This community offers a lovely living experience. One of the things I appreciate most is how quiet, clean, and serene it feels. There are so many trees and plants throughout the property that it genuinely feels like being surrounded by nature. The layout also makes it feel more spacious than most complexes--it doesn't feel cramped or overly dense. If you value a peaceful environment, this really offers that. The office staff are consistently friendly, kind, and supportive. They've always made me feel valued as a resident (and as a person), which goes a long way. In terms of amenities, it leans more toward the luxurious side--having an in-unit washer and dryer, updated appliances, and A/C, along with access to a gym, pool, hot tubs, sauna, and even a racquetball court, has made things feel really comfortable. I also find it's just a really pleasant place to walk around, with some beautiful lookout spots and views of the water. A special shoutout to the maintenance team--they've been incredible. Always friendly, respectful, and responsive. I've consistently experienced them as timely and detail-oriented, and they're very careful and considerate when entering the home. Club Pacifica was a pretty darn good place to rent for 3 years. I'd give a 4.5, rounded-up because it gets the big stuff right. Pluses: - Has always felt safe, neighbors are nice, and no issues that I'm aware of in terms of crime - Maintenance is *very* responsive and uber-professional. Grounds are kept in very good condition - The leasing office was super-helpful when we moved in and out and has always been polite and professional - Walls are pretty well-contained sound-wise and you rarely hear noises through them - Appliances are updated and work well - Surprisingly large amount of storage/closet space, including a decent number of drawers and nooks to stash things - Exercise room is solid and easily accessible - Easy interstate access and close to a Raley's grocery store Minor gripes: - The layouts of some of the apartments aren't the best use of space. Having a bathroom with no windows is a bit odd and the fireplaces feel like old relics that take up a lot of space. Kitchen is somewhat small as well, especially in terms of counter space. - The air conditioner and heating system are not the strongest and the airflow setup from them is really weird. They work, but it's pretty inconsistent room to room and not very efficient. - Fairly expensive utilities; budget at least $350-400 a month on top of rent for water/sewage/trash/electric/gas, more in the warmer/colder months. - Most of the extra amenities don't really add much--the hot tubs are weak and lukewarm while there's not really a community gathering space - Very isolated, even from the rest of Benicia--which could be a good thing if you like quiet, but not if you want to walk anywhere. read more

I was looking for a complex with amenities like laundry in unit, gym, upgraded appliances etc. I toured this place in person after much stalking of their website (which i loved the video tour they provide of the units online). I met with Vicki who has been very responsive of all my questions and concerns from beginning to end. The property is very very clean from what I saw. We toured another property after and I knew it wasn't the one when there were bugs everywhere flying and not as clean kept grounds. I finally pulled the plug to apply, application process went smoothly. It's hard to find a complex that is clean,an easy & clear website , & RESPONSIVE staff. My husband and I lived here for 8 months and loved it. The only reason we had to move is because we were both furloughed due to the pandemic. The grounds are always well maintained and clean. The pool is great during the summer months(even during covid we were able to use it). Huge huge huge shout out to the maintenance guys, Charles and Norm. Charles was always the first to come check out whatever minor problems arose during our time at Club Pacifica, and always with a smile on his face. I also really appreciated Crystal's kind demeanor and her always ready to help attitude. The neighbors were amazing as well. Everyone was very respectful of each other. I just wanted to pop on here and give a HUGE shoutout to the maintenance team!! They are always so kind and welcoming whether they are helping me with something I need fixed in my apartment or just around the property :) I had a water heater leak late last night & the speed and diligence at which I was notified was amazing. All of them were so responsive, and also so willing to work around my schedule to help me out! My water heater was fixed the very next morning within a couple of hours!! They even offered to fix it that night if I wanted. I am SO impressed. I am also very impressed with the communication between the team and how well they work together. Honestly, this team is rad! And I am so grateful to live in a place with such amazing staff. read more

