - beach attire and food. From top of the line stainless appliances to the backpack style beach chairs for your 1 minute walk to the beach, everything is there for your comfort and convenience. We stayed in unit #1, "Serenity" and adored it. Beautifully decorated with a spacious walk-in shower with plush towels and a comfortable bed with the softest sheets ever! WiFi that not only works in your room but at the pool!! We loved it! I believe you will too. To Olga & Joan, thank you for making our respite getaway a pleasure. We hope to be back very soon ... We loved our stay at Harbor Lane Court! There are only four units at this vacation rental and a lovely, heated pool for the exclusive use of those staying here. We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and it had everything and more that we would ever need - a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, cutting boards, knives, spatulas, serving spoons, blender, toaster, etc.), very comfortable beds, hot water on demand (with the best water pressure I have ever experienced anywhere), excellent wifi throughout the unit and in the central courtyard, extra towels and bedding, beach towels, cleaning supplies, dish soap, laundry pods, and pods for the cute little Bosch dishwasher. The furniture and decorations were beautiful, giving guests that "at the beach" vibe. The locations was excellent - 1/2 block from the free trolley stop. We did not have a car and had no problem getting to any location on the island using the trolley. The beach was much closer than I thought it would be, less than 2 blocks short walk and we had available beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and a cart to carry everything. Joan and Olga have also provided a laundry room, with 2 washers and 2 dryers for their guests. Joan stopped by every day and was always available to handle any problems or answer any questions. This will be our new base for visiting our son in Florida. Tip: the local Publix will deliver groceries for a nominal fee. read more

My wife, daughter and I were so very much impressed with this beautiful resort. And the beaches are the most beautiful we've experienced. No more Myrtle Beach now that we've experenced Harbor Lane. It is well worth the extra drive from North Carolina to Florida to enjoy this wonderful island and pristine accommodations. Joan and Olga were the most hospitable host you could ever imagine. They go the extra mile to make sure guest have everything needed and more than you could even expect. The beautiful furnishings are all like new and the beds and pillows will definitely add to your relaxing trip. Extra attention was given to the decor in all of our rooms and to the outside grounds as well. You get to enjoy the modern conveniences with a little nastalgic Florida atmosphere that still exist on the resort. Joan and Olga even arranged for their neighbor Tony to take us out on a chartered fishing trip into the gulf. My hats off to Captain Tony as well. I could write a novel about our experience but I most highly recommend this new found vacation spot to anyone who wants to go experience an island getaway with so much to do and see at a most reasonable price. My family of 5 spent a long weekend at this resort the weekend after Thanksgiving; we had a great relaxing time! We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit which provided my family with all of the space we needed. The kids loved their room with the bunk beds, television, desk and private bathroom. It was nice to be in close proximity to the kids while equally enjoying our own spaces. While preparing meals I loved that I could see the pool from the kitchen (which was surprisingly very warm in late November thanks to the heated feature). The unit was wonderfully updated, light and bright. All of the comforts of home were all thought out, making staying here oh so pleasant. I even enjoyed the on site laundry room with 2 sets of washers and dryers allowing me to do all of our laundry in a short time. We took daily walks to enjoy the beach which was much closer than we anticipated. The island it gorgeous and this proved to be a wonderful place to compliment the relaxing nature of Anna Maria. Great place! My husband and I vacationed here for a week in March 2017. We loved this place. Our one bedroom unit had just been renovated and it was beautiful! The sitting area was perfect for relaxing in the evening. The kitchen had all new appliances and lacked nothing! The bedroom was spacious with a queen sized bed that was so comfortable. The bathroom featured a huge shower which was great. Harbor Lane Court has 4 units so it feels private and tranquil. The courtyard is nicely landscaped with chairs for relaxing . The owners have decorated the courtyard with little lights that twinkle at night. There are outdoor showers which are very convenient when you return from the beach, or after a swim in the pool. I love that the owners have thought of everything that travelers might want or need. There are beach chairs, and a laundry room too. The beach is close by, an easy 2 block walk. The sunsets are beautiful at the beach. This was a perfect vacation spot. I can't wait to return! read more

Amazing place to stay on Anna Maria Island. Recently remodeled from top to bottom, well thought out with you in mind to make your time there as nice as possible. The kitchen is beautiful with high end appliances and stocked with absolutely everything you will need. Loved the large walk in glass shower. Bed and furniture were very comfortable. Lovely decor. With multiple seating options we enjoyed privacy on the patio. Very nice pool area and laundry room. The pool has a couple of long,wide steps that is a perfect area for young children to play in the water. The owners are amazing & will do whatever they can to make your stay the best it can be. We loved being able to walk across the street and then 2 short blocks to the beach! No need to get into Florida traffic to get there. Trolley stops were close by which we used frequently to take long walks on the many beaches on the Island. We definitely will be returning to Harbor Lane in the future. read more

