Then on the 4th night of our stay we got in late and encountered cockroach in the toilet. When we looked around the bathroom we saw several more. They were small but there we several visible. We didn't sleep well at all but had to stay in the room. When we got u a couple hours later we saw a large cockroach just above the toilet paper holder on the side of the sink vanity. We called Vacasa right then and explained the situation and sent the representative pictures to substantiate our issues. He was helpful and told us the local property manager would be contacting us. We packed our belongings as quickly as possible and reserved a hotel room in Sarasota. Our last full day of vacation was a bust. The local agent could not be reached for several hours. When she did call around 11:30 am she told us she saw no evidence of cockroaches she told us that the picture of the large cockroach in the bathroom didn't look like anywhere in the unit. We told her the location of the other cockroaches and she continued to tell us she could find none at all. She told us the room is rented continuously and they never experienced cockroaches prior to this. She continued to state that she could find none. We felt as if she implied we were lying. She didn't use the word lie or liar but it felt implied. We felt very insulted. We have been visiting Siesta Key the same week for several years and we always stayed at the same place. This time we tried a new place and now we regret that we didn't stay where we had in the past. we had an a legitimate issue and it was handled poorly by the local Vacasa property agent. She is crediting us for the last day but she still insulted us by the implication that we were lying. We won't use Vacasa again. We feel bad for the next guests to experience the cockroaches because it is only a matter of time before someone else sees the cockroaches as well. We stayed in cottage 4.

Most recently we stayed in August for our family vacation and rented all 4 units. What a wonderful time! Located a stones throw away from the semi private beach & within walking distance to anything and everything you need in the village. You absolutely cannot beat the location! Especially with children. Its so easy taking them to and from the beach especially when a bathroom break is needed or something forgotten. The units are all decorated with a beachy vibe, well maintained and clean. The pool, grilling area, outdoor shower and laundry is great,and management is very attentive and accomodating.

Nothing else needed. Park right at your door & walk in to a first or second floor unit. Only 16 units total, all with direct beach view & access. You can view the individual condo units online and chose the one you want. Flexibility to rent a few nights or a week. We rented unit 71 for 3 nights. We preferred 1st floor as you have a small patio on the front and back. #71 is one bedroom but has sofa pull-out bed if desired. The owner has it fully engineered with 3 ceiling fans, USB ports, storage everywhere, kitchen with all dish-ware, 2 TV's, plus all the little items you may have forgotten to bring. Well thought out for many little conveniences. Bonus, it is only a 7 minute walk to the village where there are many shops, restaurants, etc., but little parking available day or night. We walked to the Summer House and the Cottage and recommend both.

From the moment I stepped in and looked out the balcony it looked like something out of a movie, the water was just a mere steps away from our balcony and we can hear the oceans crashing by when we opened the sliding doors. It was incredible! The rooms is my specific condo we're clean, organized, and spacious where as much as 6 people fit in it, with a full kitchen as well. I ended up working here since I have the ability to work from my laptop and the WiFi was phenomenal given that about 5 of us were on it simultaneously. Being able to work with a view like that was something out of a dream. I highly recommend renting out umbrellas and chairs if you are coming in the summer. It came out to $120 for the week and that included both the chairs and umbrella. Each condo is only allowed to rent up to 2 umbrellas but you can take as many chairs as you want that can fit under the two. The ability to wake up every morning and dive into the ocean in mere seconds was priceless. I also got to enjoy many sunsets from the comfort of the condo, while playing board games with the family. I wouldn't trade the time I had here for anything in the world. I will definitely be coming back and making more memories here soon.

