Love coming down here and walking the water, determining if I'm gonna go deep sea fishing, take a dolphin cruise, get a food truck or sit down for something nice on the water. This is an absolute tourist trap. The parking is $20, which is insanity. They have a lot of water and boat tours that leave out of here. Seems like quite the place if you're looking for night life. I read the reviews and knew what to expect coming to this attraction. However, like most people mentioned there isn't alot to do in Destin. I was visiting during off peak season and places weren't crowded which I loved. This is a cool spot to check out solo or with friends and family. There's tons of places to eat from food trucks to your typical touristy restaurants. You can purchase some tasty sweets. They have activities for the family. I walked around the marina and looked at the beautiful boats. They have tons of different boat tour options. My favorite was the tiki inspired boats. Overall, I think it was worth visiting once. Is it a tourist trap? Absolutely! But are still probably going to visit it? Unfortunately. There are only so many things to do in Destin besides the beach and this is one of them. What makes it sad is they are plan on getting you on food and drinks but they charge you $20 just to park. Once there there are rides for small kids that are expensive as well. Very popular and crowded tourist area located in Destin Florida. Me and my family on our family vacation stopped in this village twice during our stay. Both times was to do a Destin snorkel cruise which is located inside the harbor walk village. Th village is very lively and cool. Lots of places to eat, shop and just enjoy entertainment. They had a live stage of music both nights we were there. Some street performers. A huge zip line area and even a 7d theatre ride we took advantage of while waiting for our cruise to start. Very cool and popular place. Like most tourists area the prices are gouged everywhere here. But that is to be expected. A lot of fun can be had here. If you don't do crowds or have a kid who strays away I'd recommend avoiding this place at night. read more

First off it's $20 for the parking. We spent a whole 1 hour and half there. We didn't buy anything or eat anything. It was not something that we hadn't seen before. The kids attractions were mediocre but plenty of kids were being entertained. Everyone seemed happy and friendly, I'm sure it's because they were on vacation. Margaritaville is here and you can get pineapple and cocktails drinks at a few places. There a plenty of bars or places to get an adult beverage. There are plenty of fishing charters and places to book excursions within the harbour walk area. We wanted to do the buccaneer ship but the last sail had already left. I personally would not go back. Since my nephews were with us it was worth the parking fee just to entertain them for a few hours. read more

What a fun outing! We went for the All-American Night during their summer series and had a blast. The zip line is one of the major attractions right as you walk up, and for $35 not too bad. Our 8-y/o had a blast doing that, and got a cool souvenir photo for $20 (digital and print) We picked up some frozen yogurt and sat to watch the band play Americana music for a while then walked the boardwalk for shops. We liked going down the pier to see the boys coming in and out, especially the pirate ship! Bottled water and canned sodas can be bought for $2 from little vendors along the way, so just look for the small signs. Be ready to walk a lot. We parked on the road leading into the village instead of paying for parking on site. A little walk but hey, saved some money. Fireworks at 9 PM were great, too! Followed by the flame thrower. Highly recommend coming out if you want to see things and look through shops. Family friendly, except the music that was being played during the fireworks. Sounded more like a club. read more

I came here with my family to shop, eat, and discover what made Destin such a touristy hotspot. This boardwalk had plenty of shops and little things to look forward to. I enjoyed the carnival type feel of the area, the sounds, lights, and people. The shops and the little entertainment posts were a bit on the expensive side. There was a lot of shops and attraction, but it was too crowded to venture into anything. Parking was hard and the people walking around with no direction made it harder. I do recommend coming to experience the boardwalk, with friends, family, a group, or a casual date! read more

Solid 4 stars for the Harbor Walk Village. Free parking in the parking garage, great walking area to pay for a cruise, shops, get together for an escape room, enjoy some food for trucks, music, etc. We were told that there was going to be fireworks every Thursday night at 9pm since they do a Red, White and Blue Heroes celebration in the summer. A crowd of families waited until 9pm while they were playing music videos on stage. It was after 9pm and no fireworks. Awwwww bummer. We walked around the area and there were many shops, vendors, cruises and activities for all. The harbor and the scenery here is just beautiful. read more

Ahhh, the boardwalk. Some have been around for ever and some we think we can create. This one is actually pretty fun and ever evolving. This is one of my usual stops when I am in this part of the world There is a whack job parking garage that you have to maneuver but it is free :). The shops are varied and the activities are abundant. You can jump on trampolines or get a henna tattoo, your usual beach fare. You can also go deep sea fishing from here and book a day trip on a boat. There are lots of interesting eating options, but none of them have appealed enough for me to actually try one. It is a fun place to kill a few hours, as the old carny says "there is fun for all ages". read more

This was my time visiting Destin. We wanted to hit up the boardwalk but we somehow went to the Harbor Walk Village instead. It's a fun little area to walk around. There are some very beautiful views of the bridge and what I think to be Crab Island! If you have a weak stomach, I would be careful coming over here. People clean and cut fresh fish right alongside the boardwalk and it smells BAD! Lol. There aren't many shops to go in which is something important to consider if you're specifically looking for shopping. Overall it was a good experience. read more

For parking costing $10 dollars (monday afternoon) there was literally not much to do here. a couple of restaurants (margaritaville which you can see anywhere else without paying 10 dollars), a couple of crappy souvenir shops, and that was pretty much it. Also I couldn't find a spot so I had to circle around continuously. Even coffee was outrageously priced (iced americano ended up being $8!). I only spent 20 minutes here and left. My family loved the dining and shopping experiences at Harbor Walk Village over many years. Today my wife wanted to pick up a hat that took no more than 15 minutes. On leaving the parking lot we expected to pay a reasonable price for our brief stay, but instead were charged $20 which was their posted price for all day...not 15 minutes. They have no way to monitor the time a parking space is occupied and apparently don't care about repeat business leaving a patroni with a pleasant memory. My family and I will NEVER patronize another shop or dining establishment at Harbor Walk Village again! I will cease recommending that any one spend a dime there as well. read more

The price is well worth it for how much there is to do. So many shops and food trucks and activities. Definitely the place to be on weekends and holidays if you are okay with crowds in Destin during the summer months. A fantastic place to be during the week for a quieter experience. This destination has something for everyone. Consider finding yourself a place on a Thursday night during the summer at one of the bars or restaurants for a first class seat for the air show or fireworks. The air show starts at 7pm and the fireworks starts around 9pm. Defiantly a must see! (During summer months only, call Emerald Grande for exact dates and times). There are more fabulous places to eat and have fun along Florida's longest boardwalk. Plenty of happy hour options. The zip line is $30, come zip across the boardwalk. There are retail stores specializing in clothes, shoes, swimwear, and bedding. There are so many kid-friendly vendors. The horrible star rating is for the greedy people who charge $10.00 to park!!! The shops that ay big rent money do not receive any of that. They do however get cheated out of people spending their vacation $$"s in their establishment. We were there and saw cars just turn around and exit. Parking was $10.00 dollars but we were rebels and parking across the way and walked over. The view from Harry T's was great. We spent my birthday celebrating here with bottomless mimosas.
