I've lived here since Sept 2024. The apartments are pretty nice inside but unfortunately the combo of location and poor management brings the rating way down. It's a noisy area and the apartments have been under construction for the last six months which effects the noise level and parking situation. It's nearly impossible to speak to a live person in the office. They don't answer the phone or call you back, nor do they return emails. They won't make window appointments for maintenance either. The glass panel on our oven would fall out every few months and it would take weeks to schedule a repair. They repaired it 7 times before they finally replaced it. The first year, they had a management team that was really nice and tried their best. 6 months ago there was a management turnover and ever since they have been terrible and apathetic. Harbor park apartments has to be the worst apartments I've ever lived in my entire life, I found black mold in my kitchen management had a company come in and demolish my entire kitchen where my kids and I couldn't even enter, my stove is on the balcony, the turned my refrigerator off without notifying me and started a fire in my unit and never notified me on that either. They left us in that unit for 2days with no refrigerator on no stove my kids and I were starving and they still haven't compensated me and it's going on 2 months. They moved me into the modeled unit after I declined and told them to put my family and I in a hotel extended stay. They proceed to put my family and I in the modeled unit and it's more that I have to deal with plumbing, old pipes, washer and dryer didn't work, I have a 6 year old son and a 4mth old baby and harbor park apartments management don't care about their tenants. I've been treated poorly and I just mived in June of 2025 and I'm having problems and they have roaches and a lot more insects running around. Then I noticed black mold growing in my bathroom so not only is it in the kitchen but now in the bathroom. That my family and I had to keep going back to to shower because the modeled unit bathroom shower was clogged. The promise me a garages when I moved in back in march yet I never got on! I have over 20 work orders since I moved in and the staff has completely changed since. The office never answers the phone. Just ready for my lease to be up at this point. If you have kids or if you work from home I definitely don't recommend living here. Their construction even on the weekends. read more

I moved in in December 2023, since I moved in, not only have multiple things been falling apart. Including cabinets falling off the hinges. Water heater and regular heater going out multiple times, but the most crazy thing to know is the mold and moisture in my sons, ceilings and walls. The maintenance and the staff are dismissive and try to deny. I had to go and buy my own moisture reader & consult a mold specialist to get solid answers. The maintenance man told me multiple times there was no moisture, no mold, and it must've been from when they power wash the building after I moved in. Isn't it crazy how much they lied, putting my son in direct contact with mold, exposure to the point where he is getting symptoms of mold exposure. They cut a hole in my ceiling that they never came to fix or replace & as others have stated they definitely don't get back to emails. If you are looking to move here, I highly highly suggest saving yourself all of the stress and hazardous living. Every problem they have they don't want to fix they want to put a Band-Aid over it. Okay - I want everyone moving here to be very careful. Your safety. Your sanity. Everything will be diminished living here. I paid something like 2100 for a two bedroom. I thought getting a gated place in Vallejo would be safest - so I chose this place. Here is everything that happened to me while I was there: 1. My neighbor crashed into my car and they refused to work with police or help me with information needed to file a claim. 2. TWICE the maintenance people went into my apartment without any knowledge. One time I was naked and sleeping in my room and woke up to a note on my kitchen counter from one. 3. Raw sewage was leaking from a pipe outside of my apartment. 4. The gate is broken about 80% of the time so terrible things were happening constantly. Shootings. Bullets outside of my car. Stolen packages. 5. The washer and dryer rooms and SO nasty and dirty and kids go in and out using the restroom in them. They don't unlock it during the times that are posted so washing your clothes was a nightmare. I called them to let them know almost every washer was broken and they wanted me to find the serial number behind the washers for them. 6. Dead cats are everywhere. There is a huge colony that I worked of for two years there. However - a lot of them don't make it. I was getting calls to pull dead kittens from my neighbors garage. 7. They will not respond to emails when you have a concern. They literally just won't do it. You have to go in the office if you want help. 8. They sent me a renewal for my lease through email and the door. I emailed back and let them know that I would not be renewing because of the maintenance people coming into my apartment and the crime made me feel completely unsafe. I couldn't even walk out the door without debilitating anxiety. They then told me I needed to pay them an extra months rent before I left because I didn't repeat the date that was on the letter in my email notice. They tried to send it to collections - but after talking to the city I found out that was completely illegal in CA. 9. RATS. RATS. ....and more RATS! So because the gate doesn't work and people are gross - the trash would pile up at the dumpsters and spill into the street area where you drive. People illegally dump there and it smells AWFUL. I about lost it when I took my trash out one night and two rats ran past my feet as I stepped in what I think was a pile of rain soaked diapers. read more