This place always does a great job, there's a big swimming pool with a broad, super-clean deck that always had lounges for everyone that wanted to take in the sun, sleep or get deep into the novel you brought on vacation. Across Beach Road is a private access to the famed Siesta Beach allowing quick access for walkers,shellers, or just carry the provided beach chair down and just sit to watch the world go by from a uniquely stress-free vantage point. The units are tasteful,and we've found can comfortably bivouac 6 grownups ( as long as they behave like grownups). Our unit had a kitchen completely equipped to prepare a Thanksgiving feast, but our culinary requirements were only what's needed for a few breakfasts, and prepping food for the barbecue out back. That BBQ area is really nice, and sometimes becomes an impromptu gathering area for guests/residents to finish the day, and converse and confer over the grills with a couple of beers . The top advantage to me, is the broad open air balcony, that begs one to sit and watch the beach, the road, and the gulf while having coffee, or watching the sunset ( a SK tradition ) before starting the evening's activities. A few of the other advantages of Tivoli are its proximity to Siesta Village , a flat half mile walk, and only a couple hundred yards to the public beach. The grounds are lovely, always immaculate, and the place has an on-site manager. This year we met Wesley, new to this manager post, but a seasoned professional of the trade, and were so impressed with how well he could navigate us through any issue when we required help. He's been a solid addition to the entire Tivoli experience. We booked the same weeks for next year on checkout, and already looking forward to another great getaway.

Also feels like a family owned type of deal which was nice to see. I didn't spend a lot of time in the common areas, so cannot comment much on the state of the pool or tiki bar other than that they looked well kept. On fri/sat nights there was a solid crowd using both. I was able to find some secluded areas with hammocks and fire pits, which I appreciated. My room had a spacious and fenced back yard with multiple tables and an umbrella. There is smoking allowed in the yards and a few times I could smell my neighbors cigarettes while outside. Not a huge deal. Stove, kitchen sink, microwave, mini fridge, and tv in my unit as well. Lots of utensils and plates in the cabinets. Only takeaways I could note that keep my review from being a perfect 5 stars - the parking situation is rough. The front lot was always full due to how small it is. The back lot is unpaved and shared with the public tiki bar. Tight lanes and cramped spaces that are flooded with drunk people leaving at night since they aren't staying at the hotel. I didn't feel my car was very safe from scratches/bumps on weekend nights. Also the unpaved lot kicked up lots of dust onto my luggage and shoes, which ended up all over the inside of my car. It's gravelly mud as well so it's stuck to my seats and floor mats. Probably was worse than usual since i was loading my luggage after a night of rain. That being said, the parking was free. So take this relatively menial issue as you will.

You have to walk across a busy street to get to the beach, but once you get in the ocean, it is HEAVEN! I do like the grills in the back, we used them often to grill seafood and I had my new favorite healthy dinner. Big Salad with lime juice dressing. The whole big thing is like 300 calories with the seafood. Makes up for the multiple beers you drink in the amazing Gulf of Mexico calm and warm waters. We stayed in there about three hours a day, because it was about 80 degrees. It felt like a bathtub. The people at the staff were nice enough, I would recommend the trolley ride that she narrates, a cool little tour of the island, There is a grocery store about a mile drive away and a cool dive bar about 3 blocks away called Mary Ann's Castaway's. You have to try the Cuban place across the bridge, I forget the name, but look on Cuban in Yelp and I think they are 4 or 5 stars, it is awesome. The location is awesome, walking across the highway sucks, but life is good if these are complaints.

It comes with a parallel parking spot which is super tight and that is almost impossible to park in so unless your 007 I'd recommend trying to park on the street which can be extremely crowded, or book another cottage. They have beach umbrellas, bicycles, boogie boards etc. you can take with you to the beach which is just a few steps away. You walk over a ramp and it's there. The pool is heated and nice after a day at the beach. You also get a complimentary ticket for either two free cocktails or one appetizer at the sand bar which is not a far walk on the beach. The food could be better, but the rum buckets are where it's at. They're kinda weak so I always ask for an extra shot of rum. Now the beach. So crystal clear, so warm, just perfect. Reminded me of being in the Caribbean. There are tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance or you can rent a golf cart. We will be making our annual trips here to relax, unwind and take in the beauty that is Anna Maria.

They state that there was sand on the counters, we moved a couch (nothing states that we could slide furniture), dishes were dirty (DW was broken and we habd cleaned it all) and we broke a lamp (which we provided pictures that it was already broken). They refuse to credit our $50. BEWARE, TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU CHECK IN AND SEND TO THEM!!
