Might be a nice walk in the morning. We have Cable TV, small refer and a microwave. Pretty much all you need . The WIFI speed is Ten times faster than the expensive resort we were in Yesterday. Review for the RV Park. Good location on Tillamook Bay in Garibaldi. Check in was smooth and easy. Heather gave us directions to our site (31) a pull through for our truck and trailer. We had no issue driving through the park to our site. Site 31 has plenty of space around it since the access road is on the left and lawn and landscaping on the right. The gravel site was fairly level and no issue with the hooks ups. The Bayview from the site was a nice touch even being behind a couple of other sites. The park was peaceful & quiet during our stay. Garibaldi is an easy walking town with a walking trail right along the west side of the park. Our two night stay was priced @ $70nite. We enjoyed our stay and will return Harborview RV park if we come back to the area. read more

This little RV park is my dream purchase. In the port. So cute. It's a tight fit, but doable. So quaint, right on the water. Quiet for the most part. Looks like they added a few little tiny homes that you can rent. We walked over to the bar in the port had a few drinks and played Keno, soooo much fun. My only complaint is the garbage can at the doggie-poop-bag station was so full the nasty, used bags were spilling onto the ground. I get that the dog owners shouldn't have kept stuffing the bags in it also, but that trash can hasn't been emptied in a very very long time, and there were no other dumpsters or garbages that I saw. read more

We checked in during Thanksgiving week. Checking in was smooth. Instructions was well communicated. Clean rooms - my wife loved the themed decorations inside. And very easily fit in our budget. The morning offers a beautiful view of the water outside. Would love to come back again! read more

This park is directly across from the harbor so with that brings a lot of crabbing, fishing, traffic starting at 7am and throughout the day. It is also flanked next to a timber mill so there is additional noise from that as well. All spots are gravel. The hook ups are on the wrong side which had me parking on the sidewalk due to the shortness of the space. Office woman was pretty bland, from traveling all over the state come to realize it's a very red state and the areas closer to the coast are sadly full of those types of folk so keep that in mind. There was a single shower for the entire park, it was spacious and clean. Lots of washers and dryers. Places to eat in the area were all closed from the beginning of the week maybe it's dif on the weekends. Wanted to try the food truck that had such great reviews just down the street from the rv park but everything was closed. There is only a small connivence store that offers a few more grocery type items in the area unless you drive 15 mins to Tillamook. Overall it was a decent rv park, prices were ok. Area was a bit meh for me, lots of seniors there which seemed to enjoy it, it's all in what your looking for. read more

For a sleepy harbor town this is a cute little motel. Great for a one night stop. All rooms are remodeld and clean and décor cute. Very small, but you don't need much for a one night stop. Debra took reservations and communicated great, she is very nice. Even let us check in 3 hours early! Quick walk to Portside Bistro right there in the parking lot, I would recommend. I would stay there again! Seafood market in the parking lot also, bring oyster shucker if you want to enjoy in your room. Cons: It's a motel, walls thin. Mattress was to soft. read more

Fell in love with this inn after seeing it on booking.com. The room didn't disappoint. Nicely decorated in beach decor, very clean, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge. Room 3 bed is comfortable. Nice black out shades. Personally I heard nothing I use a fan. A 4 star was given for the view. I can see the boats in the harbor there is a parking lot in between. Not the greatest area to walk the beach. They do have a nice pier to crab And many fishermen in the harbor. If I'm in the area I will stay again. read more

A cute little inn with perfectly decorated rooms. Check in and check out was a breeze. The rooms were exceptionally clean; I was expecting some spider webs or other blemishes on the ceilings and walls because of how affordable it was, but it was immaculate. Location is great too being on a scenic strip with some interesting restaurants within walking distance. My only gripe was that either the walls were thin, or our neighbors were loud. I heard their phones ring and them talking indistinctly, but loud enough to bother me in the room next door. That being said, I'd certainly recommend this in for any potential travelers! read more

Second time to this area and spotted this place while crabbing in Garibaldi pier. Booked it for Valentines day. What a gold mine. Very reasonably price per night (We stayed 4 days), laundry services and ice room with showers for RVers and guests, crab pot to boil our bounty, remodeled rooms, location location location. We came to crab. Kept our bounty on ice in our rig. No crab allowed in rooms. I can totally see that and no problem at all. Deborah up front and housekeeping were awesome. I got a room for 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs. The deal on Groupon was great, booked through Groupon and got a confirmation email from Harborview. Our room faced the Garibaldi Marina, which is an active place, so you'll hear traffic from trucks with boats often. It was a neat view and we didn't get bothered by marina noise. Ryann in the office is sweet and on top of things! She lent me a free cooler tray to help keep the room's carpet dry and clean. The room was bright and clean, the decor was nautical and quaint and the bathroom pristine. There is a cool raised carpeted seat in the closet, which made a great spot for stuff as well as an impromptu bed for a kiddo. The parking is directly in front of the room. Across the parking lot is a grassy area for pups to potty and there is a wood sidewalk along the marina to a seafood business and some restaurants. Down the road is a gas station/minute mart, a DQ and a few miles away is the Barview Jetty park (worth the short drive and walk in). We will definitey come again! read more

Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, even a battery operated lantern to use for a stroll down to the water. Perfect spot for some dock crabbing. Nice spot to stay in Garibaldi! We stayed in a pet friendly room and was very clean no lingering pet odors from last vacationers. Price was 135 for one night for 4 people and a pet. The area can feel busy being close to the marina and a wood mill. But if you like crabbing and clamming they have the opportunity to do that here. read more

We stayed here from 8/1-8/3 It was my first stay - It's a really nice room we stayed In #5, for future self reminder (call ahead and reserve for a room towards the RV side) we had family staying in an RV, which would have been in eyesight from one another if we would have asked in advance. Our room faced the entrance / boat dock area. It wasn't loud but quite busy at times. We had a fridge, foldable chairs (if you wanted to sit outside) the clock had a USB import, TV etc. All the essentials needed - they offered. *bar of soap *toilet paper *makeup wipes ( super cool) *Hair dryer *few hangers *Fridge - (ice) you just had to ask the front. *Coffee pot *Towels *small fan Face masks are required in the office when checking in / out. The lady at the desk was extremely nice, I was told by my sister who checked us in. All parking spaces are right in front of your room. (Awesome) It was a nice stay, yet a star was taken off due to how hot it was in the room. Most people had the little fan on their window ledge for circulation. read more

Our well equipped room was really cute. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are great food options very close. We highly recommend the Fisherman's Korner Restaurant. The Fisherman's platter could easily feed 4 and the seafood was cooked perfectly. There was a live band and ax throwing in the parking lot last night. You couldn't hear it from inside your room so if your not interested in that it won't disturb you. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. I wanted to surprise my wife with an impromptu trip to the coast to take her mind off her hectic week. I lucked out and found this gem at the last minute- we loved our stay!! This motel was likely built in the 50's but they have done a fantastic job of modernizing the spaces and giving it a comfy, beachy feel. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, well appointed, and man are they clean! There wasn't even dust on the picture frames. Very reasonably priced as well. I think we just found a new Oregon Coast hideout to which we will undoubtedly be returning!!! read more

If what you want is reasonably priced, clean, and well managed lodging as close to crabbing, fishing, and clamming possibilities as possible: this is the place! As a bonus, the staff go at least two steps further to make certain your stay is enjoyable than any other inn that we have experienced. Indeed, though thoroughly professional (Jeff, the manager, has many years experience with a major hotel chain) the staff act more like friends recently met than simply hoteliers. If you need clamming or crabbing gear: they have it for rent at extremely low prices. We collected our limit on cockerels by walking out on to the beach from our room at low tide and raking for an hour or so. Later in the day we exchanged the rakes for crab nets and drowned some chicken pieces on the incoming tide. We came up with a couple of keepers. When we came in, the staff fired up a big pot and happily helped us cook our crab and clams ...at no charge!! Do you enjoy hearing something of the local lore? Join Jeff, on Saturday evening to make S'mores around the campfire and he'll spin a yarn or two for you ...again, FREE. After checking in, my wife and I planned to drive up to a favorite restaurant in Cannon Beach for razor clams, but the Troller (right there at the Garibaldi marina) did a superb job, no drive necessary. The next night, we tried the Fisherman's Korner (just across the street from Troller) for their much acclaimed fish and chips. They were done to perfection, and my clam strips were even more flavorful. The best I've had anywhere! Very lightly breaded and quick-fried: crispy on the outside and Ohhh so juicy and succulent on the inside! Why drive anywhere to eat? So ....why not 5 stars on my rating? While I'm a fan, the view from our room toward Tillamook Bay was not what I had expected. Instead of the bay, all we could really see was the RV parking area. But, given all of the benefits, we fully intend to come back here to stay again. read more

One of our favorite places to stay on the coast. We've stayed at many other higher priced hotels and we still are satisfied with this one. The rooms are very clean, nicely updated and fresh new decorations. You can't beat the price of this hotel, it's reasonable with plenty to do nearby. We usually enjoy the quick walk to the docks to drop our crab pots and then come back and cook our crab in the crab cooker they provide at the hotel. Only reason they didn't get a five star is because they are limiting access to the crab cooker that we had planned on using here. Apparently it is now only available during office hours which is definitely an inconvenience. Hopefully they will switch this rule back soon. read more