Today I went to view a three bedroom apartment. When I walked into the lobby,It smelled fresh and also clean. As soon as I walked in I was greeted ,which is rare. was greeted by Marshall. He offered me snacks and coffee. There wasn't a wait. He immediately came to me, greeted me and was so pleasant. It felt like I knew him already. He showed me two different apartments. Both were amazing .the whole time he engaged with me ,explained, and answered any question that I had. This was a different experience than I have ever had because usually looking at apartments you feel rushed. They don't answer all of your questions and it feels like they're trying to just get you in and out, but he took the time to get to know me and that really made me feel comfortable. He let me take the time to go through every nook and cranny of the apartment. I like both apartments but I really am interested in one particular one the three bedroom with the third bedroom being on the top floor I let him know that that was the one I was interested in, but that I was not sure and he told me that I could take my time which really made me feel more comfortable because I was not being rushed into something on the way back I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen and when I say he made my day when he greeted me. All I can say is if anyone is looking for great customer service and luxury apartment with great staff then this is the place to go. I am giving my overall stay here five stars the office staff, Alicia and Marshall are wonderful. However ; at the end of 2022 we lost the maintenance crew that were there from the beginning. In my opinion they were proficient at their job and they had a relationship with the tenants. At the end of 2022 a new crew came in and we have had issues since. Waiting days for request to be filled or the work not being done correctly. Not being able to have your maintenance request filled makes a pleasant situation unpleasant as now your making calls wondering when their coming, complaining and your request still goes unanswered. California wants to charge high prices while they give poor quality. Were not paying $3 per month were paying $3000 per month and I had the glass from my oven fall out onto my foot. read more

I'm giving 5 star because when I decided to move I was told I will have a 3 bedroom that wasn't so nice looking in the inside I looked around the apartment that was my first option so I thought hey its better than no place then when it was time for me to actually move in they upgraded me to the pent house and was like actually we gotten u something better I was like ok.. with stairs and two roof tops patios I was in-love with it like ok.. and Marshall is so awesome so sweet and kind and patient I even gave him a few champagne bottles as a thank you l! While the apartments look nice on the inside and are a good size for their price, there are a couple of major issues that made the place unlivable for me. The worst issue is that all of the apartments have extremely creaky floors that the apartment management company refuses to fix. This not only means that you have to deal with your own floors being loud and creaky, but you are at the mercy of the people living above you. I was woken up at all hours of the night because my upstairs neighbors floors were so creaky and so loud that I couldn't sleep through it. Other more minor issues are: most units do not have a washer/dryer so you have to use the laundry facilities. The washers and dryers in the laundry facilities are small and outdated so they do a terrible job at washing/drying and are always dirty or broken. Additionally, the gate to the complex was always broken so it stayed open and there were a lot of complaints of stolen car parts and packages because of this. Lastly, there is no guest parking in the complex and everyone ends up parking on the street outside the complex which means even more car break-ins. The one redeeming quality was that the staff at Harbor Park was as helpful as they could be and communicated well but the company that owns the complex was terrible with communication and the staff had no control over much of what was going on. read more