Harbour Lane Court - what an amazing place to stay! We have stayed 2 weeks in September 17 in a one bedroom unit which was perfectly equipped and super clean. The owners, Joan and Olga, have thought of everything to make a vacation perfect. A laundry room, laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, paper towels, coffee filters, salt&pepper, cleaners, enough towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach trolley, Gas-BBQ, cable TV, reliable high-speed WiFi and more is provided free of charge. The beautiful beach, which is never crowded, is an easy 3 minute walk away. We stayed there throughout the hurricane Irma, and Joan&Olga kept us well informed and were always reachable. They were so generous to extend our stay for the nights we had to evacuate to Orlando. Luckily Irma did only very small damage on Anna Maria Island. We rented the 2BR, 2BA unit for four nights. Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Comfortable beds. Updated bathrooms with large showers. Every amenity you could need were provided. Fluffy towels, nice dishes and cooking items, trash bags, paper products, soaps, etc. Nice laundry facilities. Very thoughtful touches throughout the condo. Loved the magnifying mirror in bathroom. Pride of ownership was evident throughout. Very nice pool, plus pergolas and grills. Beautifully landscaped property. Nice laundry facilities. Convenient parking. Short walk to the beach, and all beach items provided (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, coolers, beach toys, towels). Joan was very welcoming, attentive and responsive. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Anna Maria isn't only the most beautiful island in Florida (or elsewhere) with the best beach around the world that I've ever been to, but staying at Harbor Lane Court will make your vacation a dream come true. The apartment is spotlessly clean like I've never experienced in any other place with so much love to detail and well thought-through extras so that you surely won't miss anything and are prepared for everything. The same goes for everything on the property, the complete outside area, the pool, laundry room, outside shower and beach equipment are well taken care of, usually by the owner herself who checks in daily to make sure everything is immaculate. Even when I'm thinking hard I can't find anything that isn't like I want it to be and I have no suggestions of what to improve - it's perfect!!! read more

To say that this is a little known hidden GEM of a resort vacation inn does no justice to it. I was anticipating a nicely appointed stay-cation from the website depiction. But BOY was it way better than that! Our villa Sanctuary #3 was fashionably appointed with every possible modern appliance & individual courtesy effects imaginable. There was all kitchen utensils, coffee filters and all necessary additives,bath needs and beauty extras, beach items and cart to use for the short 2 block walk to Holmes Beach, heated pool and landscaped courtyard and seating area just perfect for that cup of coffee in the AM. If it sounds too good to be true.... think again!!!!! I wish my stay could begin again RIGHT now. Don't just believe me, get a reservation ASAP and see for yourself !!!! read more

This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island and we couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. EVERYTHING was pristinely cared for exceptionally clean. You can tell that the owners love this place and that meticulous thought and planning went into every aspect of this charming 4-unit complex. The location is exceptional - centrally located on the island and a short one block stroll down a quiet side street to get to a pristine beach. The owners provided everything necessary for a great day on the beach including a wagon to transport gear, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels and a cooler. This was our second time staying here. This place is heavenly and relaxing. The rooms are immaculate and everything you need is right there. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud it was amazing. The pool is an added pleasure after a day at the beach you come back and take and outdoor shower and get in the pool. This was, by far, a perfect experience! The ladies take exceptional care of this gorgeous place. The rooms had everything we needed and more as far as supplies. It was so clean!!!! That's super important for me. The laundry facilities and supplies to wash your clothes were provided and such a great amenity. It was extremely private and perfect! You will NOT be disappointed. The pool is beautiful too and was the perfect temp. There is not one thing we could find at all wrong. We will be back here and were extremely pleased. I travel the world and especially the US a lot, but I never stayed in a place like this. It truly is like coming home. Absolutely everything is like I would do it myself,even better. It is stunningly clean, the interior is soo beautiful, and there is everything you can think of, even old towels to clean up chairs or similar outside. And the equipment for the beach, priceless! We have stayed here every year since they renovated and opened in 2017. This will be our 4th year in a row next week! What a gem! It's clean, it's cozy, everything is nice and new, you have your own pool with only a few other possible guests and the beach is a block away! They have thought of everything too. This is a lovely 4 unit beach cottage resort. Recently renovated, it has everything you need for a week's stay. Check the list of supplies before you pack. A lot is already supplied. The owner is local and very attentive to making your stay a wonderful experience. It's a very short walk to the beach and only slightly longer to reach nearby shopping and restaurants. The resort has a small pool and each unit has its own outside shower. We would certainly stay here again. read more

We just returned from our Harbor Lane Court rental on Anna Maria Island. We loved the property and it met all of our needs! We just spent a week at this lovely beach getaway. It has everything you could possibly want: close to the beach (one block away), clean accommodations, comfortable bed, nice shower, pool, reasonably priced, and the owners are super friendly and attentive. This is our new "go to place" when we want to spend time at the beach.
