Food is usually good and sometimes it's correct and actually what I ordered. But they never remember any sauces, they can't handle substitutions or taking off items. Just skip this place. Went to the counter to order. The manager Caryn was too busy counting her drawer money on the counter to acknowledge us. We ordered 2 burgers with a large fries, she came back with $26+, should have only came to under $15, she assumed that we wanted meals. Went to the bathroom while waiting for food. The ladies room was fine but apparently the men's room was disgusting, wet all over and reeked of urine. So back to waiting for our food, Caryn is yelling at her back of the house employees. Just terrible. We stopped here on our way to OBX. Bathrooms were disgusting, all trash cans through out the location were overflowing with trash, not an ounce of customer service, no napkins at all, fries were left all over the kitchen and visible from the line to order. Myself and the others with me all ate the fries but couldn't eat the chicken sandwich or chili dogs ordered. When we walked in there were no other customers ordering. We walked up and the young lady walked over and stood there, she said nothing to us. My wife said hello, and began the order. This place is great for their chicken biscuits and tea. We come here every Sunday for em! Our problems are with the prissy manager who's had a facelift and makeup plastered all over her face, with a "can I speak to your manager?!?" Hair cut. We ordered chicken biscuits for breakfast and she argued with my husband that they weren't serving breakfast yet. Um, lady, they're on the breakfast menu! Lol all the other staff is nice. They do need to make their sweet tea a little stronger though. Update: Definitely worth an evening visit or two! There's two young, short girls who work and they are so polite and sweet. One that I remember, Nastacia, is fantastic! She made my chicken sandwich absolutely PERFECT. Thanks again for such better service. The tea was much better this time around too! No shit this place has 1.5 stars! Terrible service, terrible everything. They forgot parts of our order, probly eating it right now. They didn't manage to include something so simple like napkins in our bag. Asked for ketchup, none. We had to pull the car up for whatever reason, couldn't figure it out cause none of our food was hot. We waited ten mins for our food & they forgot some of it. I should have read the reviews on yelp! There's rarely any customers comparing to McDonalds, which is right next door. I ordered a 2 piece fried chicken and it was soggy. Biscuit was ok. Bathrooms are DISGUSTING. Every table is nasty and has crumbs or trash on it. The floor is a mess it's covered in food and garbage. The service is super slow, while there is flies buzzing around everywhere. The flies can cause a major problem if they come in contact with the food. I do NOT recommend. read more

Definately NOT on corporate Hardee's spot check list. The staff acted as though the customers were stopping them from getting their naps. Very lazy attitudes, from the apparent manager on down. Ordered food and went to get drinks. Notified the older woman that appeared to be the manager that the Dr Pepper was out, and received a short "I know". I went to dispense some Ketchup, and it was out also. Once again, when told of this the apparent manager said "I know, we have packets". Even the most incompetent manager should be able to resolve at least one of these issues. The appearance of the seating area (see photo) clearly shows lack of pride in their workplace. One order (see photo) came cold to the touch and a deformed bun. It was sloppily assembled with an obvious lack of quality control. There was loud yelling, laughter, and cursing from the back kitchen, indicating they all were having a good time as customers waited for service. They got my order all wrong. I order a plain hot dog and it came covered in cheese, chili and onions, I paid extra for white meat chicken and they gave me all dark meat and on top of it all the charged me $0.55 just for some honey mustard dipping sauce. They gave me medium fries when I ordered a large and the coke slaw is dry and looks like it's been sitting all day. What a joke!! read more

What we expected was quality service and very enjoyable food, but what we got was very bad service and putrid food. There was no ketchup, ranch and the sody pop machine was out of service. If you'd like slow and cold service, this is the Hardee's for you. My husband and I stopped in for lunch and decided to take a break from our drive and eat in. After we placed our order we were given a number and the cashier wordlessly walked away. My husband's milkshake was delivered to our table in a reasonably timely fashion, however the milkshake was nearly completed by the time we received our meals, which were cold.