This is undeniably the worse place I have every resided. The manager Margie is an obnoxious power driven person and very unprofessional. I paid for an additional pet deposit which was cashed, provided required paperwork and then was told I had to sign a whole new lease. When I questioned it I was told via email on Friday I had through the weekend or I would be issued a 3 day notice for an unauthorized pet...the very one I paid for. Saturday morning there was a 3 day notice on my door. The apartment was not cleaned correctly the filth from previous tenants keeps seeping through. The paint is peeling due to using the wrong texture. This is just a few of the issues. I see one of the leasing consultants left a five star review woo hoo! We were promised an after school program, club house and pool none of which has come to fruition. The manager needs sensitivity training to say the least. I have never lived in such a closed-knit community than this one. Honestly at first, I didn't think that the neighborhood would be great, but it turned out way better than I thought. It's located across the street from an elementary school, which is a benefit. Plus, the community also has a clubhouse, business center, playground, and fitness center. They offer after school tutoring for free and they have community events for the residents, which also helps bring us so much closer together. The employees who work here are not just employees, they're practically family and they sure do make you feel like one! read more

The staff of Harbor Park Apartment Homes are truly the best! They are very professional, friendly and you can tell they truly care about this community. This is the kind of staff that i am grateful for that runs the apartments i live in. They have special holiday events for the children in the community. This past Easter the had a egg hunt which was rather nice since these are apartments. I have lived in other apartment communities and never seen them attempted to reach out to their community like these guys do. For the residents who have children every year for back to school they do a back pack drive. Where you get a free back pack for each child full of school supplies. And for anyone who has children and runs a house hold every little bit counts. I just really love the out reach and effort they put out. The apartment themselves are quit large for the amount you pay for rent for Bay Area living. They are clean and they keep up with the out side as well. And living in a gated community is very nice. The location is ideal for people who have to commute. And living right by the bridge we get the breeze from the water and it is amazing! Love coming home from a long day at work and being able to open up my windows with breeze coming through to air out the house. So if your looking for a super caring community to live in and raise a family I would at least come check them out and see how you might like the community yourself. Ok so for me to review an apartment home, it has to be a great experience or not an experience I want to remember. Lets start with Pro's: There are some updated units that are nice and it can be cozy. The in unit washer and dryer worked really good. I really liked the updated kitchen. We had good neighbors for most of the time we lived there. Close to the highway to avoid traffic. Worked with me when I wanted to get out of our first apartment to move to a nice one. Service guys were great people Cons: Service was a pain here. They would forget our appointments and we would have to call back. The service guys are awesome but I hated calling the office. The people who worked in the office were not pleasant to work with as time moved along. WHere you live in harbor park is hit or miss. I recommend living next to the street so you dont hear the echos between the buildings. Our first appartment was an older unit and we hated it. Noisey ugly kitchen/bathroom no washer and dryer. Once we moved to the newer unit life was better but still had to deal with some noise. The security guards a hit or miss on responding. Be very cautious of where you will stay and visit at night. OH and when you move out expect to cash out around $200 regardless of how left you cleaned the apartment. We broke our backs cleaning ours and still got charged. We left it cleaner than we received it. If your moving to vallejo I would look for a house to rent from a private lanlord. Harbor Park charged so many fees and really broke the bank. Although the apartments are updated and spacious the property management is horrible, and for that I have to give them one star. I've been waiting to post this until I was finished battling the chaos these two women have caused. This is the landlord and her minion at Harbor Park Apartments in Vallejo, Ca. They are sneaky and very dishonest. I am only posting this to share with you all the horrible experiences I've had while living at Harbor Park. They begun over charging me for rent causing my account to default on their online rental payment portal causing my account to no longer be accepted on the portal. Never once did they notify me of the over charging. They led me to believe it was my bank causing the error. After calling my bank to clarify the issue, USAA ENSURED me that it was in fact the property management causing the issue. Marjorie Becerra refused to accept responsibility for the errors and charged me returned fees and late fees. It took for me to ask for a ledger (record of my rental payments) to see where the errors occurred, not only that, I got it confirmed with an attorney Alicia Jaramillo. She is next in line, she has been very rude and disrespectful towards me whenever I've asked her about any information regarding my accounts on their portal. She has hung up in my face multiple times and has screened my calls. I have tried to get very important information from her regarding my account and rental payments issues and she has never been of much assistance. She, with Marjorie have denied acceptance of my rental payments to push for an eviction. I have showed and offered them rent on multiple occasions and in multiple forms, and they have denied acceptance, I have had to seek legal assistance to fight for the avoidance of an eviction that they have pushed for whatever reason, even after I voluntarily moved out. They have tried their hardest to force an eviction on us and went as far as to tell the realtor we were working with that we were in the process of an eviction after we settled (I have to provide proof because they lied). They harass certain tenants and favor others. I, as well as other tenants have noticed and have made note of it. Harbor Park has a horrible management team that are only interested in their personal gain. They regularly have people moving out and not many moving in. They have raised their rent $100-150 every time I've renewed my lease. Rent went from $1,885-2,100 (they were charging me 2,300). If you are considering moving here, I advise you think twice. What has happened to my family is wrong and unfortunately we are not the only family that have been subjected to this type of treatment. I have personally spoken to multiple families who have been treated poorly by this property management team. read more