I lived here for two years and when we left I was told specifically not to worry about our carpets when we move out because they "were remodeling anyways." However, when I received our deposit there was a deduction for "Carpet Replacement" I wouldn't be mad at all if they didn't tell me not to worry about it. My husband and two children never even wore shoes in the space and whatever was worrisome would have easily been removed had I gotten a carpet cleaning. I would have paid for a carpet cleaning too if I was not specially told "not to worry about the carpet." Staff and maintenance were awesome during the time we lived there however after this I am disappointed. read more

Kris did an AMAZING job on the maintenance in my bathroom yesterday and my family is SO happy and grateful for his hardwork. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was fixed and working at a 100%. He even cleaned up before he left! My fiancé and I lived at Club Pacifica for 2 years and it was by far the greatest rental experience we have had so far. We moved to Benicia in 2013 from the east coast and chose Club Pacifica without even seeing it. There were a few other options we had and we are so glad that we went with them. The staff/maintenance crew were incredible. Their response time was great. Each section of the complex had its own laundry area and hot tub. There was a pool and club house with fitness room and steam showers! There is too many good things to say about this complex. The people who live in these apartments are all looking out for each other so it makes the community even safer and very family friendly :) Hands down the best apartment complex you will find in Benicia and the surrounding areas. read more

Quiet and nice amenities in a nice location. There is a gym, heated pool, 3 hot tubs, saunas and racquetball courts. The view of the water is priceless. The staff is great too and they have a lot of community events they put on. For example; community BBQ supplied by the office, they gave out a free large pizza for each apartment one night, had a community garage sale, and breakfast a few times supplied by the office. They even have a text number you can text them at with questions. The maintenance guys were very responsive and very nice. You really can't beat the price for everything it has to offer. They even let us paint. It's a nice spot. I miss it so much. We just moved to the east coast and if I ever return to Benicia I would return here. Things I would change: -Keep the pool open year around -The cabinets very extremely tall and outdated (they would get stuck a lot). I had to buy a step stool to reach things and I am 5'5". I still couldn't reach everything with it. I had to reach everything for my 5'2" wife. My brothers couldn't even reach everything when they visited. Although, I think they were getting around to updating the cabinets in the units. (Very minor things compared to everything this place has to offer). read more

My first apartment ever and I'm compelled enough to write a review. Management here is amazing. Wendy Furness has been a godsend. We did everything up until signing the lease over distance with me being in texas and everything was smooth and easy. The apartment upon moving in was spotless. The view was amazing and the amenities were nice. I never had a single problem with the apartment. If anything was wrong, Wendy and crystal sent someone to rectify the problem immediately. The neighbors were nice, mostly established older folks with families. With my work and being away all the time Wendy even offered once to drop my packages off at my apartment though she had zero obligation too. And they just got a new fitness center too. I'd say it's the best apartment in benicia. Again I can't say enough positive things about Wendy and the management team here! read more

Club Pacifica is like being on vacation! Wonderful breezes off the Carquinez Straits that cool off the hottest days. Great staff both office and maintenance. Lately it seems like everything is broken and frustrating at their lack of urgency. Rent is expensive so you would think things would be fixed in a timely manner. Took about 3 months past due on getting the bbq up and running, heated pool hasn't been working for a month now, cars line up and the bottom of the hill to smoke which shouldn't be ok when cars leaving the complex have to go around the parked cars smoking, we are charged for water but yet their sprinkler system goes off at all hours (even if it rains) and they over water because the water is always streaming down the road and if you go in to ask about this new water bill they can't answer your questions so if you're going to make your residents pay for water now you should have consideration at the timed sprinklers and fix them. I recently moved out but lived at Club Pacifica in Benicia for 3+ years; View of Strait is great, gym is well equipped, but what makes this place exceptional is the staff - both admin and maintenance - and their professionalism. Attention to detail, above and beyond care of properties and ground, extra small efforts to make the place feel like a community - I think difficult to do in apartment complexes in general - all add up to living there a great feel-at-home experience. There is also very little turnover amongst the staff which is also an indicator that the place is solidly managed. Club Pacifica is highly recommended! read more

