As I went around the store, I struggled to find anything in my size, odd since it is a pretty common size. I did finally find something, I bought a pair of shorts, which could also be used as a bathing suit. I thought cool. Bought it in my normal size. Got home. I tried it on, and it was a tiny bit small. Figured NBD, I will swing by and exchange it for the next size larger. Well, today I swung by to exchange the shorts. Walked in and was greeted with "Do you have your receipt, "like the piece of paper? "I said NO, but I have my credit card receipt right here on my phone app. " They said they could not accept this? At the same time, I was assured they did not have the size I needed. I asked if I could get a store credit, and they said no. My reward for shopping local here was 2 visits, zero new clothing, and I am out $65. I'm not sure it could be any clearer that I bought these shorts here. Note to shop owners, if you plan to survive long term, the service you provide in the store is EVERYTHING.

Jelani told me that he had forgotten about me and was glad that I showed up to pick up the pants. They were the wrong length that I ordered and Jelani told me that I can get them altered with his tailor at a different location. I took the jeans and left. After a few days, I brought them back and returned them because I didn't want to have jeans altered after paying about $250 for them. About 30 minutes after I left the store I received a call from Jelani and the voicemail message is attached. Very odd call and disappointing since I've shopped there for several years. I will follow Jani's recommendation and never shop there again and I would recommend to everyone to do the same. "Hey Carlos is Jelani Martinez from Sartorio Inc. The staff greeted me when I came through the door and was very attentive (but not in a desperate salesman way). Farm Rio slip dress a couple of weeks ago and shipping was very fast. MISRED is always staffed with the sweetest people. Today was no different. There is always adorable new jewelry available, purses, shoes, sneakers and great gifts. If MISRED opened in Tampa ( consider this a plea ) - I would probably skip Anthropologie altogether. I wonder if... the seating placed between the dressing rooms could be oriented so that those sitting would be facing the door to the outside. The rooms have privacy curtains but I have knocked those during changing, only to see someone's husband or boyfriend sitting one foot from my dressing room facing me.