I have attempted to keep my comments about this apartment complex at a minimum since I am currently living here and was "Resident of the Month", what joke. I received a notice stating my lease was ending and it was time for me to renew. A $400 increase in rent to renew for a 10-MONTH lease. First, when I moved in I was assured that Harbor Park does not partake in this type of activity. That is completely false and when I spoke to the manager about this ridiculous increase she stated this was the market value and attempted to compare the TWO nearby apartment buildings which have amenities. On the website they boast luxurious upgrades. Maybe, to someone who has never had anything it is luxurious. Stove = cheap; dishwasher = cheap; bathroom = super cheap, small and not upgraded; refrigerator = cheap, counters = cork and cheap, upgraded cabinets = cosmetically beautiful BUT cheap, carpet = old, cheap and had stains on it which I am sure they will attempt to charge me for; blinds = cheap, closets = small; no actual dining room. I am not sure what apartment has granite but it sure aint mine. I love the wood floors and open concept, that's all. I do not have a washer and dryer but people in townhomes do and often complained to me about them not working as they are washing in the dirty, small washer laundry room, which you can only refill the card during office hours and no $1 accepted. Oh and the laundromat across the street has not been open in years so don't be fooled by them telling you about it. I have had countless plumbing issue with the 50 + year old plumbing, in the kitchen and bathroom. Recreation room, pool and gym coming soon, it's been coming for several years now. I am starting to think they ran out of money and want to raise the rent to compensate. My patio view the year I have been there has been of the slowest building project of the year the Leasing Pavilion. Stroll to Parks and schools are a benefit on the site they boast. I'm sure you can walk through the neighborhood if you want to get mugged, literally across the street is the hood! I'm from Richmond I know hood! Sonoma is the "hoe stroll". Magazine is the "hoe stroll/crack-head alley". Neighbors have complained of being robbed, beat, and disrespected by bad bae bae kids. There is no beautiful landscape there are one million old trees which drop stuff all over it looks like an unkempt forest. When I walk out my door it smells like dog pee, goat #$$% and garbage. There is always trash everywhere on the ground I have asked for it to be cleaned and I am tired of asking. The only nice landscaping is in the front of the complex. There was mold in my bathroom, although they told me it was mildew. I'm sure it was mold, probably why they are raising my rent. In my bathroom on the ceiling there were black circles forming. I called management with my concern they said it was not mold wanted me to clear the bathroom so they can clean and repaint. Why do you need to paint again if you can just clean the "mildew" up. So, I'm sticking with my first mind MOLD. By the way I am very modern with a slight case of OCD so I do not like dirt or clutter so it is not from being dirty. When I moved in, I had an infestation of spiders, which took 6 months to completely get rid of. This was the most disgusting thing ever being that I am arachnophobic. Second, I was told there was no assisted living, affordable housing and/or section 8. This new management has made efforts to get rid of ruckus and clean the apartment community up, WRONG. This apartment has become more ghetto and filthy as the days pass! Not only that but I was told there IS section 8 or some type of assisted living. I don't knock no-one for their struggles I just choose not to live around it for personal reason I do not need to disclose on here. I don't live anywhere there is section 8! Third, my 14 year old dog died from bladder cancer 2 months after I moved in, and when I told the apartments I no longer had a pet the manager has the audacity to ask me for proof. That did not fare well with her, because I lost it. why would someone come in a lie about something like that, its not like you get your deposit back at that time. Shame on her! The two maintenance men are very friendly and helpful and that's where it ends. This apartment has lost a resident who actually took care of the property and was not loud and disrespectful to the tenants. Now my rant may be over the top, however a $400 increase in rent is over the top and this apartment community is not worth that amount of money, as is. I feel like the governor or congressman needs to step in, because apartments getting over people are absolutely absurd. If I do not get my FULL deposit back there will be an issue. If you move in please take photos. I will have photos of every nook and cranny; I will not continue to be made a fool by this complex. If that is not sexual harassment or pure perversion then I don't know what is! One minute she will tell you one thing and the next minute she will change her mind based on how she is feeling once again very unprofessional. Things fall apart all the time, paint peels off, carpet is not professionally cleaned, and no A/C in the units (in which they didn't mention not once). there is an extreme thief issue and stolen car parts. they never keep the gates closed , even at night. i've heard too many stories of catalytic reverters being stole in the complex and unfortunately almost gotten mine stolen. luckily i caught them before they actually took it but they definitely did some damage to my vehicle. they need to up their game on the security. read more