I moved to Club Pacifica in March, 2014. I needed to find somewhere reasonably priced to move to as San Rafael was getting way to expensive to stay there. When you consider that the average rate for a one bedroom, 1 bath unit in San Francisco runs about $3800 per month, the rent for the same space at Club Pacifica is a steal at $1300 per month! My unit has a full sized, side by side washer and dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is very large. Kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave oven. I have all I could want or need from an apartment unit. Water, trash and sewage are all included in the rent. That is another bonus right there as many other complexes do not cover that expense. Also, Club Pacifica does NOT charge pet rent! Most properties do. I love having a wood burning fireplace. On cold winter nights, a fire going in the fireplace is simply wonderful. Also of note, there is an onsite car wash station for resident use. There is also an indoor regulation size racket ball court, one swimming pool and 3 hot tubs. The main pool deck also has a couple of outdoor grills. Each unit has an assigned carport parking space. There are several spaces where you can go to relax and take in the beauty of the Carquinez waterway and off in the distance you can view the Carquinez bridge. Club Pacifica's office staff are always friendly. They remember your name when you walk into the office without having an appointment to see one of them. Their maintainence staff are extremely efficient. Any time I have had a need for a service call, they are out to my unit within a short time. The longest wait I've ever experienced here is about a 2 hour window from the time I placed a call for service until a repair person knocked on my door. I'd say that is uber efficient! There are very few things I would change if I had the ability to do so. My list of changes would be: 1. Allow dogs as pets. 2. Keep the pool open all year rather than only when the weather is hot. 3. I can't think of anything else! read more

I moved in here less than a month ago. Crystal and Wendy have been great! They answer all of my random questions and have helped the transition go smoothly including holding large boxes of furniture I ordered in their office. But I give a special shout out to the Maintenance Dept guys (Charles and Kris) who helped move that furniture. It was not a one woman job. They helped graciously and wouldn't even accept a tip. I thank you both profusely! The apt was very clean when I arrived. I very much enjoy using the fitness center. I can't wait for summer to enjoy the pool! The surroundings are very quiet and relaxing. It's conveniently located to shopping and good food. I have had minor maintenance needs that were addressed quickly. I'm happy I chose Club Pacifica to live! read more

My fiancé and I have lived at Club Pacifica Apartments for almost 2 years. We had just been thinking about moving to Benicia and happen to be in the area and decided to look around. We found a few apartment complexes in the area but just weren't satisfied. We were getting ready to head out and decided to make one more stop. We pulled into Club Pacifica Apartments and we were very impressed of how clean and well maintained the property was. The apartments themselves are clean and feel very homely. We haven't had much issues with things going bad in the apartment but when something does go bad or break the maintenance is very quick to get it repaired. We would eventually like to purchase a home but they are making it hard for us to leave. So we would like to say thank you for making our stay enjoyable. I wanted to wait awhile before I left my review of Club Pacifica, but after leaving here for 1 year I can say that it has been an outstanding experience. I moved here from across the country and the staff helped make the transition extremely smooth and were able to always answer questions when they arose. Any problems that I have had with my apartment maintenance, which I must say are the friendliest group of guys, has taken care of same day and been courteous and respectful. Special shout out to Herb, Charles, and Kris who helped fix the air conditioner (huge plus to have even though the Bay Area stays relatively cool) when it was not working this past summer. Lived here for a year & it was very pleasant. Kind staff, clean grounds. I felt that they watered the grass & plants too often seeing that's e are in a drought... at night the sprinklers would go off around the clock. My rent was already very pricey, $1635 for a 2 bedroom apartment, they raise the rent to $1715 which 100% was not worth it so I decided to move out. When moving out I left the apartment very clean & they still took out $145 of a $400 security deposit. Though the grounds were well taken care of, they're very money hungry. read more

We had crappy AC for the last three years and no one was ever able to figure out what was wrong or how to fix it. Yesterday one of the newer employees, Herb came by to look at the AC. He figured out that there was a part that needed to be ordered. He ordered the part and the very next day came by and fixed it.