I was notified via email that the boiler was shutdown ... the boiler .. to boil crab ... which was the hence of the whole trip. and now weather I make it or not you are being charged 100% of the stay . This is a very cute little place. We wanted to find a place west of Tillamook so we could relax before we made our way down to Newport. This was my first time to Oregon and I knew nothing about different areas so I just hoped it would be ok. We were pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and decorated cute. The pillows and mattresses were good. We had everything we would need. I liked that I got a text telling me the room was ready for check in even though it was a little early. They requested my ETA so I was taken care of in case it was after their office closed. Great that the check out time is 11. There aren't many options in this small town but their recommendation to eat at the Bistro across the parking lot was great! Cold beer, best ruben EVER. Just really nice down to earth and friendly people. I learned in my short five days in Oregon that there are only 2 types of people in Oregon, very very nice or very very unfriendly. We were lucky enough to have only talked to nice people in this area. I loved the sounds of the train and boat bells. It is a very quiet place in March. read more

No on-site staff, so we called both after hours numbers, but no answer. We left without touching anything, but manager refuses a refund. Also, the name is misleading. When I registered online, my credit card got hacked. Since that was the ONLY time I've ever used that card online, I suspect someone sold my number. The credit card company is investigating. My wife and I were really looking forward to getting away from it all for a few days. What we found was a room with no AC (and it was hot). There was no view of any harbor, but there was an active lumber mill 20 yards from our room. We got no sleep for 3 nights. They leave their equipment going all night, and it sounds like gravel being shaken in a metal can. All night. There is nothing "charming" about this place. The staff was very nice. They gave us coupons for businesses that are closed during the week. In fact nothing is really open in Garibaldi except on weekends. The "free crabbing" actually costs $7 per person, which wasn't mentioned in the advertising. The other thing not mentioned was the fact that there are almost no crabs to catch outside of January and February. After we wasted 4 hours standing out in the rain on the dreary Garibaldi dock, we were informed that the crabs were all molting, and wouldn't be good to eat in the unlikely event that we caught one. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay because you're going fishing, maybe this is a good choice. If you want to relax at all, do not stay here. read more

While driving down the coast I happened upon this place as a good stop-over. I must say that this motel is a pleasant and refreshing blast from the past. Motor hotels like this were a standard feature of the coast for many years. Quick, clean, safe places to stop without breaking the bank...the kind of place that really enabled the car culture to thrive. Harborview like it promises overlooks a real working harbor. The motel is built with cinder blocks that are clean painted and well maintained, helps with any outside noise too. The whole place is impeccably clean with a real family touch here and there like old towels instructing you to use them for spills and such to keep the other ones clean...nice touch as they expect you to behave as if it were your own house. Big showers, like there used to be a tub there but now its all tile, plenty of space. Bed is clean and comfortable, smallish TV but who really cares anyway. The sum up: I've been looking for motels like this one all up and down the coast since it really is a great place...haven't found any that stack up yet. Hey Harborview! Ever think of opening some like-style places further south? Could really use one in Fort Bragg, Calif. read more

We've stayed here several times since my original review, and I think we like it even more now -- just a fantastic experience. There's so much to do within walking distance -- you can stay busy for a few days without ever getting in your car (if you so choose). One reason that I'm updating my original review is to call out the excellent staff. I didn't mention it last time, but everyone we've ever interacted with there has been amazing -- friendly, helpful, happy, and genuinely concerned that you enjoy yourself. This weekend when we checked in on Friday, there was some confusion about our rate. Jeff (owner? manager?) simply gave us the lower rate -- he could have insisted on the higher rate, but he didn't. This last time was no different unfortunately there was a situation regarding a possible stain on a quilt. I used an online hotel booker to find a place to stay on the Oregon coast during a recent trip. I was looking for someplace clean and under $100. The inn is located right in the marina parkinglot. While that might sound unpleasant, noise was not an issue and there wasn't much traffic. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. As my dad said, "decorated with a woman's touch" lol! It also had a fridge and a microwave, which was much appreciated. I would definitely keep this place in mind if I were to return to the Oregon coast on another non-camping trip! read more

What a cute little place across from the docks. It's a very small town and we were just passing through but we'd stay again if ever the opportunity. The room was clean and had a nice pull down window treatment to keep the light out at night. The office staff was nice and welcoming and the rooms were decorated nicely.
