The coffee was strong, food was made fresh, and the portion sizes were great. There is also a selection of pastries and speciality coffees. The cafe has a cute interior, with plenty of seating and a small patio. The only negative was that the service was a bit slow; I wouldn't go here if you're in a rush.

Today I was downtown shopping in -20C weather and left my cellphone at home by accident, I did not take my vehicle and really needed to make an immediate phone call. I asked the barista to use the phone and she stated that the shop did not have a phone. I then ordered a latte and politely asked how the coffee shop receives phone calls from customers. She stated that the phone belonged to the owner. I then asked her to ask him to borrow his phone. I heard him say a flat out no (she returned with the excuse that he did not have his phone)- not only was this a blatant lie but was a great inconvenience to me. ...great way to help customers in freezing weather.

Half the vegan menu was erased. Instead replaced by the simplest and cheapest of curries and another dish. Two options. Two, compared to the four-five that were given before. Also very curious to claim it as a vegan dish when the kitchen nor the new owners have read the packaging on the pita bread that accompanied it. (It was not Vegan so if vegans are eating here, please beware!!) The portions were also a bit small for the extravagant prices. It was one of our favourites and I hope to see return to what it was prior to the ownership change, but it is clear that the new owners are less inclined to think about quality and more inclined to think about the profit it generates. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