My experience here at Harbor Park has been a pleasant one. I've been here for 3 years and there have been renovations to improve our unit which is nice... appliances, countertops, flooring, etc. I'm also lucky enough to have a unit with a washer and dryer, it comes in handy having two little ones. We like to take advantage of the playground on site, just wish it was updated and had some swings. We also like going out for walks around the complex. Everyone is friendly including all staff. She needs a farm pore thingNiise complaints which I got at 3:3o in after noon and daily , so if you got a family don't move her ,,,,this is what kind of noise complaints I got , 1.singing happy birthday to loud 2.talking on my phone 3.kids walking up stairs to loud 4.walking to hard 5 left a bag of trash in front of trash 6. Dropped a pan 7. Your son shook gates 8. I can go on and on Yelp would loose space if I kept going I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in my own home which I pay 2,000 in hood across street from track and shooting, I mean really , forget pool and everything else people been waiting 10 years for it... Ive been living at Harbor Park for over a year. I love the floor plan, they take pets.. the complex is pleasant on the eyes.. The other residents are friendly. They have activities for children. I love the convenience of the laundry room being right outside my apartment. And the staff takes care of maintenance issues in a friendly and timely matter. read more

I must say this was an amazing! The leasing person that you first see you walking through the office gave me a tour I can not remember his name to save my life lol but his tall with facial hair. Anyways he was super nice and gave me all the info I needed. He then gave me a tour of their three bedroom town home. And let me tell you that townhome was amazing and it was beautiful and it was to die for. We were in the three story townhome for about 25 minutes he literally showed me every angle of the apartment and what it has to offer. When I came here it was a super move and found my new apartment refresh and newly painted it was really retrofitted good except for the exhauster fan at the bathroom it was not carefully repainted because the contractors maybe was so in hurry to do the job. As I know I'm also former building maintenance I know when the works of every nook or corner of a building was done the job it was supposed to do. To say the least I saw some roaches during the night. But need to talk to the management soon about this. Hope as I saw in some reviews hope the management will not increase me with so unbelievable high rates in about a year. read more

