Stores that buy used items like this just aren't worth it if you're hoping to get a reasonable return. For example, if you paid around $300 for a bassinet that's still in excellent condition, you may only be offered around $20 for it. The store may then resell it for $50 to $75. While I understand these businesses need to make a profit, the amount offered to sellers felt far too low to make it worthwhile. In my opinion, you're better off selling your items yourself through a local marketplace or giving them to a family in need. At least that way you'll either receive a fairer price or know your items are helping someone else. Unfortunately, I won't be selling here again.

Many of her things have a special meaning connected to them, which I personally love. Many are woman-owned business, and the profits will support these women all over. When I purchase something I always get the story from Courtney as to what & who it's helping. So rewarding for me, you don't ever see that at those big box stores. After going tot he one in the Natik mall we gave this location a try! This one is much closer to us…read morein Boston. So this location works like any other build a bear store. We had gone because from our last purchase we got a free $10 off on our next purchase in the store. So we got to walking around and found one we liked. We then went over and picked out a voice box this time around. (Last time we got the beating heart!) You then wait in line to have your bear stuffed! When its your turn they then ask you if you would like your bear soft, hard or some wheres in the middle? We picked the middle. Seems to work best that way. They then stuff the bear for you! Then tie up the backing for you. At this point you then go and pick out anything else you would like the bear to have/wear. We got a shirt, pants and hat. You then go to a computer and put all of your information in. It makes the bear a birth certificate. Its pretty easy! Any young child could do it. The computer walks you through. Its pretty clear on its own. It then prints it out for you and you then go to the front counter to pay for your bear. Now this time we didn't have much reaction with the employees at this spot. Now normally that's not really an issue. The only problem is after they rang us out we saw a sign saying we could have had another whole bear for only another $5 for spending over $35 in the store....So they didn't wanna re-ring it out and told us they wouldn't be able to give us that deal. So that was sorta lame. If your a sales employee its your job to tell us about the sales. Mainly because its around Christmas and it would have been a GREAT add on for a gift for someone. Oh well! Over all the time spent here wasn't bad. I am taking 2 points off for not telling us about the bear. Just thought an easy reminder to us would have been much better. This is a locally owned shop in charming downtown Hingham. It is well worth a visit…read more In the spirit of "shopping local" this holiday season in particular, a friend and I stopped in recently. They sell an array of very reasonably priced goods: clothes, outerwear, purses, totes, jewelry, knick-knacks. I think it would be pretty easy to find something pretty and fun for people on the average holiday shopping list. There are plenty of gift ideas for stocking stuffers too as well as items that might be nice as hostess gifts. I bought two "evil eye" necklaces here...one for me and one as a gift. The woman running the store was a sweetheart, chatting with us and offering help. They do gift wrapping here which is a plus. I plan to return next week to see if they have any additional items that might help me tick off a couple of more things on my holiday shopping list. It is definitely worth a visit. And if you haven't visited downtown Hingham, I think it's always a treat to do so.