I'd like to congratulate Alicia on here well deserved promotion as Assistant Manager. She has been an intricate part of the success of Alliance Corp and the Harbor Park apartment community. Her dedication, kindness and professionalism is well appreciate by the tenants. This apartment complex for the most part is quiet, safe, well maintained and the community as a whole with all the families, college students, singles and couples residing together and the best part is the mixed diversity of cultures and ethnicity. The Maintenance Staff (Supervisor Brian): Has again proved just recently that they can produce results in a timely fashion and are professional courteous and respectful. I placed a maintenance work order in and within ten minutes the Tech was dispatched to the apartment and resolved the issue. Manager (Margie): She has always been kind, courteous and respectful. Whenever I have had contact with her she has been attentive, professional and available. She seems focused and results driven and Manages the community so that the rules and safety of the complex are being upheld for the benefit of the tenants and owners. I hope that with summer coming there will be more activities for the children of the community as there are numerous children that reside here, This would not only promote the property but shed light on the Alliance Business. The staff is wonderful and friendly. I love that they are pet friendly. I love that most of the residents are friendly. The only thing is most people that have pets don't pick up their pets' poop and there is lots of litter on the outside. I almost made the horrible mistake of renting an apartment here. Thank God I came to my senses! The changes they've made to these apartments appear to be mostly cosmetic and even the upgrades are mediocre at best. Security gates are not functioning properly and remain open most of the time. Management is unprofessional and inefficient. Took two weeks to process the rental application! Even after getting approved they were unable to show me the actual apartment they wanted me to rent or even a model of it for another two weeks. Finally saw the unit 2 days before proposed move-in date and was completely unimpressed. While touring the property I asked if I could see a garage because I wanted to rent one. The leasing agent takes out several garage door openers because he doesn't know which one goes with the vacant garage, so he just starts randomly opening other tenants private garages!!!!! I was floored that he would do that in front of me, a stranger/prospective renter. People have their private possessions in those garages, how can you just freely access them without permission, let alone give a total stranger on a tour access to them? Quickly decided Harbor Park is not the place for me. After informing their management I was no longer interested, they tried to make me pay $44 a day from the time I applied for an apartment to date!!!!! So let me get this straight.....you want me to pay $44 per day with no signed lease/rental agreement for an apartment I had not even seen yet? RIGHT! read more

My family and I have lived in Harbor Park for about 3 years and a half now and I would say that the experiences we had in Harbor Park was immensely fulfilling. Margie and Alicia who were the managers/staffs in Harbor park apprtments had been with us in those years of predicament and indulged years. They would be very concerned at any issues that we had in the apartment. Luckily, Margie and Alicia resolves those issues as quickly as possible and made us live peacefully in Harbor Park. Also, Some fun things there is in harbor park is that there are a lot of events that we got invited to and I would say that Margie and Alicia did a great job in assisting and caring for our needs and wants as a resident in harbor park. Margie & Alicia was very understanding and they were far most the best people to talk to in Harbor Park also, Margie and Alicia were both very credible and professional at their work. Not to mention, all the staffs and workers in Harbor Park were very reliable and hardworking! I would greatly recommend Harbor park Apartments to a friend or relative! read more

Where do i start. This place is the worst place to live if you have a life. Playing music at 4 volume on a Friday or Saturday at 5pm is too loud, my rent in the last 2yrs has gone up by almost $500. My wife has requested for service for the last month to fix the dishwasher and we are still waiting. They complain about noise yet they have construction/garbage collections comes in at 5am and you cant sleep with all the noises. The wall is so thin that you can hear a fly sneeze next door. Everything looks nice, but they fall apart within days of moving in. I'll give this place a 2 out of 10. read more

I was very interested in these apartments until I stayed there visiting a friend for a week. The inside of the apartments are very nice. however the outside area is gross there is animal poop not only in the grass area but on the sidewalk as well. There are a lot of stray cats wondering around the complex, if there are stray animals then I am sure there are fleas. If you like stepping in animal poop and stray cats with possibility of having fleas and whatever else then I would say go for this apartment complex other than that I would NOT move here. read more
